ANASTASIA
“How long to the port?” I asked two of the guards who sat right in the car with me, heading for Diego’s destination.
I had to get them along in this mission, sharing my findings with them. I can’t do this alone without their help.
“It’s a seven hour drive,” They replied, glancing at me before facing the road again.
I gulped down worriedly, taking a look at the time on my phone. “By the time we get there, it’d be really dark,” I said, thinking about my Alpha Lord.
That asshole of a Beta called Xavier! I knew something wasn’t right about his so-called assistance. He wants to get my Alpha killed by the Mafias.
This is his way of paying Diego back for beating and keeping him locked up.
Damn him!
I feel so troubled knowing that I can’t reach Diego and Arnold. Their lines aren’t connecting.
“What do you plan on doing, Ma’am?” One of the guards asked from the front passenger seat.
“I… Um…” I uttered confusingly, having no idea on where to start from. All I could voice out from my mouth was my desire to stop that pervy wolf from harming Diego and the others.
“We need to find a way to enter that ground and prevent the attack,” I said, trying to be strong.
The guards heard this and glanced at me worriedly.
“This is a dangerous mission you’re getting yourself involved. Maybe you should leave this for us to handle on our own,” The guard behind the wheel suggested, increasing his speed when we drove out of Crescent finally.
“You don’t need to get yourself messy. We can handle…”
“No,” I interrupted, swaying my head at this idea. “I need to be there to help them from Xavier’s trap. I think…” I paused, getting avid to dive into this battle.
“I think I might have a way,” I believed, thinking about Woods.
The guards couldn’t say anything else to stop me from getting involved in this case. They just gave in to my decision and asked, “What’s the plan, Ma’am?”
For the first time, I could feel myself stepping into Diego’s shoes as the leader here.
They are just two, but they should do the trick.
“I’m thinking of something. Before we get there, I’m sure the plan would be set,” I said boldly, feeling a bit scared within.
The guards nodded, obeying my words.
I sat back in my seat, trying to cook up something. “What would Diego do?” I wondered to myself.
I know I had one part of my plan set already, but I’m trying to see what else would fit to make this a successful mission.
Gosh! Being a Mafia sure is hard. I need to be fast.
After driving for seven hours straight, my guards drove right into a forest and parked their vehicle in a hidden spot.
Before we got out, they corked their guns into their pockets and looked at me. I sat there at the back seat quietly, before they handed me a small pistol, asking, “Are you sure you can handle this?”
“Yeah, I can. There’s a time for everything. I’ve killed someone before and I can still do it again,” I gulped, hiding the gun at the side of my waist.
They asked if I was ready to carry out the mission, and… Goddess… I nodded at them, putting my Alpha’s safety in front.
“Let’s go,” I said, getting out of the car.
Sneakily on foot, we went deeper into the forest, hearing sounds of deep and loud horns blowing from ahead. That’s clearly the sound of a ship or maybe ships pulling into the port.
That means we’re getting close.
I could even pick the scent of sea nearby. It forced me to apply my speed along with the guards when suddenly, my men came to a stop, holding me back.
When their hands touched me on the arm to halt, my body shivered. I felt my itch reacting again!
“Crap! Not now!” I panicked in my mind, struggling to subdue the cravings.
One of them pointed ahead for me to see the figures of about two to three Mafia goons moving about in the woods.
Their eyes were shimmering in the dark, as they moved about, keeping alert on the environment.
They would have picked our scent by now, if my guards didn’t sprinkle something on our body to block the enemies from smelling us. But if I end up losing myself here, they won’t hesitate to spot us!
My body was itching. I had to look away from my men and tap them to take their hands off me.
When they looked at my face, they immediately grabbed the message.
“We’re sorry,” They apologized, still staring.
I had to hold in and give out an inaudible sigh, letting my urges slow down in my body, until… “I’m fine,” I said with a nod, getting myself back.
These forest dwellers soon walked away into a different spot to search around, so that gave us our opening to make our move quietly.
As we moved ahead carefully, we finally came into an opening with wired fences around. The area was so wide and large!
“Wow,” I reacted at the sight of the ship at this port. I could see a lot of vehicles pulling up close to start offloading the crates.
Vans, Fancy cars, Trucks… They were all parked for this fiesta.
It’s like the biggest delivery place for all the Mafias.
Everything looked like a peaceful operation being carried out by these devilish wolves, but… Where’s Diego?
“He has to be here somewhere. He said something about blending in,” I recalled, running my eyes through the little people moving to and fro, getting set to offload the drugs.
“It’s impossible to spot who is who from here. We’ll have to execute the plan,” I said, looking at my guards.
They nodded, making a move and heading towards the road that leads to the entrance of this port.
We noticed more vans were trooping into the place five minutes after the other, so as I planned, the guards succeeded in possessing one van and rendering the riders unconscious.
Then they slipped into their uniforms and drove right into the port.
“Oh Shit! It worked,” I smiled at this achievement, getting fired up.
The guards parked the van along with the others that came in and stepped out to fake a check on the vehicle, just to mislead the men passing by.
I wanted to step out when the coast was clear, but the guards stopped me, feeling this mission was too risky for me.
“Look, we know how mad the Alpha would get if anything happens to you. Just stay here and wait for us. We will search for them and immediately make the alert.”
“But I want…” They left before I could finish my words.
I grumbled at this and sat right there in the back, looking at the men we had stripped naked.
At the sight of their body… “No, this is bad,” I panicked, sensing the infection making a spark in me.
I crawled out from the back of the van and carefully made my way to a shed way behind the parked vehicles.
It looked unoccupied and easy to hide myself from the men moving around. But I never thought that spot would reveal something to me.
“You’re sure about this?”
“A hundred over hundred.”
I heard voices coming from the other side of this shed. It sounded familiar.
Drawing closer to the side and hiding myself, I took a peep and was stunned to see Xavier talking to a group of Mafia Bosses and… “Woods!” I recognized that bloody old man next to the Beta.
The sight of his face brought back flashes of his dominating grip on my body and attempt to mate with me.
In fact, I couldn’t stand his presence.
“The van he’s hiding inside has an X mark at the back, right at the upper left. I was the one who indicated it there so we can fish him out,” Xavier shared, exposing Diego’s hideout.
He told them about the operation and how Diego plans on blowing the East part of the port as a distraction, so that he and his men can hijack a loaded van and flee with the drugs.
“He wants to take you all out too,” Xavier added, smirking with pride.
When the Mafias heard this, they were filled with hunger to take out my Alpha Lord.
“Isn’t this enough to show that he’s the one attacking us? ”
“He hasn’t stopped hunting us. He wants to kill us all completely!”
“I say we bomb that vehicle and end him once and for all. That way we can rule peacefully and take over that pack of his as a sign of victory.”
They mumbled furiously, expressing their hate for my Diego.
Only one person among them, spoke calmly without yelling at the top of his voice. And that was Woods.
He hummed at the other’s plan for Diego, before saying, “We will do no bombing or shooting. All we need to do is capture Alpha Diego. I want that man to die slowly in our hold when we all unleash our wrath on him. He doesn’t deserve a quick death.”
They all loved Woods idea. Their hungry eyes said it all.
“That Wolf has something that belongs to me. Until I’ve gotten it, he will not be killed,” Woods said, smiling devilishly.
I know he’s talking about me. He wants to make me his sex doll!
And now that I think about my presence here at this place… “No, I didn’t make a mistake coming here. I did this for my Alpha. He’s able to handle this situation when he hears what they are planning,” I believed wholeheartedly.
Still troubled by this plan, I decided to trace this vehicle myself before they get to it.
Xavier was telling them about Arnold and the others roaming around as fake workers, planning to steal some of the drugs.
When they heard this, they decided to alert the guards to take position.
“We’ll lock all entrances and stop the operation. I’m sure they’ll step out when they see their Alpha is in danger,” Woods said, pulling out his phone to contact someone.
Without hesitating, I made my move, searching for this van Xavier marked with an X.
I need to alert Diego before they get to him, but where is the Van?!
There are so many of them here!
