Chapter 92

Book:Her Ruthless Daddy Published:2025-3-13

ROGAN
All three of them were currently working on the puzzle. Raynar had arrived several minutes ago. Bonnie had acted a little shy in the beginning but as they started working on the puzzle, she relaxed.
Rogan didn’t know why she got all shy around Raynar. She’d mentioned she hadn’t shown her Little side to many people, but Rogan thought there might be another reason.
He watched as Raynar and Bonnie each picked up a piece and tried to fit it in the puzzle.
“I think we should do the outline first,” Raynar gently said.
“No, Daddy Ray,” Bonnie replied.
Rogan loved hearing Bonnie call Raynar ‘Daddy Ray’. It fit him so much better than Papa.
“And why not?” Rogan asked.
“Because that’s no funs.”
Raynar and Rogan both lifted up an eyebrow.
“And why do you say that?” Raynar asked.
“Don’t you know?” She sighed. “I guess you wouldn’t.”
“Why do you say that?”
“Because it’s obvious you haven’t done puzzles before. Only the puzzle masters do the outline. We aren’t puzzle masters, especially you two.” “Brat,” Raynar said.
Bonnie gasped and narrowed her eyes at him. “I is not a brat!”
“Of course you are! What do you call what you just did?”
“Telling the truth?” She gave him a small smile.
Rogan snorted and shook his head.
“Daddy,” Raynar turned toward him. “Did you just hear her?”
“Definitely did,” Rogan replied. “And I’m inclined to agree with Daddy Ray on this.”
The look Bonnie gave him when she realized he didn’t say her name was priceless. She was totally expecting Rogan to tell Raynar he agreed with her.
“Daddy!” she whined.
“No whining,” he reminded her.
She stuck her lip out and looked down.
“No pouting either,” Raynar said.
Rogan started to zone out as they both talked back and forth. How was he going to tell Hedda about Bonnie? She’d already seen Bonnie and no doubt had questions about who she was. Rogan hadn’t gotten any messages asking about her yet. Her Daddies probably told her not to ask, which he was grateful for.
He needed to wrap his brain around everything. Rogan wasn’t embarrassed about having Bonnie as his Little, but he also had Raynar and would need to explain that. He just needed to figure out the right time he could sit down and have a talk with his sister. Where both Raynar and Bonnie could also be present.
Rogan picked up a puzzle piece and put it together with another one.
“Daddy,” Bonnie whispered.
“Yes, Bon?” he replied and looked at her.
She was staring at him with huge eyes. “You got a piece!” She sounded so shocked and in awe.
“I did. You’ve gotten several.”
“But you’ve gotten more,” she pointed out. “I want to be like you.
Almost a puzzle master.”
Rogan couldn’t help but chuckle. He bent over and kissed her forehead.
“Maybe if you watch Daddy closely you can figure out his secret,” Raynar said. “Take his advice about doing the border first.”
“No, Daddy Ray. We can’t do that. We aren’t puzzle masters yet,” she replied.
He looked over at Raynar to see him fighting back a smile.
“And how does one become a puzzle master?” Raynar asked.
Bonnie shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t know. You would need to ask a puzzle master that question.”
“And where would one find a puzzle master?” Rogan asked. “Maybe I can find one and we can ask.”
“I don’t know Daddy. I’m just a Little girl. I don’t know things.” “But you know about puzzle masters,” he pointed out.
“Everyone knows about puzzle masters. You can watch them online or on TV sometimes. Competitions to see who can do it the fastests.”
Before Raynar or Rogan could reply, her phone started to go off. Rogan’s eyebrows went up. Who was calling her?
Bonnie went pale and quickly grabbed it. She got off of the floor, answered the phone, and walked to the other side of the room.
“Who is calling her?” Raynar asked.
Rogan pulled out his phone and pulled open the app. Ethan.
“Her brother,” he replied.
“You let her call her brother?” Raynar sounded shocked.
“Yes, I did. The phone is encrypted to where he can’t find out where her location is, no matter how much he tries.”
Rogan could pull up the app and hear what they were saying to each other, but he wanted to gain her trust.
“Can you figure out what she’s saying?” Raynar asked.
“I can, but I’m not going to. I need her to trust me, and I need to trust her. Though, if I need to, I can listen to it whenever I want,” Rogan replied.
Both of them watched her whisper into her phone. She looked pale and worried. Rogan didn’t like it at all.
“Something is up,” Raynar said.
“Oh, I know that. She called him the first time a couple of days ago and was jumpy after,” Rogan replied.
“Why do you allow her to talk to him? He is your enemy and all.”
Rogan sighed. “I need her to see that she can talk to him while being with me. As much as I would want her to have no contact with him, I can’t do that. They are siblings and are close. I would hate it if someone did that to me with Hedda.”
“What if she’s telling him secrets?”
“She doesn’t know any secrets and I know she isn’t. While she doesn’t want to go against her brother, she doesn’t want to go against me either.” Rogan didn’t like that and he was going to fix it. He didn’t want to put her in a tough situation to choose between her brother or him.
“What are you going to do about… everything?” Raynar asked.
“I’m trying to set up a meeting with him, but he’s not replying to me,” Rogan replied. “But I’m persistent. We’re going to figure this out because
I’m not letting her go.”
Bonnie turned toward them, still on the phone. Her free hand was shaking and she balled it into a fist when she realized both of them were looking.
“Whatever he’s saying to her is making her anxious,” Raynar said. “I don’t like it.”
“We’ll figure out what it is. Don’t worry,” Rogan replied.
Bonnie put the phone down and slowly walked toward them. She wasn’t looking either one of them in the eyes. What could Ethan have possibly said to her to make her act this way?
“What did you brother want?” Rogan asked.
She didn’t look up at him.
His eyebrows went up as her whole body started to shake. Something was definitely wrong.
“Come here, Bon,” Rogan said. “Come sit in my lap so I can help you calm down.”
Bonnie hesitated and slowly looked up at him. She shook her head, and she had tears in her eyes. Rogan hated to see her like this.
“What did your brother want?” Raynar gently asked.
“We’re not going to be angry, no matter what he said,” Rogan added, even though it likely wasn’t true. It was going to be hard not to get angry if Ethan did something bad. But he was going to try for her.
“I want you to know the phone is untraceable. So Ethan can’t figure out where you are. I’m keeping you safe, but you can still talk to him,” Rogan said.
Bonnie shook her head and took a step back.
“You’re okay,” Raynar said. “You’re safe here.”
She shook her head again, even more tears filling her eyes. Everything in Rogan wanted to tell her to stop crying, but he held it back. It was not the time right now. Whatever Ethan said to her was scaring her.
“Bonnie,” he gently coaxed, “you’re okay. Everything is going to be okay. Can you tell me what Ethan said?”
She took a shaky breath in and looked him in the eyes. He could see how scared she was and he didn’t like that.
“Did Ethan threaten you?” Rogan asked. “If he did, I can make sure he never finds you. I can get revenge on him if you want. Just let me know.” She shook her head. “He wanted me to spy on you.”
BONNIE
He wanted me to spy on you,” she whispered.
Daddy’s eyes went wide as he stared at her. Bonnie knew it wasn’t a good idea and she tried to tell Ethan, but he wouldn’t
listen. Ethan was hell-bent on her spying for him.
“What did you say?” Raynar asked.
“Ethan wanted me to spy on Daddy,” she whispered once again. “I told him no. You’ve got to believe me. I really did tell him twice that I wasn’t going to spy on you. I don’t want to.”
She stared at both Daddy and Daddy Ray. Both of them wore stunned expressions. Were they going to say anything? Or were they just going to continue to stare at her?
“The past couple of weeks have been amazing for me and I don’t want to spy on you. I told Ethan so many times. I texted him and tried to call him,” she blurted out, tears streaming down her face. “You have to believe me. I promise I told him no. I don’t want to do it and I’m not going to do it.”
Daddy continued to stare at her. Was he trying to figure out if he could believe her or not? Or had he already made up his mind and he wasn’t going to have anything to do with her?
“Daddy. I promise I didn’t tell him anything. You’re an amazing person, an amazing Daddy to me,” Bonnie declared. “Ethan was so wrong about you. You aren’t a bad person like he said. I told Ethan to talk to you about
things because some things aren’t adding up.” Neither one of them said anything.
“Ethan said you killed some of his men and he’s angry about it. I told him to talk to you, because maybe there is something you both don’t know. Maybe it was for a good reason,” Bonnie tried to explain. She hoped either one of them would say anything.
“His men took some of my men’s women and sisters,” Daddy slowly said. “That is unacceptable. We don’t bring innocent women into these things.”
Her eyes went wide and her mouth hung open.
“C-can you say th-that again?” she whispered, sure she wasn’t hearing him right.
Daddy growled and glared at her.
Bonnie flinched but she hoped he would say it again.
“Ethan’s men tried to kidnap the Little of one of my men, and another’s sister. It is unacceptable and shouldn’t have happened.” Daddy’s voice was void of any emotion. “He kidnapped one of them and hurt them. The other one had abused the sister very badly for years.”
“My brother doesn’t talk to me about much, but I heard about you killing some of his men,” she said more to herself. “Ethan thought it was for no reason and not because the men were trying to kidnap and abuse innocent women.”
There was a miscommunication here between Daddy and her brother.
Everything could be resolved by explaining this.
“Don’t fucking lie to me,” Daddy growled.
“I’m not. My brother doesn’t like to bring innocent women or kids into things. He doesn’t want to hurt them at all,” Bonnie said.
Ethan had told her that much. He wanted her to know, while he did bad things and she couldn’t know about them, he didn’t hurt innocent people. It was against his moral code. She was shocked because some of the things she’d heard about Ethan said otherwise, but she trusted him and she knew he wouldn’t lie to her about something this important.
“What you’re saying is a lie!” Daddy yelled. “I’ve heard things about Ethan hurting women who were innocent.”
“Ethan has heard things about you. I was innocent and your men hurt me,” Bonnie said. “What do you say about that?”
Daddy glared at her. Raynar was looking between both of them, staying silent.
“I promise that what you’ve heard about Ethan hurting innocent women and children is wrong. I don’t know much about what my brother does, but he promised me he doesn’t hurt innocent women and children,” she explained.
Daddy chuckled and shook his head. “How are you so sure when you just said you don’t know much about what he does? He could hurt innocent women and children and just lie to you.”
Bonnie shook her head. “I know he’s not lying to me. We were raised to be good.”
Daddy laughed and she took in a shaky breath. This was an important moment and it could go either way. She could explain and Daddy could believe her, or he could tell her she wasn’t welcome here anymore. Daddy could kick her out or he could even throw her in the basement again and leave her there to die.
She needed to get the point across that Ethan wouldn’t and hadn’t hurt innocent people.
“We didn’t grow up like that. My mom was a single mother and taught us not to hurt innocent people. She raised us right,” Bonnie explained, tears forming in her eyes. She didn’t like to talk about her mother much. It was a tough subject. “When my mom died, he found a place to let out his anger and it was the underground fighting. He rose to the top and gained a reputation and rumors. But you know not all rumors are true.”
Daddy shook his head and glared at her. “I don’t want to hear any more lies from you! I’m going.”
“No! You can’t!” she yelled. “I promise you I’m not lying. You have to believe me.”
“I don’t.”
Bonnie stumbled back at his harsh voice. He’d gotten up from his seat on the ground.
“I promise I won’t lie to you! I did keep what he was wanting me to do secret, but I wanted to talk to him and tell him I wouldn’t do it!” She tried to explain. “I haven’t lied to you about how we grew up or what he does.”
“Zip it,” Daddy said. “I’m done.”
Her heart broke at his words. Done with her? Or done talking about this? Before she could ask, Daddy walked out of the room and toward the front door.
“Please, Daddy!” she yelled as she tried to catch up.
But before she could get to him, Daddy Ray wrapped his arms around her.
“Shhh,” Daddy Ray said. “Let him cool off for a while.”
“Let me go!” she yelled. “I need to go talk to Daddy.”
“Not right now. He’s not in his right mind and I don’t want you to get hurt.”
“He wouldn’t hurt me!”
“Not physically, but he can hurt you with his words.”
Bonnie sagged into Daddy Ray’s embrace and let out a sob. What was she going to do? She knew she wouldn’t be able to leave the house and go after him. He locked every door and window when he left. And even if the door wasn’t locked, she wouldn’t know where he lived. She didn’t even know where she was.
“You stay here. I’m going to go talk to Daddy,” Daddy Ray gently said.
“Please, don’t leave me,” she begged.
“I need to go talk to him.”
Daddy Ray put her down on the couch and kissed her forehead. Bonnie tried to search his face to see how he was taking everything, but she couldn’t read him. Was he mad at her, too? Was he wanting to leave her?
Tears streamed down her face as she watched Daddy Ray leave the building. What was she going to do?
Bonnie pulled over her phone and brought Daddy’s contact up.
BONNIE
Please talk to my brother.
She waited for his reply, but part of her knew he wasn’t going to.
BONNIE
Get in contact with him and figure everything out. You guys don’t have to be enemies.
Tears streamed down her face as he didn’t reply. Why couldn’t he just reply? Bonnie called him, but it went to voicemail. She called him again, holding her breath as it rang.
“Please pick up,” she whispered. “Please.”
But it went to voicemail. The phone went off and she pulled up the text message.
DADDY
Stop texting me.
A sob broke through as she read the text. Why would he say that? Did he not want to talk to her? Did he not want her anymore?
Bonnie curled up on the couch, clutching the blanket in her grip. Why had she insisted on calling her brother? Why couldn’t she have thought and not done it?
