Chapter 133
Give the ones you can give out to the beggars in the street. The workers can take as much as they want and you can take them home too. I’ll go get my kids from school” Lisa said as she walked out of her office. She wasn’t sure how she was going to fix it but she just needed to find a way to fix it.
After she had picked up her kids from school they went home straight. Lisa prepared dinner as usual and did her normal routine. When the kids had slept off she went to her room and laid down on the bed as different thoughts fled through her mind.
She needed to do something about the restaurant, she can’t just sit and watch her restaurant go down like that. She needed to call for help and her only option was Daniel.
She was so sure Daniel had been busy, she didn’t want to disturb him but now she had no choice, he’s her only hope, she thought and was about to pick up her phone to call Daniel, it was then she realized she had left her phone in the sitting room. She was already feeling too tired to stand up.
I would call him by morning, she thought as she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.

It was morning and her sound sleep was disrupted by the sound of her phone’s ringing tone. Lisa groaned as she opened her eyes searching for her phone. She switched on the light in her room searching for it. It was then she realized she had left it in the sitting room last night and it was ringing from there.
she groaned as she wondered who would be calling her when it was not morning. Just the phone stopped ringing. She switched off the lights and closed her eyes about to drift to sleep when she heard the phone start ringing again.
She groaned softly and stood up from her bed tiredly as she staggered downstairs. She searched for her phone which was still ringing and finally found it on the couch in the sitting room. She checked the Callers ID and saw it was Dina calling.
She wondered why Dina was calling her. She answered the phone and put it on her ear.
“Lisa, are you still sleeping?” she heard Dina yell from the phone.
“You woke me up and why is there so much noise there?” Lisa asked as she removed the phone from her ear a bit.
“It’s the restaurant,” Dina said, yelling. Dina was yelling as she barely could hear her voice. There was so much noise and people in the restaurant.
“What happened to the restaurant?” Lisa asked as she felt her heart cut. She wondered why there were noises in the restaurant or if something had happened. she thought.
“I can’t say anything here, the noise is too much. Just switch on your Tv and see for yourself ” Dina said and ended the call. Lisa picked up the remote and switched on her Tv and to her surprise, she saw Alfred speaking to the press in front of her restaurant and there were a lot of people there.
“This bastard still has the right to come to my restaurant after what he did,” Lisa thought angrily. She wrapped her hands on her chest as she listened to what he was saying.
“I know many of you despise Mrs. Lisa because of what she did to me. Many of you think it was inappropriate for her to slap me but I’m here to tell you today that whatever Mrs. Lisa did that day, I deserve it” Alfred said and Lisa scoffed
Thank Goodness you know, you deserved it, she snorted as she kept on watching.
“Mrs. Lisa was my wife and I hurt her a lot more than every one of you here could ever imagine in the past. And now I’m here to right the wrong I did to her, I’m here to make things up to her and prove to her I’m no longer the man I used to be” Alfred paused as he bit his inner lips.
“What?? Wife??” Lisa scoffed as she opened her mouth wide in shock. This man must be crazy, she thought.
“Whatever happened between me and Mrs. Lisa is personal and I’m trying so hard to fix it. No one should Involve her restaurant in it. Even without my help, she had built this restaurant to where it is today and I won’t stand and watch it go down.
You all should go to The Bella’s restaurant and you won’t regret it. Her food is one of the best I have tasted in Singapore so far. We should all join hands together and support The restaurant.
And Lisa if you’re seeing this right now or listening to this, I won’t stop till you forgive me” Alfred said and Lisa joined her lips.
“Thank you, that’s all,” Alfred said and was about to walk out of the crowd when a reporter asked him a question and he stopped.
“What did you do to her?” The female reporter asked and Alfred turned to her. Lisa felt her heartbeat increase immediately. She swallowed into nothing praying Alfred wouldn’t say anything.
This wouldn’t only ruin Alfred’s Image, it’s gonna ruin her one way or another. Lisa could feel her heart running a marathon race. She didn’t want the world to know she was once a sex slave and her kids were a result of it.
Alfred gave the reporter one more stare before walking away. Lisa watched as lots of people were entering the restaurant and coming out. Lots of cars entering the compound while some leaving too.
She sighed softly and put her hands on her chest. She felt her heart melt with what Alfred did, he had just saved her a lot of stress but on the other hand, he caused more attention to her.
She sighed softly and switched off for Tv dropping the remote on the table. She turned around and saw the kids standing behind her.
“Oh my goodness you guys scared me!! How long have you all been standing there?” Lisa asked as she put her hands on her chest.
“Mommy, is Mr. Alfred our daddy?”
