Chapter 90
A black Lamborghini screeches to halt in front of the king’s mansion.
Alfred climbed out of the car and walked inside the mansion with Andrew trailing behind him. They both looked so tired, especially Alfred.
He was physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. He still couldn’t believe he had seen Daniel after all these years and he still had the gut to stand to his face after what he did to him.
He’s so disgusting. He hated him the most for that. He’s a murderer and would always remain one no matter how hard he tries to hide it, Alfred thought.
“Won’t you have dinner before going to bed?” Andrew asked Alfred who was about to climb down the stairs.
Alfred couldn’t even remember the last time he had eaten in this house. The last time he remembered they had no maid in the house as he had fired all of them. He turned to Andrew.
“Don’t give me that look. I can’t continue to sleep hungry every day. I hired a chef” Andrew said, putting on a pitiful look. Alfred stared at him for some seconds before looking away and going back to his room.
Immediately he got into his room, removed his clothes, and walked inside his bathroom. He took his bath and walked inside his room with his towel tied around his waist.
He dries his body and put on his nightwear. He laid tiredly on the bed. His head filled with lots of thoughts.
He remembered the day Rhoda was found dead in her room. Everyone thought she committed suicide. He had thought she committed suicide too by poisoning herself.
Andrew had told him Rhoda would never commit suicide. Her parents loved her so much and Alfred loved her too. She had everything she wished for in life, why would she poison herself?
It was there Alfred realized Rhoda was poisoned. They decided to do more digging and investigation on the case and they found footage that contained a video of Daniel in Rhoda’s room forcing poison into her mouth.
It was a heartbreaking view. He had trusted Daniel so much that he could swear he wouldn’t do such a thing. Daniel betrayed him and he was never going to forgive him for that, Alfred thought.
But then a thought came to his mind, he then began to wonder how the footage of Daniel poisoning Rhoda came about. Someone must have videoed it and he wondered who. He quickly shook off the thought. He was glad the truth came to light and Daniel was exposed.
He then closed his eyes and drifted to sleep.

It was morning and another day to be precise. Lisa had woken up with the thought of Dina in her heart. She had forgotten to call her yesterday so she could know if the surgery was successful.
She let it escape her mind. She quickly picked up her phone and dialed her number but it wasn’t going through. Just then a call popped into her phone. It was a call from Derek.
“Hey, good morning, ” Lisa said as she answered the phone call
“Good morning hottie. I’m hoping you slept well?” Derek said and Lisa chuckled
“Yeah I did” she replied
“Uhm, Dina called me last night. She said she’s been trying to reach you since yesterday but your number wasn’t going through ” Derek said
“Is she alright?” She asked
“Actually, yes but something happened…” Derek paused
” What happened? Is Clara okay? Is Dina okay? Tried calling her but her number isn’t going through” Lisa responded looking sounding worried.
“She’s fine and the surgery was successful. Clara and Dina are both fine” Derek said and Lisa gave out a breath of relief.
“Thank goodness. I should go and see her this morning ” Lisa said
“They are still at the hospital. They’ll be discharged tomorrow then we can all go see them at home” Derek suggested and Lisa nodded.
“Ok then. I have to go now” Lisa said and ended the call. She sighed softly. She was glad they were both okay and the surgery was successful. She couldn’t wish for anything more than that.
She stood up from her bed and walked inside the bathroom. She took her bath and walked out of the bathroom.
She dried her body and applied lotion then put on a simple dress. She walked out of her room climbing down the stairs to the dining table as breakfast was already set.
She sat on the chair and didn’t waste any more minutes before munching on the food as she was feeling so hungry.
Not quite long Daniel came and joined her. They both are silent. When Daniel was done eating, he kissed her forehead and told her to call him if she needed anything. Lisa nodded at him and he smiled at her before leaving for the office.
After breakfast, Lisa spent some time with ma’am Lois as they talked about a lot of things. When she was feeling tired and sleepy she decided to go take a nap.
She walked inside her room and collapsed on the bed. She was about to drift to sleep when he heard her phone ring.
It was a call from an unknown number. She decided to answer the phone call.
“Hello, Lisa” she heard a feminine voice. That voice she recognized. It’s Daniel’s mom. Mrs. Bella.
“Hi ma’am, ” Lisa said surprised
“I’m sorry to disturb you. Daniel told me you were the only one at home so I called to ask if you would like to hang out with me and nova” Mrs. Bella said and Lisa didn’t say a word.
She felt a bit scared. At first, she wondered where she got her contact from. She didn’t know if she were to say yes or no.
“It’s alright. You can say no I’ll understand” Mrs. Bella said
“No no. I mean yes. Where should I meet you?” she asked
“I’ll ask my driver to come to pick you and please don’t tell my son you’re coming to meet with me and nova”
