The high tone of his voice told her he is angry on the other side she refuses to be like her mother, sleeping with men to get this nice lifestyle it’s bad enough she’s sleeping with Bruno now he’s buying her expensive clothing too what does that make her.”Bruno you have to understand where I’m coming from.”

“I think it would be better if you leave. I don’t have to explain myself to you.”
“Running away from me or your past won’t help. I will find out the truth with or without you.”
“So now you gonna run a background check on me.”
“Maybe I should since you don’t wanna be honest with me.”
“Don’t meddle in my life Bruno. It’s mine. I hardly know anything about you but you don’t see me sticking my nose in it.”
“That’s because I have nothing to hide the same can’t be said for you. Unless if you’d like to tell me otherwise.”
“Bruno please respect my privacy. That’s all I’m asking.”
“I’ll do that if you take the dresses you liked the most. Not this one.”He put it back.”I don’t like it.”
The ones she likes cost more, it’s too much she won’t be able to afford it, so she had taken something else clearly Bruno has seen through her as always.”Well I do.”The look he threw in her direction told her she can’t fool him, one by one he began to take off the dresses she favored the most, soon all five of them were in his hands, Sage is surprised that he took exactly the same dresses she wanted, the ones she silently prayed to own one day.
“I like them all. Including this one.”He added another blue evening gown.”Your eyes speak a thousand words beautiful.”
“Bruno I ca-…”She kept quiet when he threw her a warning look. He called the women back and told them which dresses she has chosen the bill must be send to him and the clothes to her, soon they were gone and she and Bruno were alone.
“We’ll be leaving at eight. Get the boys and let’s go.”
“Go where.”She asked.”I still need to get ready.”
“You’ll do that at my place.”He came over to where she was standing one hand slid around her neck, the other came to cup her cheek.”You can spend the night at my house tonight, when last did I have you in my bed naked. Margarita will take good care of the boys.”
Of that she has no doubt.”I know she will. The two of you share a close bond and her English is good.”
“She’s been with us since we were young. When I look at her I see a mother I’m the one who taught her English, everyday after school she would sit with me while I do my English homework she’d ask me things and I’d help her. Having her in our lives were a godsend it still is because she talks and gives me sound advice like a mother would her son, and if I’m troubled or unsure of certain matters I go to her. She never let me down for that I’ll always be grateful to her.
“Does she have kids of her own.”Sage asked.”Any family.”
“She did have, one day the house they were living in caught fire her husband and two daughters were inside when the house burned, Margarita had been at work when it all had happened. Their children had been seven and five years old, after the incident she’s never been the same I can see she still yearns for her family she misses them dearly. There are days when she sits alone and cry silently thinking I’m not there but I am, my heart feels for her. Ever since the boys came she’s been different, in a way they are filling that hole she has inside her lessening the hurt of losing her own kids she loves spending time with them and looking after them, having them there makes her have something to look forward to.”
“It’s so sad what happened to her family.”Sage said.”The pain and suffering she must’ve went through. Maybe Liam and Logan can visit without me being there I trust that Margarita will take good care of them.”
“Why without you?”
“We need to stop this Bruno, before you gonna get tired of me and I’ll be the one left heartbroken.”
“That won’t happen.”He said giving her a light kiss.”I’ll never get tired of you.”
“You just saying that.”Sage slid her own arms around him she loves being in his arms, being held by him.
“You want me.”He asked, gently nibbling on her bottom lip.
“I do.”She answered truthfully.”But Liam and Logan are awake, I also have to give them their shots. Their shots!”She said again.”I forgot it’s all your fault every time you around me everything else comes second.”
“Before I ravish you let me go fetch them. We need to leave.”Bruno helped her in giving them their shots not long after they all left. Margarita welcomed them with opened arms as always the boys dinner was already prepared all they have to do is eat then it’s bed time. Sage went to take a bath after leaving Liam and Logan in Margarita’s hands Bruno told her to use his room to get ready Sage knew what his actual intention is behind asking her to bath in his room hardly five minutes has passed with her being in the shower when he came to join her. She’ll never get tired of seeing his naked, sexy body the man is perfect.
From head to toe and if someone had told her a few years earlier that she’d be eating this hunk of a man she wouldn’t have believed them. Never in a million years would she have thought a man like Bruno would want her. Sage wore the silver satin mermaid dress, it was backless with thin spaghetti straps the dress clung onto her like a second skin, it required her not to wear a bra Sage is glad she isn’t breast feeding she doesn’t even want to picture the disaster that would’ve followed if she’d still been breastfeeding, having milk leak all over this beautiful gown would’ve been a disaster indeed, black ankle straps heels are on her feet, her hair she let loose and swept to one side of her face when it comes to applying make-up it wasn’t one of her strong points she never did prefer to wear it and she still doesn’t hopefully the little she did apply would suffice for the night. Bruno came walking out of his closet wearing a black suit, white shirt and black leather shoes, his hair neatly combed. He came over to her and ask she put on his cuff links, she did his alpha male dominance surrounded her making her giddy and weakening her knees she’s surprised her hands are so steady while her entire body was on edge.
“Men will surely envy me tonight.”He told her, pulling her into his arms.”You look beautiful.”
“And you look handsome.”He smiled at her words.
“Ready to go?”He asked going to put on his jacket.
“Not really. I wasn’t looking forward in going out in public especially with a man of your caliber. I’m not cut out for a life that’s being lived in the public eye.”
“I don’t live in the public eye Sage. People stick their noses in my personal business I guess it comes with being successful.”
“If I’m seen with you they’ll think I’m your new lover. I don’t want that.”
“Then we’ll tell them you’re my fiance.”
