Chapter 91
The car came to a halt in front of Mrs. Bella’s mansion. Lisa climbed out of the car and just then Mrs. Bella walked out of the house with Nova trailing behind her.
“Aunt Lisa” Nova yelled and ran towards Lisa and hugged her.
“Oh, my sweet girl” Lisa said and carried her. She doesn’t know why she just loves nova a lot. The little girl is just so sweet.
“Welcome, Lisa. Thank you for coming” Mrs. Bella said and hugged Lisa. She felt surprised.
“Thank you, ma’am, ” Lisa said as she pulled away from the hug and smiled at her.
“Let’s go inside, ” Mrs. Bella said and held Lisa’s hand before walking inside the house.
Lisa felt kind of surprised by the special treatment Mrs. Bella was giving to her.
“Aunt Lisa, come let me show you my room. I have lots of toys in my room that I use to play” nova giggled happily
“Oh really. That’s nice” Lisa responded, smiling at her.
“Nova, go to your room and play. I and your aunt Lisa want to talk. I’ll call you when you’re needed” Mrs. Bella said and nova nodded obediently before climbing the stairs to her room.
Lisa stood there staring at nova. God!! She felt her heart melt at the sight of this little princess.
“She’s such a sweet kid right?” Mrs. Bella said smiling and Lisa turned to her.
“Yes, she is,” Lisa said, smiling too.
“You should sit,” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa nodded before sitting down on the chair while Mrs. Bella sat close to her.
Mrs. Bella noticed Lisa was not feeling so comfortable around her. She sighed softly as she stared at Lisa. She knows she hasn’t been the best kind of person to Lisa lately.
She hated her and said so much about her. All she wants is to make peace and fix all her mistakes.
“Lisa I know you don’t feel safe nor comfortable around me because of everything I have said to you before and how I have treated you.
I just hope you put everything behind you so we can have a new start and so I can fix all my wrongs and make everything right. I hope you give me a chance” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa smiled at her.
“I hold nothing against you, ma’am. I understand what you were trying to do. You were only trying to look out for your son. Any mother would do the same” Lisa responded and Mrs. Bella smiled.
“I see the reason my son loves you so much and would not want to leave you. You’re very understanding, ” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa chuckled.
“So tell me about your parents, ” Mrs. Bella said
“Oh! My parents are no more” Lisa smiled
“I’m sorry about your loss,” Mrs. Bella said
“It’s all in the past now,” Lisa said
“Do you have relatives? Maybe a distant relative?” she asked and Lisa sighed softly. She had one. Her uncle Damon. The only uncle she had trusted and taken like a father but he ended up betraying them.
He killed his mom and sold her out for wealth. She didn’t regard him as an uncle anymore because to her, he was dead.
“No, I have none,” Lisa said and Mrs. Bella felt so much pity for her.
“I believe it’s all in the past now. Well, you have Daniel and me now. We are here for you” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa smiled at her in appreciation.
“Daniel will be coming home this evening. He doesn’t know you’re here so it’s gonna look like a surprise to him” Mrs. Bella said happily and Lisa giggled.
“You know I know my son likes you, maybe they’re some few things about him you can learn from me. You know I’m his mother” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa laughed.
“Seriously, is this woman thinking I’m his son’s wife or what?” Lisa thought in her head.
“Sure, thank you, ma’am, ” Lisa said
“You should quit calling me ma’am. You can call me mom from now hence” Mrs. Bella said
“Really?” Lisa asked
“Yeah of course, ” Mrs. Bella said in response.
After that Mrs. Bella and Lisa talked about a lot of things. It was already evening and Mrs. Bella had prepared dinner with the help of Lisa.
Daniel had arrived and he was surprised to see Lisa at his mom’s house. He felt so happy that they were flowing well and everything was going smoothly. This was all he wanted and it is all happening.
At first, he thought it was a dream but no it wasn’t a dream it was real and the most shocking of all Lisa addressed his mom, Mrs. Bella, as a mom. Daniel was so shocked.
He was glad his mom had made things right between her and Lisa. He felt so grateful. He couldn’t ask for anything more than that.
After dinner, Lisa and Daniel had gone home happy. When they got home they went to their separate room. Took their bath and went to bed.

It was a day break and a brand new day. After Lisa had woken up she took her bath and got dressed for Dina’s house. They all planned on going to Martha’s house today.
She had called Derek and the rest and they said they were already on their way.
After getting dressed she went downstairs for breakfast only to realize Daniel had gone to the office early. So she had breakfast alone. After that, she hopped into the car and the driver took her to Dina’s house.
The car screeched to a halt in front of Dina’s house. Lisa hopped out of the car and the first person she saw was Derek and Julia.
“Hey, miss pretty” Derek said as he walked towards her and hugged her.
“Hey,” Lisa said and pecked him on his cheeks.
“Oh wow!! You look sexy day by day” Julia said as she hugged her and pecked her on her cheeks. Lisa laughed.
“Where’s Dina and the others?” Lisa asked
“They’re inside”
