Leila woke up with a terrible headache and it became worst when she smelled the rotten stench around her. She almost wanted to puke at that.
‘Damn it!’ She commented inside her head as she caught herself in heavy breathing.
She tried her best to open her heavy lids as she gritted her teeth because she couldn’t even do that easily. She closed her eyes again firmly trying to gather her sane thoughts.
‘What happened? Where the heck am I?’ She mentally asked herself.
She felt so dizzy as she tried collecting her own thoughts. Then, she realized that she was in Tammy’s house when someone knocked her out by making her smell something so strong before she went out of consciousness.
‘That might be some sort of a drug. But why?’ Leila inquired once again, bewildered.
She didn’t know who the heck did this to her. And if she wanted to know, she had to open her eyes and make sure to get out of here.
Leila tried her best to open her eyes for the second time. Her head was just too painful that it was like it’s splitting into two. However, she had to endure.
She looked around.
It was dark and the only thing that’s giving the place light were the torches outside the prison cell.
“What t-the-” It came out a low whisper.
Her throat was dry and couldn’t even speak those words properly.
But freaking damn! She was in a sh*tty prison cell!
Leila was in the middle of panicking.
“That won’t help you…” Silver’s voice resonated inside her head making her forehead creased.
However, she is right.
Panicking won’t do her good.
She had to calm down and think.
Fragments of what happened flashed in her mind. But she didn’t know whether it was real or not.

She remembered men talking around her as she felt like she was riding something.
“Master will be very happy, for sure…” An unfamiliar voice said.
Then, chuckles followed.
‘Master?’ She asked herself.
Then, she fell asleep again.

Leila gritted her teeth as she held it ignoring the stench around her. She didn’t even think about how filthy she was already because of lying on the cold and soiled floor. She even saw some rats lurking around.
She was more concern about where she was and what happened to her.

“Finally!” An odd and triumphant tone of voice uttered.
Then, a loud and joyous laugh resonated around.
Leila was trying to open her eyes but to no avail. Her eyers were already blindfolded. She felt the presence around but she was still groggy.
‘Where the heck I am?’ She asked herself but her lips were all dry.
Then, a strong presence moved towards her. She automatically swallowed hard.
‘Who is this?’ She couldn’t help but to ask inside her head.
But it just wouldn’t help her. It was like it was cracking making her want to just close her eyes and rest for a bit.
However, she wanted to know more.
A rough and calloused hand suddenly held her face. It was holding her eerily making her shut her eyes tightly.
Then, a loud bark of laughter resonated once again.
This time, it was making her shiver down her core.
“Finally… Leila… Finally…”

Those were the last words she heard before darkness took over her once again.
She knew that there were still a lot of things that he told her. However, she just couldn’t process everything. Her mind was in chaos. She couldn’t think properly because of whatever that those people who captured her made her smell.
Damn it!
‘What should I do now?’ She asked herself as she tried to gather all her sane thoughts.
And it seemed like even Silver was still processing everything that happened.
‘What do they want from her?’ There were a lot of things that was running into her mind that time.
And she didn’t even know how to answer them.
However, there was one thing that she knew that she had to do.
She had to escape.
But how?

Meanwhile…
The very moment Hunter decided to go to Tamika’s place, he knew that the fire building inside him to tell Leila everything was part of his goal.
It was a crucial moment that he let his emotions took over him while they were inside that barn.
He was damned and was caught off guard. He didn’t know how to react when Leila decided to finally end their relationship. He had forgotten about what his parents told him. He had forgotten about telling her his parents’ side.
Hunter let out a deep breath as he finally reached the place where Tamika asked her to go. He stopped near it. It was just a simple and small house.
He couldn’t stop himself from thinking about Leila and how she lived here.
Hunter was about to continue walking when a familiar woman stepped out of the house. Her expression was filled with so much concern something that he thought she wasn’t capable of.
The woman named Tamika clenched her jaw as she stopped in front of him.
He even looked behind her hoping to see someone he was longing to see.
“She is not here.”
Her voice became colder and creepier.
That made him look at her seriously.
‘What the heck did she just say?’ He asked himself scared to know that he heard her right.
However, it seemed like Tamika knew what was running into his mind.
She pursed her purple tinted lips tightly.
“Leila… She is gone. We have to find her… Someone took her…” She said dangerously.
His lips went ajar.
“What do you mean she’s gone? She isn’t there? She might go in the barn or somewhere. This is a secured place, right? How could someone get here easily?” He asked her one after the other.
His worry was to the sky already.
But Tamika shook her head.
“I went out the Southern Pack. This… This place can be visible to intruders. F*ck it…” She murmured the last words but enough for him to hear.
He shared the same curse inside his head.
“We have to find her soon… We have to…” Tamika uttered with pure resolve.
And Hunter’s forehead creased more at that.
It was as if there was more to her words… Something that made his heart filled with so much worry and restlessness.
