AMELIA.
After telling Ava I’d meet her in her house once I’m done with my errands, I got myself set for the witch’s cave.
I could only hope that I didn’t regret this; the moment I saw her, I didn’t mind kneeling to beg her and plead to let Dylan go and then give me my old body back.
I didn’t mind having that old body back because Dylan made it known that he liked my thighs; he also made that known by always touching my thighs or squeezing them.
So I would be okay if I went back to being the Fatso of the school.
I pulled into my parking spot, and after taking a while in the car to perform some breathing exercises, I opened the door and went out.
Please let this go well, I muttered to anyone listening in my head, but I could not help the feeling that there was a pending doom, which scared me.
I stopped thinking about it as I walked into the cave; I was not enamored by how the cave was right now, though it added to my fears, and I was bothered about other things. Other things like if she would accept my offer or if she would refuse.
The thoughts bothered me a whole lot.
I walked to the usual spot I used to stay in; I knew she would know I was there already. So I waited and waited for her. It’s been over twenty minutes that I’ve been standing here, and she still hasn’t shown up, which I know wasn’t normal.
Because all the time that I’ve come to this place, she has shown up in less than five minutes, and it got me wondering if she was intentionally late.
“I know you know that I’m here. Why don’t you just show up and let us not waste both of our times because I know you also have important things to do, and you wouldn’t want me to come in the way of that.” I called out to the empty space. I could even hear the echo my voice made.
I didn’t get any response, so I waited for another few seconds before I spoke up again.
“Please, just listen to what I have to say,” I begged her.
After a few minutes this time around, I felt air whooshing, and the leaves started moving to one side, and then, in another second, I saw her standing in front of me. Her countenance was totally different from those I had seen in the past, and it scared me.
She always welcomed me with a smile, and this time around, she had a massive scowl on her face; someone could tell that she was angry at me.
“Did you call me out here to watch me stand here?” She asked in a growl, her voice sounded powerful. It was very powerful and scared the hell out of me, but I held my ground and squared my shoulders.
“I came here because something has happened to me for the last few nights, and I’m scared. I’ve experienced it twice now.” I told her, and I could see the evil smirk on her face.
“And what might that be?” She asked me.
“I’m being choked in my sleep,” I told her, and she feigned surprise.
“Really? Why is that?” She asked. She was playing with me. I knew it, and it scared me as the second counted.
“Please, cut the act. You did me a huge favor, and I’m at fault because I went in unthinkingly. If you had told me the criteria for having the perfect body initially, I wouldn’t have even came close to you. But I was desperate, very desperate, for something different. I wanted to look perfect for myself, and I did. But I’m not comfortable with what you asked for. Dylan is my friend. You can’t make me bring him to you for sacrifice.” I said.
“I’m sure you’ll change your mind when you see what I have in store for you next.” She said with an evil smile.
“Well, that’s fine. I came here to make a deal. Please, take away your perfect body; I don’t want it anymore, and we would pretend like we never knew each other. Make me fat again, and I promise never to approach you again. I would have offered money, but like you said, you don’t need my money. Please take your body back.” I begged her, and she laughed.
“Oh darling, there’s nothing I can do about that. Your body is how it is now, and nothing can change that. I want Dylan; he’s so hot and handsome, and he is the types of guy I like, just bring him here, and it would be all over, okay?” She said, and I shook my head.
“You’re sure a whore, so you’re getting sucked in by the things he’s telling you now, eh?” She asked with a smile. I didn’t bother her because there was nothing she could tell me right then.
“Just take your body back, please,” I begged her.
“There’s nothing I can do, my darling. Just bring Dylan here, and you’ll be fine. I promise you.” She said.
“I’m not going to bring Dylan here; that’s why I’m telling you it’s better to find a middle ground right now,” I told her decisively.
“If that’s what you want to say, then watch your life become miserable. I’ll make you regret ever coming here and make Dylan’s life hell.” She said with a wicked smile on her face.
“Leave Dylan out of this; he knows nothing about it,” I pleaded. I was on the verge of tears because I realized we weren’t getting anywhere.
“I’m not leaving Dylan out of this; he’s the one I want.” She said and vanished.
I felt the tears come out now; I could not hold it in anymore. What was I going to do? How was I going to stop the witch? I asked myself.
I was in huge trouble. I thought to myself as I dragged my feet to my car.
