Chapter 98

Book:Her Ruthless Daddy Published:2025-3-13

BONNIE
Bonnie looked over at Daddy Ray. He was sitting on the coffee table in front of them, staring at her. She was absolutely exhausted and didn’t want to have a talk right now. “I’m tired,” she whispered. “Can we talk later?” “No, we can’t,” Daddy replied.
“Please? You can give me the lecture later but I’m exhausted and probably won’t be able to retain any of what you say.”
She was exhausted, but she wasn’t so tired she couldn’t listen. Bonnie just hoped it worked so he would forget about the lecture.
Daddy stood up with her in his arms and carefully placed her back down on the couch. He knelt in front of her and gripped her chin.
“Nice try,” he said. “I’m not falling for that. I’m going to get you something to drink, and then we’re going to sit down and talk.”
She opened her mouth to say something, but he quickly let go of her chin and placed his finger over her mouth. She got what he was saying. No arguing with him. Would she ever be able to argue with him or was he always going to shut her up?
Daddy got up and walked away. Bonnie was not happy. Crossing her arms, she looked over at Daddy Ray. He looked amused. Why did they have to have a discussion? Why couldn’t they just call it even and leave it at that?
“I would pay attention the first time, so you don’t have to hear it again,” Daddy Ray said. “His lectures can get really long. Don’t want to have to go through it twice.”
Her eyes went wide. How long was this talk going to be? Could he go on for hours and hours? Were they going to be here long? She had no clue what time it was, but it surely had to be close to her bedtime.
“What time is it?” she asked.
“Close to eleven at night,” he replied.
Yep. Way past her bedtime. Well, the bedtime Daddy and Daddy Ray gave her. Yeah, they didn’t like it when she told them she stayed up late with her brother. Once they heard, they’d immediately given her a bedtime.
Bonnie had followed it, but she didn’t know why. They left when it came around, but they never came back until the morning. She could have lied and stayed up later, but she hadn’t wanted to disobey them. She didn’t want to get caught and have to deal with her punishment.
“I can see and hear those wheels turning in your head,” Daddy Ray said.
“Are you okay?”
She nodded her head but Daddy Ray gave her a pointed look.
Sighing, she closed her eyes for a brief second. “Just thinking,” she quietly replied.
“Thinking about what?”
“The past couple of days before everything happened.”
Bonnie didn’t really want to elaborate on it. She wanted to forget and move on.
“Not good enough, Little girl.”
“Why?” she asked, giving him attitude.
Daddy Ray raised his eyebrow and she started to squirm on the couch. Shit. She could not sit or stand still when Daddy or Daddy Ray did the eyebrow Dom thing. It made her nervous.
“You know why, Little girl,” he said. “You don’t keep secrets from us.”
Guilt filled her. She’d lied to them earlier by keeping what her brother asked her to do a secret. Why couldn’t she have just gone to them in the beginning? Would that have solved anything or would it have just brought the timeline up?
“I was just thinking about the stupid bedtime rule and how I wished it applied today,” she mumbled.
“Ah, you aren’t getting away from the talk that easily,” Daddy Ray said.
“Nice try, but the talk is happening whether you want it or not.” Yeah, she knew that. It absolutely sucked.
“I want you to drink this while I talk,” Daddy said as he walked into the room. “Chocolate milk and water. You’ll be drinking the water first and then you can have the chocolate milk.”
Bonnie frowned as he handed her the sippy cup filled with water. She would much rather have the chocolate milk and leave the water to never be drunk.
“Any pouting and you can have two sippy cups full of water and no chocolate milk,” Daddy said.
“Sorry,” she whispered. “Thank you.”
Bonnie didn’t want her chocolate milk taken away. She would just have to make sure to drink the water fast so she can get to the chocolate milk. Then savor the taste while he lectured her.
“I want you to drink both of them. You need the water to hydrate yourself and the chocolate milk to get some protein in you,” Daddy said, sitting down next to Daddy Ray. Daddy Ray went to move, but Daddy held onto his thigh. “Not today. You can sit here with me.”
Her eyebrows rose up. Where was Daddy Ray going to sit? Was he coming over to sit next to her?
“He was coming to sit down at my feet,” Daddy said. “We’ll talk about that later.”
She’d heard of subs sitting at their Doms feet. Did Daddy Ray do that for Daddy? It intrigued her.
“I think I just needs the chocolate milk,” Bonnie said, changing the subject. “No waters for me.”
“Oh yes, you are drinking water,” Daddy said.
“There is no way out of drinking the water,” Daddy Ray chimed in. “You need it, desperately.”
Bonnie slumped on the couch and started to drink. It tasted nasty. No one should be forced to drink water. Everyone should be able to drink chocolate milk and orange juice. Nothing else. Maybe if she was president of the world, she could make that a rule.
She giggled at the thought. Oh, wouldn’t that be glorious? Daddies not being able to tell their Littles to drink water. That would be amazing and totally worth it.
“Do we want to know why you’re giggling like a mad woman?” Daddy Ray asked.
“I’m gonna be president of the world and make it a rule you can only drink chocolate milk and orange juice. No icky water,” she replied.
“Good luck with that, Little One,” Daddy said. “Now, onto the talk. Why did you start the fire?”
She rolled her eyes and took a sip of her water. “Don’t you already know since you looked through the video feed?”
Before she knew what was happening, Daddy was gripping her chin with his fingers.
“Don’t fucking be smart with me right now. I’m not in the mood,” Daddy calmly said. “I’m this close to not following Angelo’s suggestion and spanking you for what you did.”
Her eyes went wide and she nodded her head. Right. Don’t mess around and be smart with Daddy right now. She should have known that.
“Sorry,” she whispered.
Bonnie hadn’t realized how close he was to losing it. How had she missed those cues? Probably because she wasn’t being observant like she should be.
“Now, why did you start the fire?” Daddy asked as he sat back down.
“Because I needed a way to get out of the house. Everything only unlocks when you open the door,” Bonnie replied. “And only if you don’t
lock it after. I knew it had to be something significant.”
“Why were you running away?”
He was really going to make her say everything, even though he already knew the answers.
“To get away from you two. You didn’t want me anymore,” she whispered.
Bonnie was worried they were going to think her reasons were dumb. But to her they were all valid.
“Can you elaborate on that? Why did you think we didn’t want you anymore?” Daddy Ray asked.
Tears filled her eyes as she looked at both of them. They seemed so calm but she knew they had to be mad and disappointed.
“You left and didn’t reply to me. Rogan told me to stop messaging him,” she said, explaining it all over again. “I was mad and didn’t want to be stuck here as a prisoner or worse, have you take me back to the basement. You didn’t believe me about what I said about my brother. I was worried you were going to come back and tell me you didn’t want me and were going to lock me up. It’s no way to live.”
“I didn’t mean for you to go through that. Like I said before, I just didn’t want to say something I would regret. I should have told you to give me time, but I didn’t and I’m sorry,” Daddy said. “I have no good excuse for what I did. You had given me a lot to think about and I needed time to process it.”
He had to process it. That made sense, but he could have told her. What happened to communication was key to the relationship? He’d told her several times that with three people, they needed to have good communication.
“I’m still mad at you,” she said.
“I know you are and you have every right to be mad at me. I’m going to make it up to you no matter how long it takes,” Daddy said.
She turned her eyes to Daddy Ray. “Don’t think I’m not mad at you either.”
“What did I do?” he asked.
Did he really not know?
“You told me you were going to talk to him. You said you were going to message me, but you didn’t. You made me just as worried and made me feel like you didn’t want me anymore. I texted you several times.”
Daddy Ray looked down at his feet. “I know I messed up as well. I have no excuse for that. And I will be trying to make it up to you. You deserve that.”
Bonnie relaxed on the couch and nodded her head. She was glad they knew she wouldn’t be forgiving them right away. What they had done and what they had made her feel was hard.
“Do you wish to say anything else before we move on?” Daddy asked.
She thought about it for a second. Did she?
“How you feel or felt that you want us to know?”
“I was mad and still kind of am,” she whispered. “It hurt a lot.” They each grabbed one of her hands and squeezed.
“And we’ll be making up for it,” Daddy Ray said.
She squeezed back. Even though they already knew, she’d needed to get it off of her chest and right now was the perfect opportunity.
“Now, let’s talk about you,” Daddy said.
She looked over at him and nodded her head. Bonnie knew it was coming and it was better to just get it over with.
“You should have waited for us to come back,” Daddy said. “And I know you thought we wouldn’t listen and were going to put you in the basement, but one of us would have listened. Even if it was Lucius or Angelo. They would have gotten through to us eventually.”
Part of Bonnie knew she should have waited and tried to talk to them about everything. But the worry of them not listening and hurting her was at the forefront of her mind.
“I thought you were going to hurt me because I was a traitor,” she gently said.
“We always look into things before we hurt people,” Daddy replied.
“We would have seen that you were telling the truth.”
“Especially after Daddy listened to the recording of your two talks with Ethan,” Daddy Ray added.
Her eyes went wide and she looked at Daddy. He had their conversations recorded? Why hadn’t she thought about that? He probably also had the texts messages saved on some server so he could read them at any point.
“I wasn’t going to listen to them unless I absolutely needed to,” Daddy said. “I wanted you to trust me that you could call your brother and could come to me for anything. I promise I haven’t listened to them.”
Bonnie sagged into the couch. She wouldn’t have known even if he had. Unless he told her.
“And I want you to still be able to do that. Will they still be recorded? Absolutely, but only for your safety,” Daddy said. “I will only listen to them if I absolutely need to, which I hope to never have to do.”
She nodded her head and closed her eyes for a moment. She was getting more tired by the second. How much longer were they going to talk for?
“I also want you to know, setting the fire was a very naughty thing to do,” Daddy Ray said.
Her eyes popped open. Bonnie was not expecting him to say that. Daddy? Sure, but not Daddy Ray.
“It was naughty. You know you aren’t allowed to play with fire,” Daddy scolded her.
“You can’t get me into trouble for that!” She raised her voice.
“And why not?” Daddy raised his eyebrow at her.
She shrunk into the couch. Her reasoning was pretty good, but would he think that? Daddy and Daddy Ray seemed to think some of her reasonings weren’t great.
“We’re waiting,” Daddy Ray said.
“Because I thought you were giving me up as your Little! How was I supposed to know the rules still applied at that moment?” she asked. “You both stormed out.”
“I did not storm out,” Daddy Ray said.
“And it’s not a good enough reason,” Daddy replied.
“How? I think it is.”
Both of them stared at her. Were they going to make her explain things to them? She thought they were smart enough to realize what she was talking about.
“I thought the deal of us being in a dynamic was off. I knew I had to leave because I didn’t want to be around you two and not have what we had. I was just doing anything necessary to get away,” she explained. “I bet you would have done the same thing if you were in my shoes.”
Daddy Ray sighed and nodded his head. So maybe she was getting to one of them.
Daddy gripped her chin with his fingers. “This one time you’ll get away with it since there was a huge miscommunication. Don’t get used to it though. Next time you try a stunt like this, you won’t be able to sit for a week. Am I clear?”
“Yes, Daddy.”
