Kevin’s POV
“Kevin, what new insights did you gain from your trip to the Blue River Pack?” My father, Peter Allen, reclined on the couch, puffing on a cigar, inquiring.
I pursed my lips, clutching the wine glass in my hand, staring absent-mindedly at the swirling red wine.
The scene of Ella’s rejection to return with me haunted my mind, along with Luke’s smug face, leaving me utterly irritated.
“Reporting, Mr. Peter, we found Ariana Moore’s daughter, Ella, in the Blue River Pack. She’s currently working at the Royal Laboratory in Luna Manor, serving as a physician,” Beta Liam interjected.
I shot him a warning glare.
“Ella is alive?” My father stood up, pleasantly surprised. “Where is she? Did you bring her back?!”
“No, Mr. Peter, we intended to do so, but we were expelled from the Blue River Pack,” Liam seemed oblivious to my warning and continued.
“What?!” My father slammed the table. “Oscar Nelson, that old stubborn, dare to drive my son out of the Pack? Does he not respect our Blood Moon Pack?!”
I rubbed my temples, feeling a headache coming. Though my father usually idled away, unconcerned with Pack affairs, he had a good relationship with Ella’s mother since childhood, considering Ella as his own daughter. If he found out about this, it would backfire, and I was genuinely tired of his nagging.
“Now, Kevin, order your subordinates to bring Ella back from the Blue River Pack,” he commanded.
I set down my wine glass, wearing a grim expression. “Not possible at the moment.”
“Why?”
“Ella refuses to return with me to the Blood Moon Pack.” As I spoke this truth, a profound sense of melancholy engulfed me.
“She refuses to come back with you? Kevin, what do you mean?” My father looked bewildered.
I felt even more depressed, sat up, opened the door and left the study.
“Wait, Kevin, what the hell is your attitude!” my father roared behind me.
I ignored him, hurried to the garage, picked out a sports car, stepped on the accelerator and rushed to the Red Rose Club.
It was Friday, and the Red Rose Club was bustling with customers. Sitting at the VIP booth, I attracted many gazes from the sexy strippers, their seductive stares piercing through me.
Expressionless, I downed cocktails, attempting to quench the fire burning within me.
As I drank, drowning in my despair, all I could think of was Ella. Her rejection echoed in my mind, painfully reminding me of what I couldn’t have. But what fueled my anger wasn’t just her refusal; it was also Luke, that smug bastard, daring to vie for her affection.
Now, I realized Ella’s reluctance to accept me probably had something to do with that guy, Luke. She wore the moon necklace he gave her, indicating she cared for him. I knew I shouldn’t entertain such thoughts, but my mind kept reminding me of the possibility.
With another gulp, I tightened my grip on the glass, the amber liquid burning in my throat, failing to quench the flames within me. Images of Luke and Ella together taunted me, their intimacy mocking me. Jealousy tormented me, intensifying my anger with each passing moment.
“Hey, Kevin, you look troubled.” A male wolf in a blue sleeveless shirt, flanked by two sexy she-wolves, stood before me, his voice cutting through my thoughts.
“Get away!”
I raised my eyelids impatiently, and I recognized him. He was James, the son of one of our Pack elders. He had no ability, and his only interest was hanging out in various sex clubs.
I have always been most disdainful to play with this guy who has no boundaries, when I know he has slept with his stepmother.
“Come on, Kevin, don’t be so rigid. You disappeared for two months. What made you so excited?” James said flatteringly, and he and his female companions sat on the sofa opposite me without my consent.
Faced with the fear of his female companions, he provocatively put his hands into their breasts and pinched their breasts to comfort them, “Don’t be afraid, Kevin and I have a good relationship, I will take care of you.”
Then they looked at me shyly, full of desire and lust.
I half-leaned on the sofa lazily, without even looking at them, letting the wine flow down my throat and soak into my chest.
“Wow, Alpha Kevin looks so sexy when he’s drunk.” One of the female wolves exclaimed, staring greedily at my collarbone.
As she shook, her plump breasts also swayed, and the nipple tips in the middle were looming.
“Of course, Kevin’s sexiness is recognized by all the she-wolves in the Blood Moon Pack.” James said ambiguously, then turned to me, “Hey, Kevin, how about letting my two she-wolves relieve your boredom. Their sexual skills are very good. Okay, you’ll like it.”
I ignored James’s attempts at conversation and doused myself further in the alcohol, hoping it would numb the pain in my chest. To be honest, if it were me before, I might have joined them in having sex, but now I’m so annoyed that these vulgar women can’t even get into my eyes.
With a lustful smile, he gestured to the two she-wolves, silently inviting them to join me. They slid next to me, their perfume mixing with the heavy air of the club, boldly reaching out to touch me in a way I didn’t want.
“Come on, baby,” one of them whispered, her voice dripping with seduction as she ran her fingers along my arm. “Let us help you forget all your worries.”
“I told you, don’t bother me,” I growled, pushing them away.
But James just chuckled, with a sarcastic glint in his eyes, encouraging the she-wolves to persevere. Then the bolder female wolf untied buttons of my shirt and tried to kiss me.
Anger surged inside me, out of control like wildfire.
I swung my arm and the glass crashed to the floor, the sound of shattering echoing around the club. The she-wolves cried out in surprise and fell to the ground, their seduction suddenly halted.
But it was James who bore the brunt of the blow. I jumped at him without hesitation, raining down fists on him. Each attack was intensified by my mental image of Ella’s rejection and Luke’s bold advances.
The fight was chaotic, setting off a whirlwind of violence amidst the club’s deafening music and flashing lights. But in that moment, the most important thing was to release the long-suppressed anger within me, to unleash the satisfaction of venting against my tormentor.
“Oh, Alpha Kevin, please, please calm down…” I heard the voice of stopping, but I ignored it and punched James with my fist crazily.
