Book:Rejected And Banished with His Heir Published:2025-3-27

Killian’s POV.
“Is it true?” My mother suddenly blocked me through a corner immediately I walked into the house.
I hadn’t intended to leave Elena but I needed to take care of things, it was high time I put an end to Aragorn and restore her happiness as well as mine but rescuing our children. It would have been long solved if she had spoken up earlier but all the same, I was willing to show her a true indication of why she should trust me.
“Is it true that Elena was here on a mission to kill you?” She spoke up again.
“Mother…”
“And she’s having an affair with the Alpha of Greenwoods pack?” She cut me in abruptly.
“Wait what? Who fed you this information?” I chuckled amusedly.
“Elena took a death stab for me, she risked her life to save mine, does that portray the characteristics of someone who wants me dead?” I queried.
I watched as her eyelids twitched in confusion. “But Aria reported to me that Elena tried to kill you with the help of her lover, Darius?”
“Oh Aria never gets tired of tarnishing Elena’s name, I thought the last incidence must have taught her a lesson?” I growled.
“That doesn’t answer my question, young man, what exactly is going on?” She snapped.
“It’s a lot Mother, I’m not really disposed to have a conversation right now, but I promise to explain everything to you once I have it all under control,” I replied.
“Well, will you be okay?” She furrowed her brows at me.
I couldn’t hold back the smile that broke out on my face. This woman never fails to care for me like I was still that one year old baby that she had in her arms many years ago. “I will be fine Mother, you don’t have to worry,” I leaned forward to kiss her cheeks before walking past her towards the room.
I suddenly halted halfway across the passageway and turned back to face her.
“I have kids with Elena, by the way,” I broke the news to her.
I initially wanted to keep it a secret and make it a surprise but right now, I needed something to cheer her up and keep her happy till I was able to get the situation under control.
“What?” The corner of her lips tilted up in a confused smile.
“She was pregnant for me when I banished her years ago mother, Elena and I have a beautiful set of twins, Hero and Athena,” I couldn’t stop grinning sheepishly.
Surprisingly, she ran towards me and pulled me into a tight hug. “This is the best news I’ve heard for weeks,”
She broke the hug a short while later and stared into my face. “When will she bring them home? My grandchildren? When will I meet them? I can’t wait,” she squealed.
The wide smile on her face was so contagious that I couldn’t help my own smile.
Of course, it was the best news she had received in the past weeks, mother was obsessed with children, she literally wanted to have as many grandchildren as possible.
“You will see them ma, but not right now, things are a little bit complicated,” I replied.
“How complicated? I really want to meet them, I bet they will look so much like you,” she cooed happily.
Suddenly, the look on her face crumpled into a small frown. “hold on, why didn’t she initially bring them with her while returning at first? Are you sure they are yours? I really don’t want us to get our hopes up only to have them dashed to the mud,”
I chuckled lightly. Elena would never lie to me about something like that. I saw through her eyes, the sincerity in them couldn’t be mistaken.
“They are mine mother, Elena may have done a lot of things, but she is not a liar, she has never lied to me about anything and she’s not about to start now, I can swear on anything that the kids are mine,”
A wide smile spread out on her face again. “Awn, look at you, just like your father, you love so hard, I have never seen you love anyone the way you love Elena, she’s lucky, I hope she realizes that.”
“I am the lucky one mother,” I smiled, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. “I’m going to take a quick shower and take care of things, I can’t wait to bring my kids home,” I walked past her and headed towards my room.
“I can’t wait too,” she shouted after me.
*
I quickly rushed my shower, had a quick change of clothes, and dashed out of the house, with one direction on my head.
The pack’s cell.
I had entrusted Elena’s safety in the hands of the healers, until I had the situation sorted.
Right now, my main focus was Aragorn, and instead of my guards, I will be taking Darius with me, he brought himself to my pack.
“Alpha,” the cell warden bowed in respect as I walked into the premises.
“Lead me to him,”
I was too caught up in my situation to answer greetings or exchange pleasantries.
Walking into the dark cell room, He quickly charged towards me, but the restraints held him back to his position.
I could see the burning rage in his now blood coated eyes. “How dare you!” He growled bitterly. “You took away my parents from me, and now you have taken the woman that I love.”
I chuckled dryly, taking a step closer to him, I crouched to his level on the floor. “Not that I owe you any explanation, but Elena was never yours, her heart always belonged to me, you were just blind to it, or you deliberately chose to ignore it for your selfish reasons,” I spat.
“And your parents, I never had a hand in their death, they brought it upon themselves when they waged war against a superior pack,”
“They wouldn’t be so superior if you didn’t merge with them,”
“I didn’t have a choice, and I’m not fucking explaining anything to you!” I yelled, roughly grabbing his jaw, forcing him to look at me. “The only reason you are still alive is because Elena pleaded so hard on your behalf.”
I released him, standing back up, and straightened my cloth.
“Now, the little chit-chat is over, I am going to take down Aragorn and you are coming with me.”
