Chapter 182
Mom!!” a voice called out shakily.
“Baby!! baby! Mommy is here now” a voice said as she hugged her daughter
“Mummy!!”
“Shhh baby, don’t cry! I’m here now! I’m going to protect you, everything is going to be fine” Another voice could be heard whispering
“I love you, mommy”
“I love you too baby”
Suddenly a gunshot followed with blood spilling all over.
“Arghhhhhhh!!!” Mrs. Rebecca yelled as she woke up from her sleep. Beads of sweat rolled down her forehead and just then Freya ran inside the room as she heard her mom scream.
“Mommy” Freya called as she moved towards Mrs. Rebecca whose tears had already gathered in her eyes.
“Are you Alright mommy? What did you dream about” Freya asked worriedly. Freya had known Mrs. Rebecca to be having a series of nightmares where she heard voices of a girl and her mom but it was so blurred, she couldn’t see the faces.
“Is it the same dream?” Freya asked Mrs. Rebecca nodded as she swallowed hard.
“Were you able to see the faces this time?” Freya asked
“No!! It’s the same old dream and it’s still a blur. The only thing I saw was Blood all over” Mrs. Rebecca said and Freya sat beside her and hugged her. She wished she knew about Mrs. Rebecca’s past, she would have helped her remember but she knows nothing.
She was still little when Mrs. Rebecca came in and Daisy said she was her mom. When Freya’s mom died of cancer, Mrs. Rebecca stood by her and helped her recover even though she still misses her mom, she feels she’s still here with her in the form of Mrs. Rebecca.
“You’re gonna be fine alright, ” Freya said as she pulled away from the hug and Mrs. Rebecca nodded.

After Lisa had woken up from sleep, she received a text from Alfred that he would be really busy and would not be able to come.
She stood up from her bed, walked inside the bathroom, took her bath, and brushed her teeth. After that, she went to the kitchen and prepared breakfast for the kids.
She woke them up, helped them get dressed for school, and served them breakfast. After they were done eating, she dropped them off at school.
She decided to go to the restaurant to see how things were going over there in her absence. The car screeched to a halt in front of the restaurant and she alighted the car. As usual, the restaurant was filled with so many people and just then she caught a glimpse of Dina speaking with Williams outside the restaurant.
Williams was just about to leave so he kissed Dina softly on her lips before entering his car and then zoomed off. Immediately, he left Dina to enter the restaurant when she saw Lisa.
She smiled and walked towards her. Immediately she got close to her and hugged her so tight.
“Hey, I missed you,” Dina said smiling and Lisa laughed
“I missed you too,” Lisa said, sounding so tired and weak.
“You alright? You sound weak” Dina said and Lisa sighed softly.
What does anyone expect? For her to be strong? she just found her mom days back and worst of all she couldn’t remember her and then she just found out last night that Daniel was her twin. She wondered how much more shocking news she was going to receive.
“I’m okay,” Lisa said as they both walked inside the restaurant.
“Welcome, ma’am. Welcome ma’am” the workers greeted as they saw Lisa. She just waved at them.
“I know that look on your face. What happened this time?” Dina asked as they both walked inside Lisa’s office. Lisa sighed softly as she sat on her chair staring at Dina.
“I found out my mom is still alive,” Lisa said to Dina who stared at Lisa looking as surprised as ever.
“I thought…….” Dina paused as she stared at Lisa.
“I thought so too. I guess it’s a miracle she’s still alive. And now she’s lost her memories. She doesn’t remember me and it’s so heartbreaking. And just yesterday I found out Daniel is my twin” Lisa said and this time Dina was more than shocked.
“Lisa, you are not serious right?” Dina asked
“Of course I am. A DNA test result proved it” Lisa said In response.
“Does Daniel know about it?” Dina asked
“No, he hasn’t found out yet. I need to find out if it’s true and only my mom can tell me the truth. Since I was a kid, I never had a brother. It was just me, my mom, and my dad. I’m still surprised though. If Daniel is my brother I wonder where he’s been all those times when he was still a child” Lisa said, lots of thoughts going through her mind.
“Only your mom can prove it right and now she’s lost her memories, you should act fast and make her remember, ” Dina said
“But how?” Lisa asked
“Spend more time with her. Remind her of the good and bad memories you guys had together. Remind her of the day you guys were Ambushed, remind her of how you were taken away while she was shot. How you thought she was dead, tell her damn thing. I bet one way or the other she will remember and I’m so sure one way or the other she must feel a connection between u guys” Dina said as tears slipped down Lisa’s cheeks.
“I know this is a tough time for you Lisa. If Daniel is your twin, you should do anything in your power to reunite your family again. Just be strong, Alright” Dina said as she walked towards Lisa and hugged her.
“Just know I’ll always be here to support you,” Dina said and Lisa felt her heart melt.
More tears gathered in Lisa’s eyes. Dina was a good friend to her. She wouldn’t wish for Anything more than to have a true and sincere friend. She felt so lucky to have her.
