Book:Blind Date With Mr Arrogant Published:2025-3-31

TIFFANY’S POV
She walked out of the class hurriedly as she didn’t want to be late for the next class. She had asked Tiffany to go with her bag while she got her geography textbook and mathset from her locker.
She was not looking and before she could realize, she was already bumping into someone and the textbook and mathset fell on the floor with a thud.
“Can you watch where you are going to..?” She stopped as she looked up to see the new junior student.
“I’m so sorry, but you were not looking.” He said, bending to pick the books.
“It’s fine. I’m sorry I bumped into you.” She said taking the items from him.
“You don’t have to apologize. We all make mistakes.” He said.
“Okay, then. See you later.” She said and made to go. “Wait! Your shirt.” He suddenly said.
“What happened to my shirt?” She asked, Confused.
“The first button is undone.” He said, pointing at the button.
“Oh! Thank you so much.” She buttoned up and hurried away.
OSCAR’S POV
He hurried to his new hideouta secluded corner hidden between two large alcoves, an architectural oversight he had discovered a few days after he resumed school at shine.
He liked the fact that no one else knew about the place and it gave him the privacy he needed.
He took out his phone from his undies and dialed a number. “How is it coming up?” The person asked over the phone.
“I am progressing. We had an encounter a few minutes ago. I will keep initiating more encounters so I can get close to her.” Oscar said.
“Good. Be fast because we don’t have time.” And the line went off.
Tugging the phone away, and looking around to make sure no one was watching, he hurried away.
TIFFANY’S POV
“So are you going to tell me why you came to class late?” Freya said, while they had lunch at the cafeteria.
“Do you ever miss a detail?” Tiffany teased.
“No, I don’t. And you know it. So tell me.” Freya probed.
“It was nothing serious. I only bumped into that new junior student.” Tiffany said.
Just then, Oscar passed with a tray of food and offered them a friendly smile. “Do you mean this guy?” Freya asked.
“Yes.”
“What were you thinking?” Freya asked.
“I wasn’t thinking, okay? I just was not looking because I was in a haste.” Tiffany said, in a defensive tone.
Freya turned to look at Oscar and caught him staring at them. No, Tiffany. “I think that dude is into you.” Freya said.
“What do you mean?” Timothy asked, frowning.
“Can you not see? He is always staring at Tiffany. How are we sure he did not stage the whole bumping into him thing?” Freya said, turning to look at Oscar again, but this time, he was engrossed in his food.
“Freya! You are just being paranoid.” Tiffany said.
“Let’s change the topic, please.” Timothy suggested.
“Yes, please.” Tiffany concurred.
“Oh, well. The basketball team and cheerleading team are having issues again.” Freya said.
“Why?” Tiffany asked.
“It happened that Bryan is dating a girl in the cheerleading team and Mary felt insulted so she sent the girl out of the group.” Freya explained.
“Seriously? Who does that?” Tiffany asked.
“Mary Guevara!” Freya and Timothy chorused and they all burst into laughter.
MARY’S POV
“Go and drop the banana peels.” She said to one of her minions.
The girl left and came back a few minutes later. “Done.” She said.
“Have you sent the junior student?” Mary asked another minion.
“Yes.”
“Good. Let the drama unfold.
TIFFANY’S POV
She was in class with Freya laughing and talking because a teacher was not in class and it was their free period.
A junior student suddenly walked up to her. ” Senior, Tiffany, Mrs Blair asked me to call you.”
“Mrs Blair? Where is she?”
“In the staff’s office.” The junior replied.
“Thank you. Freya, I will be back.” She said, standing up.
“Do you want me to come with you?” Frey asked.
“No. I will be back before you know it. Don’t miss me!” Tiffany said and hurried out of the class.
She was in a hurry and did not notice the banana peels on the floor and by the time she noticed, she was already thrusted in the air and ready to fall. As she braced herself for the impact of her body hitting the floor, she felt something around her. An arm! Someone’s arm!
OSCAR’S POV
As usual, he followed Tiffany when he noticed her leaving her class with a junior student from his class.
The girl took the route back to class while Tiffany took the route to the staff’s office. He stealthily followed her and when he noticed the banana peels it was too late to ask her to watch out. He had hurriedly caught her in his arms before her body touched the floor.
“Ummm…thank you” She said, hurriedly getting off his body.
“You should be more careful.”
“I know, right? But why are there banana peels on the hallway floor? This never happens.” Tiffany asked, confused.
“I’m clueless as you. Maybe some recalcitrant students.” Oscar said.
“You shouldn’t be doing that. The cleaners will do it.” Tiffany quickly cautioned, when she noticed him bent and picking the banana peels.
“I know, right. But why wait for the cleaners and let another student fall victim?” He asked.
“You are right. I’m heading to the staff room, a teacher called me. I will tell the cleaners on my way back.” Tiffany said, hurrying away.
TIFFANY’S POV
She knocked on the staff’s office door, and was asked to come in. She politely greeted the teachers present before heading to Mrs Blair’s desk.
“Good day, Ma. You sent for me.” She said.
Mrs Blair took off her glasses and looked up from the scripts she was marking. “How is that possible? I never sent for you.”
“But, ma. A junior student came to my class to tell me that you sent for me.” Tiffany protested.
“I did not send for you, Miss Dion. Please, go back to class.” Mrs Blair said, putting on her glasses and returning her attention to the scripts.
Strange. Did the junior student prank her or did Mrs Blair forgot she sent for her?
She met Oscar on her way back” Did you see the teacher!” He asked.
“Yes, but I think I was pranked. Mrs Blair said she never sent for me.” Tiffany said.
“Now, that’s strange.” Oscar said.
“Exactly my thoughts. I’m going back to class. I will see you after.” Tiffany said walking away.
OSCAR’S POV
Everything was now beginning to make sense to him. The banana peels and the junior students’ prank was not a coincidence.
It was a bait to get Tiffany out of the class to the hallway so she could step on the banana peels and fall.
That only means one thing, someone else wanted to eliminate Tiffany. That person was in the school and he needed to know who.
MARY’S POV
She gnashed her teeth as she stood at a corner and watched a male student stop Tiffany from falling.
Who the hell was that? And why was in the hallway at that time? It irked her that Tiffany was always lucky.
“Who Is That?” She asked her minions.
“He is a new student in my class?” The junior student replied.
“I see. Does he know you and did he see you coming out of Tiffany’s class with her?”
“No he doesn’t know me, and I doubt he saw me.” The student replied.
“Good. You can go and keep your mouth shut. You know better than not to, right?” Mary asked menacingly.
“Yes.” The student replied.
“A quick reminder, if you run your mouth, I will make your sex tape go viral. Now, run along.” Mary ordered.
