Are you sure? Because I have been noticing her since she came. She’s been acting weird. Like there is something about her I cannot place my fingers on” Lisa said.
“Same here, I noticed that too. Maybe she’s not comfortable with the hospital smell” Derek said with a shrug and Lisa laughed.
“I’m serious Derek. I’m not joking. What if joy is working hand in hand with Martha?” Lisa said and Julia stared at her without saying a word. She knows joy is her sister but she would admit that her sister has been acting weird.
“Do you want us to follow her?” Julia asked and Derek turned to Julia.

Joy’s car came to a halt in front of the warehouse. Martha peeped and saw it was a joy. She heaved a sigh of relief.
Joy carried her bag and walked inside the warehouse where she saw Clara lying on the ground unconscious.
“What did you do to her?” Joy said as she rushed towards Clara.
“Nothing, I just gave her some sleeping pill which is gonna fade away in no time and she’s going to be awake,” Martha said as she puffed out smoke from her mouth.
“Why would you do that?” joy asked
“Do what?” Martha asked
“Give her sleeping pills,” joy said
“She was a pain in the house. She would not stop asking after her mama ” Martha said
“I didn’t know you smoke, ” Joy said as she walked away from Clara.
“I just smoke sometimes to clear my head. Nothing more” Martha said and joy hummed, making Martha roll her eyes.
“I hope you weren’t followed?” Martha asked
“No, I made sure of that,” Joy said and sat close to Martha. She coughed as she Inhaled a little of the smoke.
“Can you please throw that away?” joy said as she coughed
“Wanna taste it? It’s gonna help you calm down because I can sense you’re feeling nervous” Martha said and joy shot her a deadly glare.
“Don’t kill me with your looks. I’m throwing it away now” Martha said and dropped the cigarette on the ground and used her leg to match it to the ground.
“So what’s our next plan? We need to get out of here before anyone finds out about this place ” joy said
“I’m still thinking but for the main time. I’m gonna be staying here. Did you bring what I asked you to?” Martha asked
“Yeah, there’s some clothes and food inside the bag,” Joy said as she gave Martha the bag.
“Thank you, ” Martha said And joy hummed.
“You know this wasn’t how we planned it. Why were you so careless that you let Dina find out about our plans” joy said
“You can’t blame me. I was having a running stomach that day. And I was so weak. She had given me some drugs to help me regain myself back so I had fallen asleep when I woke up. I saw her going through my phone.
All the voice notes and everything she heard and saw of them. She wanted to confront me but she decided not to. She had gone to call Lisa and tell her but I was quick to stop her in time and I had to do what needed to be done” Martha said as she brought out the pack of snacks joy had brought.
“Thank you for this. I was really hungry” Martha said as she ate the snacks. Joy did nothing but stared at her.
“Now all our plans are ruined, we gotta keep running now because If we are caught we are as good as dead” joy said and Martha hummed.
Martha and Joy were so engrossed in their discussion but suddenly they kept quiet when they heard noises from inside the warehouse.
“I thought you said no one followed you?” Martha said as she stood up.
“I swear no one followed me. I made sure of that, ”Joy said, already feeling scared.
Martha brought out two guns and gave one to joy then held the other one.
She moved towards Clara and pointed the gun at her.
“Whoever is there, if you don’t come out I’m gonna pull the bullet on this child’s forehead and I’m sure you don’t want that,” Martha said as she crooked the gun in her hands and to her utmost surprise Lisa came out.

After joy had left the hospital, Lisa, Derek, and Julia decided to follow her. They took Lisa’s car and followed her.
At first, Joy went home. She brought out a bag and put it in her car. She looked around the area to be sure no one was watching before she entered the car. She ignited the engine and zoomed off.
Derek, who was driving Lisa’s car, decided to follow. Then they noticed she was going downtown to the abandoned warehouse.
She stopped the car, climbed out of the car with the bag in her hands, and walked inside the warehouse.
“Oh my goodness. I’m sure Martha must be inside. We should inform the police” Derek said and just then Lisa heard her phone vibrate. It was a call from Daniel.
“Pick it up and tell him we found Martha. Then text him the address” Julia said and Lisa nodded before answering the phone call.
“Lisa, where did you go? I came back to your ward and discovered it was empty. Where are you?” Daniel said in a worried tone.
“We just found Martha. She’s in an abandoned warehouse downtown. I’ll send you the address ” Lisa said
“Ok but please don’t go in there. Stay where you are till the police get there. Lisa doesn’t go in, it’s too dangerous ” Daniel said and Lisa ended the call. She switched off her phone and put it in the car before hopping out of the car.
Derek and Julia stared at each other too and they both hopped out of the car before they sneaked into the warehouse to their surprise, they saw Martha and joy sitting down talking and Clara lying unconscious on the ground.
