Did she steal the script as well?
When Thea walked down the stage, Cody had raised from his seat, “Let’s go.”
Thea nodded and followed him. She didn’t even say goodbye to Tiffany, making her mad again.
Thea went back to her apartment and waited. A couple of days later, a call came in, congratulating her that she had got the role. Thea called Cody excitedly immediately. Cody was also quite glad for her.
Since the shooting scene was aboard, Cody was worried about Thea’s safety. So he sent Candace with her as well.
Candace was so excited when she found out that Dylan was a male leader, aka the cold-blood killer.
Dylan smiled charmingly as he saw the girls, “It’s good to see you again, Candace.”
Candace was happy that the big star still remembered her name. She went red as she held his extended hand.
And then, Dylan turned to look at Thea, “It seems like we’re co-actors this time. Let’s hope everything will go on smoothly.”
Thea nodded and smiled, resisting the urge to blush, “Of course. It’s good to see you again, Dylan.”
Gosh… This man was so beautiful.
The shooting began.
The first scene was on the street. The killer, Jim, was leading the way. While Molly, the girl with autism, was following him from behind slowly. They didn’t have much communication as always. But at this stage, the female lead had grown to trust this man. So Thea needed to present her emotions using her eyes.
It was their first scene, and it was quite difficult. The director had prepared to do it 20 or 30 times, but Thea was such a talented actress. She gave the director what he wanted on the first try.
“Cut!” The assistant shouted.
Thea and Dylan stopped at the same time.
The director. “One more try, and we can move on to the next scene.”
Thea naturally thought she was the reason for doing this scene again. So she turned to apologize to Dylan, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. Relax,” Dylan could understand her reaction. He used to be out of his state in the previous shootings before. It was normal for a new actor to feel a bit nervous.
When the boards were snapped, Thea instantly found her state again. She followed Dylan silently behind him. The emotion she conveyed using her eyes was even better than the last time.
There were more and more people as they went down the street. Jim turned around slowly and extended a hand at her. Molly’s eyes fell on his hand before shaking her head slowly, “No… It’s… It’s okay…”
Jim thus withdrew his hand and turned around. Thea needed to act like she was letting out a breath, yet she would still feel a bit disappointed in this part. She dropped her gaze and sighed. And her eyes were clouded with a tinge of disappointment.
“CUT!” The director clapped, “You guys did very well!”
Thea was relieved after hearing the cut, not noticing Dylan was smiling at her warmly.
This was Thea’s first day on a crew. She couldn’t help but feel everything was fun and interesting. She went to the monitor and checked out the scene with the director, asking if there was anything she needed to improve.
The director had never met someone so enthusiastic yet so humble before. He would like to teach Thea.
Thea listened closely as the director pointed out a couple of places that she could improve.
It was soon lunchtime. Candace brought Thea some sandwiches. Thea uttered her thanks as she enjoyed her beef sandwich.
She still didn’t put the script down as she ate it, studying the plots and lines closely.
Candace thought the way she looked right now was cute. So she took out her phone and took a picture for her.
Cody was in this office as he received the photo Candace sent him. He put down the phone and stared at his laptop screen for a while. But he couldn’t focus anymore as he thought about Thea’s beautiful face. He sent Matt to book him a flight ticket immediately before leaving his office to the parking lot.

Thea’s mouth dropped as she heard that the director was gonna shoot the rape scene first. She thought the scene was way behind. However, it turned out the shooting of the movie was not in order.
As a professional actor, she knew she couldn’t freak out. However… still…
Candace sighed, “Should we ask the director to delete the scene? What if those actors harass you for real?”
“The scene is important. It’s my job,” Thea patted Candace’s shoulder, “As for the harassment thing. I believe the director will only pick good people, so I would follow the scene.”
The director had reassured her again and again that she didn’t need to be nervous, knowing she was a rookie actress. He said the cameras wouldn’t get her private parts. There would only be her shoulders and belly revealed. But Thea was still shuddering as she played out the whole scene in her head.
“I will try to pass this with one take.” Thea clenched her teeth. She was a professional actor. She couldn’t flinch. It was irresponsible.
Candace hated this so much. She sent her brother a message immediately, saying these scenes were disgusting.
However, she didn’t expect her brother to suddenly show up behind her back.
“What rape scene you were saying?” Cody asked, frowning.
Candace yelped, “GOSH! What are you doing here? I thought you were in the city.”
“I booked a ticket.” Cody impatiently answered, “What were you talking about, rape scene?”
“Ye-yeah…” Candace nodded timidly.
Cody thought for a short moment, “I’ll talk to the scriptwriter.”
Candace waited nervously when Cody was in the tent.
When Cody walked out of the tent, the look on his face was heavy. He went directly to the director’s office. Candace followed.
“I just talked to the scriptwriter, and she told me the rape scene is quite necessary for the following plots. She said we couldn’t delete it,” Cody said to the director.
The director didn’t even bother to look up since he didn’t know who Cody really was. If this young man didn’t come with Miss Bradley, he would have kicked him out already.
“So?” The director looked up, his tone was cold and impatient.
“So, can we use a stunt?” Cody said calmly, “I’ll do the stunt.”
“You know how to act?” The director frowned. Who the heck was this young man to order everyone around on his site?
“My brother is a genius. You tell him how to do it, and he will finish it perfectly.” Candace explained and wore a proud smile.
The director’s mouth dropped open, “Your brother? This is your brother, Cody Bradley?”
No wonder this young man resembled Candace Bradley so much. The director had recalled that Linford Bradley had twin children!
Cody Bradley was a major investor in this movie.
