32. She’s Mine

Book:Rejected Silent Lone Wolf Published:2025-4-7

Kevin’s POV
After negotiating with Alpha Oscar and gaining freedom to enter and exit the Blue River Pack’s territory, I couldn’t wait to find Ella. I learned from a she-wolf that she was in the herb garden.
The herb garden was not far from the Alpha camp, about half an hour away. As Liam and I arrived at the herb garden, I couldn’t help but imagine Ella’s expression upon seeing me again so soon. Would she be surprised or embarrassed?
I found it amusing to think she probably didn’t expect me to sort things out with Alpha Oscar so quickly.
Thinking about this, I felt proud and joyful.
However, as I opened the gate to the garden, I witnessed this scene.
Two blue male wolves were fighting inside the fence, while Ella anxiously tried to break it up.
What the hell was going on?
I was completely puzzled.
When I caught the scent of one of the blue guys and realized it was identical to Luke’s, my pupils dilated with anger.
“Luke, Henry, please, stop fighting. You’re trampling the herbs, Luna will be upset,” Ella pleaded anxiously.
“Anna, please leave. This is a fight between brothers,” the blue wolf with a tuft of white fur on his head said to Ella, then he was pinned down by another blue wolf.
There was no doubt that the stronger fighter was Luke.
“Hey, Omega, after I beat up Henry, I’ll have a nice chat with you,” Luke said mockingly, then attacked Henry’s head with his front paw, causing him to roar and spit blood.
I frowned, feeling disgusted by Luke’s flirtatious tone with Ella.
“Henry,” Ella called out with concern, seeming to value the wolf named Henry greatly.
“Luke, Henry, I’m just a simple herbalist. Please don’t ruin your brotherhood for me. Stop and let’s talk it out.”
Suddenly, it dawned on me. Henry was another son of Alpha Oscar, and they were fighting because of Ella.
I felt uneasy about this revelation. Instantly, I transformed into a brown wolf and rushed over, biting Luke’s shoulder and slamming him against the wall. The pinned-down blue wolf took the chance to get up, cautiously watching me. Meanwhile, I raised my front paw and let out a loud howl, my wolf voice deep and commanding. Luke and the other male wolf were both stunned by my dominance, frozen for a moment.
“K-Kevin?” Ella was shocked, staring at me wide-eyed. “What are you doing here?” She seemed even more nervous now.
Ignoring her, as an Alpha driven by the primal instincts of mate possession, I was furious. What the hell had gone wrong with these two blue-furred idiots, fighting over someone else’s mate?!
“She’s mine!” I declared my dominance to the two male wolves, my blue eyes narrowing into a straight line, full of aggression.
Anger almost consumed my rationality.
Approaching Luke, I grabbed his wolf neck under everyone’s gaze. “Listen, I’m Kevin Allen, the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack. Anna is mine, my Luna. If you dare to show any disrespect to her again, I won’t hesitate to tear you apart.”
Luke stiffened his wolf body, seemingly sensing my murderous intent, and dared not move.
“Alpha, please calm down. Don’t forget the purpose of your visit here,” Beta Liam pulled me back.
I took a deep breath and released Luke.
Standing up and reverting to human form, I ignored the wolf named Henry, walked up to Ella, who still looked surprised. My expression softened, pretending not to know her identity.
“Anna, come with me.”
Ella and I left the herb garden, with Liam not following us. The path out of the yard was long, and we didn’t speak a word along the way, but Eric was very active in my head.
Kevin, congratulations, you have another rival for her affections.
I ignored it, but it continued.
This time you must behave properly. We went to great lengths to enter the Luna Estate of the Blue River Pack.

Do Alpha Oscar’s sons have some sort of problem? Peeping at our mate, don’t they have other she-wolves in the Blue River Pack?

Kevin, you must be vigilant, absolutely not allowing other male wolves a chance.
Eric kept babbling, my head buzzing. I immediately shut it up.
Ten minutes later, as we passed through a deserted path, Ella couldn’t help but complain.
“Kevin, are you insane? Revealing yourself as the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack in front of Luke and Henry, do you know who they are? They are Alpha Oscar’s sons, and it’s easy for them to investigate our relationship.”
“Also, I never agreed to become your Luna.”
She looked flustered, and I tried to suppress the jealousy brought on by those two blue wolves, comforting her.
“Ella, I understand your concerns, but I was too angry at the time, unable to control myself. You are my mate, and they fought in front of me for you, challenging my dignity as a man.”
I felt distressed, but I had to express myself.
“Your dignity? Kevin, all I see is your selfishness. You don’t know how important it is for me to stay in the Blue River Pack. If my identity is exposed, I’ll be expelled.”
Tears welled up in her eyes. I sighed, embracing her tenderly. “Ella, even if you’re not in the Blue River Pack, you can come back with me to the Blood Moon Pack. That’s where you belong.”
“I don’t want to go back, Kevin, and I can’t go back.” She pushed me away, her gaze firm, but I saw the vulnerability and pain underneath.
I realized my words brought back bad memories for her.
“Ella, whether you believe it or not, I just want you to be my wife, my Luna. I promised Beta Ariana that I would protect you. Even if you push me away countless times, I will come back.” I told her.
She froze, seemingly recalling something, struggling internally.
I began to anticipate her response.
Then her hazel eyes regained their composure, shaking her head. “Kevin, perhaps you do want me to be your Luna, but as you said, not out of love, but out of duty.”
“Duty?” I was puzzled, curious about what she meant.
“Yes, duty. My mother saved you, and she entrusted you with protecting me before she died. You took that as a duty. Kevin, if you loved me, you wouldn’t have rejected me five years ago.” Then she seemed to make a decision. “Kevin, I’ve thought it over. I forgive you. You don’t have to feel guilty anymore.”
I panicked immediately, understanding why Ella had always been unwilling to accept me. I wanted to say a lot, but I realized those were just empty words. I wouldn’t leave her. In the time to come, I would prove my love for her through actions.
