Stay the fuck away from me else I’m not going to slap you in public next time I’m gonna do something worse. It’s not a threat, it’s a warning” Lisa said and with that, she walked away.
Alfred stood numb not saying a word. He was in shock that Lisa slapped him. Just then Mr. Luke walked toward him.
“What just happened? Is Mrs. Lisa a gangster?” Mr. Luke asked as he saw Lisa walk away angrily.
“What happened Alfred, why did she hit you?” Mr. Luke asked Alfred who seemed to be lost in thought. Alfred stared at the crowd who were still staring at him murmuring.
He didn’t care about the crowd, they can say whatever they want all he wants and care for is for Lisa to talk to him but she seems to hate him a lot and wouldn’t want to talk to him at all.
“Alfred…..”
“Let’s talk somewhere else,” Alfred said as he walked away and entered Luke’s car and Mr. Luke hopped in too.
Meanwhile, Lisa walked inside her office angrily with Dina trailing behind her.
“What happened Lisa? You just slapped Alfred King” Dina said and Lisa turned to her angrily.
“That monster fucking had the gut to touch me after what he did to me? God!! Everyone thinks he’s a great man not knowing he’s a fucking monster. I’m gonna hit him over and over again. I hate him” Lisa yelled angrily and Dina swallowed hard.
Lisa had told her about how she was bought n turned into a sex slave, tortured, and almost died but she never told her who the man was. Does that mean it was Alfred King?
“Oh my goodness!! Lisa was it, Alfred Kings? The new ambassador of the funding party?” Dina asked surprised and Lisa sat on her chair staring at her without saying a word. Dina couldn’t believe it as she didn’t know what to think.
Does this mean Alfred is the father of the quadruplets, Dina thought helplessly? She couldn’t believe this. She’s known Alfred to be one of the most richest and influential men when it comes to the Architectural community. If there’s one thing she probably knows about Alfred kings is that he loves keeping a low profile.
“Lisa, it’s all over the internet that you just slapped an influential man. There are lots of bad reviews and it’s gonna affect the restaurant, ” Dina said as she gave her phone to Lisa showing her the reviews online.
“What are we going to do now?” Dina asked worriedly. She knows how much work, money, and effort Lisa had put into this restaurant to make it where it is today so they both won’t sit and just let it crumble.
“I don’t know Dina, my head is messed up,” Lisa said as tears gathered in her eyes. The thought of her restaurant going down overnight made her heartbroken. She can’t let that happen, she needed to do something, she thought.
“Lisa” Dina called as she moved towards her and hugged her so tight.
“Must he make my life miserable for me? Must he ruin everything I have worked so hard for?” Lisa cried out
“We’re gonna find a way out of this. We always do” Dina said in an encouraging tone as she pulled away from the hug. She wiped her tears and smiled at her.
“I’m sure you wanna go pick the children up from school. It’s evening already” Dina smiled
“Oh!! I almost forgot ” Lisa smiled as she sniffed.
“I’ll bring them to the office from school, ” Lisa said as she stood up picking up her car keys.
“No, it’s fine. You should take the kids home and rest. I’ll take care of things here” Dina said and Lisa pouted.
“Thank you, Dina,” Lisa said and Dina nodded in response. Lisa gave her one small smile before walking out of the restaurant. Immediately she walked out and she could feel lots of eyes on her.
She quickly entered her car, exhaled deeply, and zoomed off to her kid’s school. After she had picked up her kids from school, she went home.
After they had gotten home she prepared dinner for the kids. She helped them wash their uniforms and most of their dirty clothes. She washed their lunch box and made sure their assignments were all done.
She made sure they all ate till they were full. She helped them take their bath and laid them on their bed and as usual, she told them a bedtime story. When they were asleep she kissed them on their forehead before switching off the lights in their room and then walked out of the room to hers.
She entered her room and went straight to the bathroom to take her bath. After that, she lay tiredly on the bed. She was feeling so exhausted, physically and emotionally. Still, she was trying her best to be strong.
She just hopes that ever happens because she and Alfred don’t affect her restaurant. After all, she will never forgive Alfred for that.
She closed her eyes and suddenly she drifted to sleep.

Meanwhile, Alfred is seen in Mr. Luke’s villa sitting on the chair In his sitting room.
“Alfred,” Mr Luke called out and Alfred, who was in deep thought, turned to him. After Alfred and Mr Luke had left the restaurant, they both went to the motel to talk but Alfred refused to talk.
With the way he was looking, Mr luke was scared of leaving him all alone in the motel and asked him to follow him home and Alfred refused to talk no matter how many times Mr luke tried to make him talk.
“Why did Mrs. Lisa slap you, Alfred? What happened? What’s wrong?” Mr Luke asked for the hundredth time but Alfred refused to say a word. He hated Alfred this way. He looked so broken.
He sighed softly and stood up “you should sleep in the guest room. It’s upstairs. When you’re ready to talk I’m available” Mr Luke said and just as he was about to leave Alfred spoke.
“I hurt her in the past,” Alfred said and Mr. Luke turned to him.
“You hurt her?” Mr Luke asked to be sure of what he just heard.
“Yes. I bought her as a sex slave, tortured her, and made life a living hell for her” Alfred paused as tears gathered in his eyes. Mr Luke then sat close to him.
“But why Alfred?” Mr. Luke asked, almost feeling disappointed.
“I was blinded by revenge. I wanted to Avenge my parents, I thought that way I’ll finally have the peace of mind I have been craving but it only made things worse. Everything I did to her keeps on hunting and makes me have sleepless nights” Alfred said as tears slipped down his cheeks. Oh my goodness, Mr. Luke muttered.
“I’m a bad person. I hurt her and almost killed her not knowing she was pregnant. She will never forgive me for what I did to her” Alfred cried as his lips trembled and Mr Luke could feel the pain and regret in his voice. He regrets everything he did to her and it was so obvious he was ready to correct the mistakes he made.
“No one is above mistake, Alfred. People make mistakes. No matter who we are or how influential we are, one way or the other we’ve hurt people and made so many mistakes but that doesn’t make us a bad person”
