Desdemona’s POV.
“And how did you manage to have a friend in Cleveland? Last I remember, they said you have been in Chicago ever since the whole incident.” He sneered, still maintaining eye contact with me.
“Yeah, I bumped into him there in Chicago and why do you seem surprised?” I questioned as I smirked.
“I guess you haven’t been leaving a boring life in Chicago.” He smirked as he rolled his eyes. “So, what else did you manage to know about Rex?” He questioned as he looked at me.
“And why should I tell you?” I rolled my eyes as I looked at him. “You ignored me when I asked what relationship Collins has with Rex.” I snapped.
“Okay, fine!” He finally gave in as he parked the car at the left side of the road. “Yesterday was the founder’s banquet and Collins was also trying to find out something very important. There is a lady by name, Elena Toussaint who works in The Eleven and Rex King seems to be pretty much interested in her safety.” He mumbled.
“He pulled a deadly stunt on him last night but then, Rex King’s beta was one step ahead of us which meant, his plan never worked out and now, Rex King may now be another enemy he has to watch out for.” He muttered as he looked at me.
I smirked as I now understood everything. And once again, the name, “Elena Toussaint” rang in my head again. But this time around, what I still couldn’t understand was why Collins was also interested in finding out about her too.
“Collins seems to have a soft spot for her.” He said as he turned on the engine again.
“A soft spot for her?” I chuckled softly as I was now the only one with the completed puzzle.
“Rex King had abandoned Cleveland in the hands of his mother because of his wife, Elena Toussaint who lived here in New Kingston and Kingsley believes Rex must have found Elena and that means, the moment Kingsley finds out that Elena is still alive, he will most definitely make his way down here as well. But… But why?” I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked at the rearview as he was now focused on the road.
“He killed Kingsley’s mate and Kingsley would only be coming down here to avenge his mate’s death by killing Elena Toussaint, Rex’s mate!!” I grinned as I knew why Kingsley was that interested in finding Elena Toussaint.
All I was concerned with right now was meeting him facially once more and I was more than excited to find out the entire story and the moment I told him, he wouldn’t waste a single minute before rushing down here.
We finally got to The Eleven as he parked in the parking lot. “Don’t you want to come down?” He asked as he turned around.
“Maybe, we can just go back home, there is no need anymore.” I muttered as I looked at him.
“Are you okay?” He questioned calmly this time around.
“Yeah, yeah I am.” I stuttered as I forced out a smile on my face. “Or, why don’t you show me around New Kingston?” I said in a calm voice.
“Oh, okay then!” He smiled at me before reversing to drive out. “So, where do we go from here?” He asked as he was busy contemplating.
I took out my phone as I dropped an important text message for Kingsley.

Kingsley’s POV.
{Elena Toussaint is in New Kingston. And she is an employee under his hotel and resort}
I was in the middle of an ongoing executive meeting when Desdemona, my first one night stand lover, dropped an important SMS message for me.
Seeing her name pop up wasn’t as important as seeing Elena’s name pop up as well.
I quickly opened the full message as all I could feel right now was the excitement of my wolf who wouldn’t stop yipping in extreme joy.
I grinned as I looked at the message.
“Are you following us up, Sir?”
I raised my head up as I looked at them. “This meeting has been postponed. I have somewhere important to be.” I shrugged in a husky voice as I got up from my swivel chair.
I walked out immediately as I signaled Damon, my new pack warrior.
“Is everything alright, Kingsley?” He queried as he followed me closely from behind.
“Get the cars ready, we are leaving for New Kingston right away!!” I responded in a husky voice as I looked at him for a brief second before walking away.
And within a few minutes, I had my cars pulling out of the garage as 12 of my pack warriors were tagging along. It was going to be a twelve hour drive down to New Kingston but then, I was okay with that.
I had each boots, stocked up with rifles and I contacted McKinsey about my visit to New Kingston.
“Hello, longest time McKinsey.” I muttered as I lighted my cigarette.
“Yeah, why the sudden visit? Hope all is well?” He questioned.
“Yeah, I was just calling to have you tell Mr. Shepherd to make a smooth entrance for me. I am coming down for something important and security must be loaded.” I sneered as I smirked.
“Okay then, you have got nothing to worry about. I will contact the Shepherd family right away. Hope we get to welcome you for dinner?” He muttered.
“Most certainly, yes!” I said in a light hearted tone before ending the call.
I contacted my very old friend in New Kingston who quickly made a hotel reservation for me. I was only giving myself a week to get it all done and then, I left New Kingston for good after making us even.
Finally we got to New Kingston as we drove down to Helene Havens, an eight star hotel. We had booked the top floor which gave us a better view of New Kingston and from where I stood, right next to the swimming pool, I could see the shining light in The Eleven.
I smirked as I looked at the building. “It’s almost party time.” I grinned as I sipped my chilled vodka.
