Chapter 93

Book:Her Ruthless Daddy Published:2025-3-13

BONNIE
Bonnie managed to drag herself from the couch and into her room. Tears were still streaming down her face as she looked and thought back on what had happened earlier. Her heart was hurting when she realized the last normal time they had together was right before the call.
Daddy hadn’t come back and neither had Daddy Ray.
Were they even going to come back? Probably not.
She’d texted both of them several times but neither one replied to her. How was she going to fix this? Was there even a way to?
Right now it didn’t look like there was any possible way to fix what she’d done. Bonnie wished she’d never said anything to them. She wished she hadn’t called her brother so he wouldn’t have asked her to.
But she’d wanted to talk to him and let him know she was okay. Bonnie didn’t want Ethan to worry for the rest of his life. Maybe if she hadn’t mentioned Rogan’s name she would have been okay. Maybe then Daddy wouldn’t be mad at her and she wouldn’t have gotten told to spy on him.
Bonnie looked over at her backpack. It was sitting right next to a pair of clothes Daddy had set out for her to sleep in. Daddy had been doing these little things to take care of her and she loved it. But now it was no more. Daddy or Daddy Ray weren’t here and she knew they weren’t going to come back. Why would they?
Maybe her life would be better if she went back to Ethan and got married away. Either way she was going to be heartbroken, but if she went back to Ethan then she would be able to talk to him freely. Even if her husband wasn’t a Daddy, she could still go on Little vacations away from him and be Little at a club for a couple of hours. Or maybe she could ask for a room to be Little in while her husband was away for the day.
Either way, it would be better than staying here and not living. She didn’t know what was going to happen now with Daddy and Daddy Ray. Would they go back to having no contact? Would they go back to someone dropping her food off and that was it?
Bonnie didn’t want that.
Closing her eyes, she took in several deep breaths and opened them again. If she were to do this, then she’d to come up with a way to get out of the house. Someone from the outside had to come in so she could slip out of a window.
Bonnie realized the other day when someone came through the door, unlocking it, they unlocked the rest of the house for a short period. If they forgot to lock the door when they came in. She would just need to come up with a reason why they wouldn’t be able to lock the door after themselves.
Maybe a fire.
That way she could yell ‘fire’ and they would have to come rushing in and not think about the door. It was a long shot and she would have to act fast. Would she be able to do it?
Bonnie wouldn’t know until she tried.
Pushing herself off the bed, she stood up and quickly grabbed onto the nightstand. She’d been crying so much and hadn’t drank or eaten anything in hours. Her vision was swimming as she took in several calming breaths. Hopefully this would pass. Bonnie didn’t know how she was going to be able to sneak away if she was feeling like this.
Her pacifier and Mosey were sitting right next to her backpack, almost like they knew she was going to be leaving today. She quickly packed them into her bag and zipped it up. Well, almost all the way. She wanted to grab some food and put it in there before she left.
Bonnie looked out the window and held her breath. Two guards were walking by patrolling around the building. Every time they walked by a window she was near, she always held her breath. She didn’t know why or how it started. Maybe she didn’t want to alert them she was so close.
Would she be able to do this?
She shook her head. She needed to start thinking she could or else she was going to fail. Bonnie couldn’t fail at this or else she was stuck here forever. Or until Daddy told someone to kill her.
Just the thought of him telling someone brought tears to her eyes. She was an emotional wreck right now.
Bonnie walked out of her room and into the living room. She’d seen Daddy Ray open a window when he was here one time and it looked pretty easy. Well, pretty easy for him which meant she would most likely struggle.
She placed her backpack down by the window and walked to the kitchen. Was she really going to do this?
Bonnie knew there was a camera inside the kitchen and more all around the house. Daddy and Daddy Ray talked to her about it. It was how Daddy knew she’d gotten hurt when she’d dumped boiling water all over her hand. Bonnie hadn’t asked if they had one in her room or the bathroom. She hoped they didn’t, but she couldn’t be too sure.
She looked up right at the camera in the kitchen corner. No doubt she looked like absolute shit right now. She was exhausted, had been crying for hours, and didn’t feel good at all.
Bonnie placed her phone down on the counter and started to search for something that could be lit on fire. Daddy had one of those automatic lighter guns in the kitchen. She didn’t know why since he never used it but she was thankful. Now she could easily start a fire.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw the paper towels. They would be easy to light on fire and they would stay on fire. She would have to be quick though. Grabbing both of them, she placed them on the floor and picked up the lighter gun.
She took a deep breath and looked into the camera again. She wanted Daddy and Daddy Ray to know she did it on purpose to get away. They weren’t wanting her so she was going to show them she didn’t care how she got away, but that she did.
Turning the lighter on, she lit one of the paper towels up.
“Fire!” she yelled. “Fire! Help me! Fire!”
Bonnie placed the lighter gun on the kitchen counter next to her phone and watched as the paper towels lit up even more. The door burst open and people ran down the hall and into the kitchen.
“Get back!” a man yelled.
Several people pushed her back and out of the kitchen. Time to put her plan into action. Bonnie turned around and quickly grabbed her bag, slinging it over her shoulder. She heard something hit the floor, but she didn’t pay any attention. It was probably one of the guards trying to put the fire out.
She pushed with all her might, trying to get the window open. Bonnie could hear the guards talking and she knew she didn’t have much time until they came out and found her trying to escape.
With one last effort, she pushed with all her might and opened the window. Looking back, she realized the fire was out. Before they could turn around, Bonnie slipped out.
RAYNAR
Raynar knew he needed to talk to Rogan about what had happened back at the house. Bonnie was hysterical when he left and he didn’t like that.
He was in a tough situation. He believed what Bonnie had said, but he could also see where Rogan, their Daddy, was coming from. She’d withheld what her brother said in the beginning.
Raynar understood why she did it. Ethan and Daddy were enemies, but Ethan was Bonnie’s brother. Someone she cared for deeply and loved. But so was Daddy.
Raynar didn’t envy the position Bonnie was in. He didn’t think anyone would-having to pick between someone they love and the person they grew up with and were close to.
Daddy was currently talking to Lucius about who knows what. Well, Raynar knew. It was about Bonnie and the information he’d just found out. Raynar wanted to go in there and tell Daddy to believe and look into what Bonnie had said.
There was no way she would say that if she didn’t honestly believe it was true. Especially when she was so hysterical and wanted both of them to believe what she was saying. Raynar never wanted to see that look on her face again. It was hard to watch. More so when Daddy had stood up and said he was leaving.
Nothing about believing her. Nothing about looking into what she was saying and figuring out if it was true or false.
He just said he was leaving, and then he just… left.
Bonnie had been texting Raynar, but he hadn’t replied yet. He needed to talk to Daddy first. He needed to show Daddy he believed what Bonnie was saying was true. Why would she come up with such an elaborate lie on the spot? Raynar didn’t think she was capable of that. She was too soft and their world hadn’t touched her.
He sighed and leaned up against the wall. Raynar knew he couldn’t just barge into the office while they were talking. Not if he didn’t have a good enough reason. There was still a hierarchy and Raynar didn’t want to disrespect Daddy in front of his other men. Even if it was just Lucius, his best friend. It didn’t feel right to barge in when it could wait.
Lucius and Daddy were probably talking about Bonnie. What if they were planning on kicking her out? What if they were deciding on how to torture her to get back at Ethan?
Raynar started to pace back and forth down the hallway. He couldn’t hold them off if they decided to go and do things to her.
He knew the rule about not hurting innocent women was followed very closely. They’d all gotten word of someone in the family torturing an innocent woman for days. Bonnie was the woman who had been hurt. But now Raynar wasn’t sure Daddy thought of her as innocent anymore. He hoped that wasn’t the case, but he wouldn’t know for sure until he talked to Daddy about it.
Would he be able to change Daddy’s mind if he thought of her as an enemy now?
Raynar closed his eyes as he felt the tears coming. Now was not the time to cry. He needed to be strong because he didn’t know when Lucius and Daddy would be done talking. He couldn’t break down now because anyone could see him. Raynar needed to be stronger for a little while longer and then he could break down.
His phone went off and he answered it. “Hello?”
“Are you with the Boss?” Lino asked. “I tried calling but I couldn’t reach him.”
“No, but I’m close. Why?”
“There was a fire at the guest house. We put it out and assumed Bonnie went back to her room, but when I went to her room to tell her it was out, she wasn’t there.”
Raynar’s heart stopped beating. Where was she? “She has to be in the house.”
“We’ve searched everywhere for her,” Lino countered. “I’ve got the men searching the perimeter to try and find her but it’s getting dark and fast.” “I’ll tell the Boss,” Raynar replied.
He hung up the phone and ran. He didn’t care if he could possibly get into trouble for not knocking. This was a serious matter.
“Daddy!” he yelled as he burst through the door, stopping short when Lucius and Rogan both stared at him with wide eyes. “Shit. Sorry. Bonnie has gone missing.”
