Eve.
Oh my fucking God!!
There were white decorations everywhere and not to mention, it was filled with important people wearing purely white garb.
Jason and I were the only ones who stood out because we were wearing casual clothes.
At the front, there was a priest and everyone I knew was there.
Jason’s Mom.
Grandma Nini.
Jade and Patricia.
Max and Ethan? They didn’t even tell me they were back. Max and Ethan were spending some time with Ethan’s parents. Apparently, they were more accepting than Max’s family.
Even the twins, Declan and Damian weren’t left out from the surprise wedding ceremony.
Well, apart from my parents. I bet Jason knew inviting them would ruin this day.
I wonder how they haven’t changed from their bad ways all these while.
“Oh my goodness.” I said turning to face Jason.
“What do you think?”
“Do you like it?” Jason asked and I almost squealed.
“Like it?, I love it!” I said in a half yell. At Least not loud enough to draw attention to us.
I remained gobsmacked as I stared at the beautiful decorations, from the white lining on the walls to the beautiful flowers decorating the aisle. I could see everyone I knew waving at me with smiles on their faces.
This was.. wow!
“Oh my goodness!”
“Oh my!”
“Oh Jason!” I said with my voice thick with emotions as I wrapped my hands around his neck giving him the warmest hug in the world.
“I love you so so much but I haven’t done my hair and I can’t get married looking like this.” I mumbled as I buried my face in his neck.
“It’s fine, there’s a room at the back that you can change to and i called a stylist to help you out.” He said to me,
“What about my wedding dress?” I asked as I pulled away from him.
“You’ll see.” He mumbled.
“Thankyou.”
“Thank you so much, all of this looks amazing!” I said to him and he smiled.
“I’m glad you like it.” He said and then pointed at someone behind me.
“Eve, this is Stacy, she’ll help you with everything.” He said and I turned to face the said person.
God, she’s huge! I thought as I turned to face her.
I bet she’s six feets tall because she’s even taller than Jason and Jason is what people considered tall in my opinion.
“Don’t be nervous, I’ll take care of you.” She said flashing me a smile and I chuckled nervously.
More like, I’ll smack you if you misbehave.
“I know you’re worried.” She said as she led me to the room where I’ll be changing my dress.
“No, I’m not worried, you’re just really tall and it’s kinda intimidating.” I said truthfully and she laughed.
“It’s fine, I get that alot.” She said with a smile.
“I hope I didn’t hurt your feelings.” I mumbled quietly but loud enough for her to hear me.
“Oh, not at all.” She said, smiling at me and I felt relieved. I really didn’t want to spoil someone’s mood on a happy day like this.
” I must say, Jason really picked the right one.” I heard her mumble to herself and I couldn’t help but smile.
Soon we were in the room that I presumed was the one I’ll be changing in and boy, did it look amazing.
It looked exactly like those changing rooms in Korean dramas for celebrities.
You know with the lights on the mirror and all.
Some women were already waiting for us there and I’m guessing they’re the makeup artists.
“Your wedding dress is in that changing space, come back when you’re done.” Stacy said pointing at another door I didn’t notice was in the room because I was busy looking around.
“Okay.” I nodded and went ahead to change into my wedding dress.
And I must say that Cinderella doesn’t hold a candle to how beautiful my dress looks.
There was a box on the small table in the room and on it, there was a sticky note on top.
It read : I was reminded of our first wedding, you looked smoking in red.
I chuckled as I turned to look at the red wedding gown that Jason chose for me.
I couldn’t help but smile as I changed into the gown and wore the shoes.
After the twins were born, I thought our wedding would be postponed to when they were able to talk or walk atleast or that it would be cancelled all together but it wasn’t and I’m glad Jason was thoughtful enough to do this for me.
After changing into my clothes, I walked out of the changing room and I could see how the women in there looked at me in awe.
I bet they were jealous of me.
Soon, my hair was done and my makeup was flawless. I bet Jason paid a whopping sum of money to bring them here.
“It’s time.” Stacy said to me and I sighed nervously.
What if I trip and fall?
Oh my goodness!
Can I really do this?
Can I?
I couldn’t help but worry.
“It’s fine, you’ll do great.” Stacy said to me and I smiled at her.
What a nice person.
She handed me her handkerchief because my palms were sweaty.
“Thankyou.” I said returning it to her after use.
“Here.” She said, handing the bouquet to me and smiling at me.
“Thanks.” I mumbled as I gripped the bouquet with bruised force.
I opened the door that led to the reception and I found Max standing right outside the door wearing white suit.
“Are y-you the one g-getting married or m-me?” I tried to tease him but my voice failed me because I was hella nervous.
“The concept of this marriage is Red, you both are in red while the rest of us are in white.” Max said and i chuckled.
Typical Jason to be creative in times like this.
“So, are you ready to get married?” Max asked and i smiled and nodded.
Hell yes, I am!
I turned to face the altar where Jason stood in his Red tuxedo looking at me like I hung the sun. Like I am his everything.
I smiled as I put my arms in Max’s and walked down the aisle to meet him.
In no time, we arrived at the altar and I held the hand that Jason held out for me while Max kissed my cheeks before going to sit down with the twins.
I’m happy Max walked me down the aisle. After all, he’s been with me through every single problem I’ve faced.
Now Jason and I were standing face to face with smiles on our faces.
This is it.
I’m finally getting married.
Well, I’ve been married before but now, it has meaning.
“You look amazing.” Jason mouthed to me with admiration and I smiled.
“Thankyou.'” I mouthed back.
The guests sat down and the priest cleared his throat.
“Dear beloved, We’ve gathered here today too..” I wasn’t even listening to what the priest had to say anymore.
All my focus was on Jason who stood before me looking like a meal.
“You may say your vows..” the priest said and Jason was the first to speak.
“I know we met in the most unorthodox way, but I fell for you even before I knew it. There’s always some madness in love and loving someone means that you’re misunderstanding someone in your own way but I love you and it’s not a misunderstanding. You mean everything to me and I hope you know that with no doubt that I’ll do anything and everything for you and our kids.”
“And when they write the history of my life, I want them to write it with you and my love for you.” Jason said completing his vow and I was already in tears.
“History huh?, Bet we can make some.” I teased making the crowd laugh.
“I love you so much that when I see you, I have a tough time breathing and I feel like I’m walking in the clouds. I thought I wouldn’t have anything to say because I didn’t write down my vows before coming here but standing here and looking at you, I can’t help but profess my love to you. It’s like everything has been prepared in my heart and all that’s left is for me to say it. I love you Jason, you motivate me, you make me want to become a better version of myself, you’re my soulmate. I don’t think I can ever love anyone else as much as I love you.” I said as I focused on him.
It was like we were the only ones in that room because all I could see was him.
After we said our vows, the crowd stood up clapping and whistling and we both wasted no time in locking our lips even before the priest could continue.
“Seeing the reaction of the crowd, I doubt anybody wants to object and so I pronounce you, husband and wife.” The priest said and the applause became even louder than before while Jason and I continued to share a passionate kiss.
We didn’t even put on our wedding rings yet but hey! That’s not important here.
We’re just going to bask in each other and no one’s gonna ruin it.
