Chapter 183
Lisa and Dina were still talking in Lisa’s office when Lisa heard her phone ring. It was a call from Mrs. Bella.
She quickly answered the phone call.
“Lisa Dear, how are you?” Mrs. Bella’s voice echoed from the phone.
“I’m fine ma’am. What about Daniel?”Lisa asked in response.
“Dear, Daniel is fine. He’s been discharged from the hospital, already so he’s home. You can come to see him at home” Mrs. Bella said
“So quick. I thought he was still recovering and wasn’t fit to leave the hospital yet. Why discharge him?” Lisa asked
“Oh, the doctor said he can be discharged. Besides, Daniel said he was tired of lying in the hospital bed. I hired a nurse for him already and the family doctor will be coming to check on him now and then while he’s at home” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa muttered an “oh”.
“Yeah and I’ll be holding a home party for him too by tomorrow. You can bring the kids and invite your friends too” Mrs. Bella said
“Of course ma’am, ” Lisa said in response.
“And Lisa, about the marriage arrangement I told you about, I would love to discuss it with you when you come to the party tomorrow, ” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa raised her head staring at Dina who was also staring at her. She kept quiet for a few seconds and then she finally spoke.
“Of course Mrs. Bella,” Lisa said and she could feel Mrs. Bella smiling from the sound of her voice.
“Another thing Lisa quit calling me ma’am or Mrs. Bella, I’m going to be your soon mother-in-law. I would prefer you address me as mom” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa swallowed hard.
“Of course,” she said in response.
“I’ll be expecting you,” Mrs. Bella said and with that, she ended the call.
“Woah!! An arranged marriage ” Dina muttered as Lisa dropped the phone.
“She told me before but I never took it seriously. I thought it was a mere joke but it seems she’s serious. She just wants Daniel to be happy” Lisa said and rubbed her forehead.
“So, what are you going to do now? I hope you are not planning on getting married to your twin brother. ” Dina asked concerned
“What? Hell no!! I don’t know what to do yet. I’ll think of something” Lisa said and Dina nodded in response.
Just then Lisa stood up from her chair and put her phone inside her bag, hanging it on her shoulder.
“Are you going somewhere else?” Dina asked
“Yeah, I’m going to see my mom,” Lisa said and Dina nodded.
“Be careful alright?” Dina said and Lisa nodded in response and with that she left.

A car screeched to a halt in front of Daisy’s house. Lisa alighted the car and walked towards the small house. She planted a soft knock on the door and just then the door opened revealing Freya.
“Hey, Freya” Lisa smiled as she saw Freya. Freya smiled at her in return. She knew why Lisa was here, it was because of her mom.
“Hi, come in,” Freya said and Lisa smiled before walking inside the house.
“Is m…….”
“She’s inside, I’ll go get her,” Freya said, cutting her off. Lisa smiled at her as she stared at Freya weirdly. She wondered if she knew Mrs. Rebecca was her mom.
What was she expecting ? she would know, it was so obvious. Who wouldn’t know Mrs. Rebecca was her mom? Even from the looks, people could tell they were related.
“Lisa” Mrs. Rebecca called out as she walked out of her room with Freya trailing behind her.
“Hi” Lisa muttered as she walked toward Mrs. Rebecca hugged her so tightly as if her life depended on it. Tears filled her eyes.
“Dear, are you alright?” Mrs. Rebecca asked as she pulled away from the hug.
“Yes, I’m fine. I just missed you so much” Lisa said and Mrs. Rebecca smiled at her.
“I missed you too and the quadruplets too. You didn’t bring them with you?” She asked
“No, they’ve gone to school. Why don’t you get dressed so we can go out? We can go pick up the children from school together” Lisa said and Mrs. Rebecca’s face became bright.
“Really?, I’ll go change my dress immediately, ” Mrs. Rebecca said as she rushed inside her room making Lisa smile.
Lisa smiled at Freya.
“How about daisy? Isn’t she home?” Lisa asked
“No! She went out to get some groceries” Freya said Lisa nodded and just then the door burst open revealing Daisy holding some bag in her hands.
“Hey, Lisa” Daisy muttered in surprise as she saw Lisa. She didn’t expect she was going to see her at her house. She wondered what she was doing at her house. It was definitely because of her mother and no other reason.
“Hey, I was just asking after you from Freya and she said you went out. How are you?” Lisa smiled at her.
“I’m okay. I didn’t know you would be coming. You didn’t call me” Daisy said as she dropped the bag she was holding on the ground.
“Freya please take these insides,” Daisy said pointing at the bag. Freya nodded and walked towards the bag. She carried it from the ground and went inside.
“I just wanted to surprise mom. I have missed her all these years. I just wanted to spend some time alone with her, it might help speed up her memories” Lisa said and Daisy hummed in response.
“So, I’m taking her out today. I hope you don’t mind ” Lisa asked
“Of course not. You shouldn’t ask for permission before taking your mom out” Daisy said and Lisa chuckled.
“So where are you planning on taking her?” Daisy asked
“Uhm, maybe a restaurant, and I’ll order her favorite food back then. I’ll get her, her favorite goodies and anything else I know she loves then we can go pick up the kids from school” Lisa said Smiling, and Daisy scoffed.
“There’s something I need to tell you, Lisa,” Daisy said
“What’s that?” Lisa asked in response
“Can we go outside and talk”
