The final stage I’ve been trying my best to avoid.
My poor Anna.
“Goodness, we… We’re too late,” Arnold said bitterly, staring back at Anastasia.
“Please, help me,” The man under her claws begged us.
Now that we were close, we could pick the scent of blood coming from the poor man’s body.
The side of his face had a fresh wound, as well as his shoulder. Seems he tried to battle with Anna but got beaten badly.
“I beg of you,” He cried, making his sobs loud.
And when Anna heard his sounds, she gave out a growl and placed her large feet on the fellow’s head, increasing his panic.
Hearing how he screeched out in fear, “Anna!” I called, getting her attention on me again.
She stared into my eyes in the dark, with her growl sounding low and… Sad. Her response to my call showed that my Anna is still in there. I think she recognized my voice!
“No, it’s not too late,” I said to my Beta, taking my steps forward, slowly.
“Alpha, wait. Have you forgotten what takes place when an infected person gets to this stage?” Arnold reminded me, sounding worried.
I haven’t forgotten. But in this case, I don’t care.
“Anna, it’s me,” I said, slowly getting closer to her.
She kept staring and growling softly at me. Her threat level wasn’t high like I thought. I could sense it from her heat.
She’s calm.
As I drew near with my hand stretching out to touch her, the fellow under her hold, foolishly made an attempt to push Anna off his body!
And when she felt his body trying to overpower her strength, I lost track with Anna!
There was something that flashed in her eyes, changing her instantly. And before we knew what was happening, Anna grabbed the fellow by the neck and sped down into the alley, running away from us!
“ANNA!” I yelled, going after her.
Arnold and I chased after a fast Anna, who stunned us with her remarkable wolf speed, dashing through the alley until she was out in the open.
When we came busting out from that tight space, we saw the pack people running away in fright.
They had seen Anna, and she was causing a lot of trouble by attacking any male wolf she laid her eyes on.
In just a few seconds, she had two more men in her hold, going wild at anyone who tried to fight with her.
I noticed four men who had shifted into their wolves, fighting with my Amna. The strangers were able to save her preys by landing several blows on her face, causing her to lose her grip on the men she kidnapped.
When I saw what they did, I got mad and almost stepped out to confront them. But what Anna did next stunned everyone, including me.
She staggered back when the strangers landed another hit on her face, but her retaliation was fast!
Even her opponents didn’t see it coming!
She dashed at them with a remarkable speed and served them with powerful punches to their body, before sinking her teeth into one of the men’s shoulder, causing him to roar out loudly.
That brought the fellow down on his knees, forcing him to shift back to human. He lost, and that got the others to back out, fleeing away from that area.
Their tremble scared the people who were watching. They also ran away from there, except for my Beta and I.
“Crap! She’s making her move!” Arnold exclaimed.
She still stood before the fellow she took down with her teeth, staring at his naked human body.
Her body came lowering down before the stranger, making an advancement towards him.
Seeing this, I dived right in with speed, taking the injured man to a corner for safety.
When I turned around to go and face Anna, I was forced to dodge because her fist almost went through my face!
Her speed… It’s indeed extraordinary!
Is this the effect of the substance in her blood?
That wasn’t the only thing that scared me about her transformation, but her height! It’s like her body increases when she attacks someone, or is it my eyes that’s just deceiving me?
I had no time to take note of my observation because of Anastasia. She had her other hand coming right at me in an uppercut, almost scrapping me from under.
Quickly, I used my arms to block her hit, before using my shoulder to push her back with my strength.
She drew back a little but still came at me viciously, opening her mouth to bite me!
That’s when Arnold swooped in with a pole, making Anna bite down on that. When her teeth came in contact with the metal, she bent it with force, turning her attention at my Beta!
“Oh boy,” Arnold sounded when he saw Anna glaring at him.
“Get out of here!” I ordered my Beta at once, grabbing Anna quickly and tackling her to the ground!
She roared, struggling to go after Arnold when he took to his heels. She was desperate to get him!
“Anna, snap out of it!” I roared back, using my strength to hold her down. But I wasn’t using everything to keep her down. I don’t want to hurt her.
Yet, Anna wasn’t ready to give in. It’s like she wasn’t hearing my voice any more!
I felt her body increasing underneath me in an abnormal way. When I lifted my eyes to look at her, I met Anna facing me already.
Shockingly, she gave me a kick in the chest, sending me flying right through the window of a closed shop nearby.
“Damn, that’s one powerful kick,” I groaned, rising to my feet, only to meet those yellow eyes looking right at me.
Seems her target has changed.
Anna wants me.
She didn’t make any attempt to go after Arnold but walked towards the shop where I was in, letting out a… A grin?
“Your body… It’s so strong.”
“Anna?” I was stunned to hear her speak to me in a deep seductive tone. It sounded like a mix of her real voice and another woman’s tone.
No, it’s not any other woman. It’s her wolf! That will explain the switch at the alley. Her beast is also affected by the drug and has taken over Anna’s senses.
“It’s exactly what I want. A man with such muscular physical hot body like yours,” She said, lowering down on the broken window, wagging her tail in excitement.
“That’s the kind of man I want, and I’m sure you have what it takes to please my hole,” She giggled, looking down at my trouser, hinting right at my cock.
“Just give me what I want, and I swear darling…” She lifted herself from where she leaned down, creating a cross on her chest for me to see. “I will go easy on you.”
She savoured her mouth with her tongue, getting really aroused.
Of course that’s the only thing she’d want now that she’s in the final stage, but I’m impressed with the way Anna’s wolf is responding to the drug in her blood.
It’s nothing like that Lady who died. Her own wolf went crazy, almost ripping anyone that came near her. But Anna is different. She sounds aware of what she’s doing.
Jeremy wasn’t wrong about her. She has a strong body.
“What’s it going to be, pretty boy? I don’t have all night. I really need a man to make me feel good,” She said, breathing out hungrily.
Her claws came resting down, using her strength to crack the wall slowly. She can’t hold on anymore. She wants to get in.
“Tell me, darling. Are you ready?” She asked softly, sounding horny.
Thinking about everything smartly, I said, bringing up a better suggestion to her, “If you really want to have me, how about you catch me first.”
“Oh, is that what you want?” She smirked, finding this interesting.
“Yes, if you can get me then…” I glanced at the window at the other side, before looking back at Anna. “I’ll give you the best night ever. How about that?”
“Now you’re speaking my language, darling,” She chuckled, adding more pressure to the wall.
“You better start running because when I get my hands on you, I won’t let you out of my sight!”
Suddenly, she broke the wall with her strength, creating a way for herself to get into the shop!
The moment I saw this, I dived out of the shop through the other window and began running into the road, keeping my distance away from Anna.
She was coming for me, and her pace was fascinating.
If I wanted to, I would have tackled Anna down, but after seeing how she battled with those men, I’m sure she’d fight back and get herself injured.
I don’t want anything to hurt her delicate skin nor do I want to leave a mark on her body.
It’s best I play this game and get her out of this pack before Damian learns of her whereabout.
In this state, she can’t be around any other man. I just need to buy Jeremy more time to get down here fast with the sleeping medicine before… “GOT YOU!!” Anna’s wolf pounced in my front, spreading her arms wide to grab me!
Swiftly, I dodged her arms, rolled over from below and ran ahead, increasing my speed!
“ARGHHH!” I heard her roar out angrily.
“That was close,” I breathed out, taking a quick look behind to see how hungrily this wolf ran after me.
“What if she actually gets me?” That question suddenly popped in my head, leaving me amused with my own mind.
Why will I think of that? I can get away from Anna without getting touched by her.
“But what if she gets me? Am I really going to have sex with her just to satisfy this intense hunger?” I asked myself, feeling strange.
My body was reacting to these questions in my head. I could feel my interest in Anna rising.
Sleeping with her will only lead to another problem for us. I’ll get infected and… Fuck, I’m so confused.
“Arnold,” I remembered my Beta while dodging Anna again. She almost caught me from the front but missed.
That increased her rage.
I took out my phone and dialled his line while going through an alley, leading Anna away from the open.
I have a plan.
I just hope Jeremy gets here fast.
