ROGAN
Rogan was on his way to his office. He’d messaged Angelo to meet him there. He wanted to know what was going on.
“What did you want me for?” Angelo asked as Rogan stepped
into his office.
“What the fuck were you doing?” Rogan hissed.
“I wasn’t trying to get in the way of you and her, I promise,” Angelo replied. “I was just bringing her stuffie and pacifier. A Little needs their comfort items.”
Rogan shook his head. “You had no right! I was going to do that for her. You should have just left it be or asked me about it.”
“I’m sorry, I really was just trying to help her. I knew it would be weird for her to sleep in a bed after being in a chair for a while. I wanted her to feel comfortable and having her stuffie was going to help.”
“She doesn’t need your help unless I say she does.”
Angelo blinked several times and continued to look at him. What was he thinking?
“Do you understand?” Rogan barked.
“I really didn’t think your feelings for her were this strong,” Angelo replied. “I knew you had some type of feelings, but I didn’t think they were this strong. I wouldn’t have brought her things to her if I had known. I would have asked you.”
Rogan closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Maybe he was overreacting a bit. “It’s not your fault. I know you were trying to help, but next time ask me before you do anything like that for her. She’s my girl.”
“Who’s your girl?” Lucius asked, walking in and interrupting their conversation. “And what is Angelo asking?”
“Nothing,” Rogan replied. He didn’t need what happened to be rehashed to Lucius.
“Come on, tell me,” Lucius pressed. “I’m going to find out one way or another.”
“He got all possessive over Bonnie,” Angelo replied.
Rogan glared at him.
“Really?” Lucius raised his eyebrows.
“Leave,” Rogan growled. “Both of you.”
But both of them stayed right where they were. Of course they would.
“I would like to know what happened,” Lucius said. “Did he make a move on Bonnie?”
“Oh, he did alright,” Angelo replied.
“Shut up,” Rogan said.
“He claimed her,” Angelo said, completely ignoring what Rogan had just said.
Lucius’s eyes went wide. “Really? You do know who her brother is, right?”
“I’m going to think that through,” Rogan replied. “Her Little side is pulling me in. There’s a bond between us.”
“A bond just like the one you have with Raynar?” Lucius quickly said.
“Ooo, gossip. Please tell,” Angelo said.
Rogan was annoyed that Lucius was sharing his business, but also confused at Angelo’s lack of reaction to that piece of information.
“It’s pretty obvious. He’s got the hots for Boss and Rogan here likes Raynar,” Lucius explained to Angelo before turning to Rogan. “You could totally have two Littles. Raynar even suggested it.” Lucius grinned.
“No way? Really? I can totally see it.”
“Will both of you stop talking?” Rogan snapped. “And stop telling secrets that aren’t meant to be shared.”
“Anyone with two eyes can see it,” Lucius replied.
Rogan sighed, and pushed past them to sit at his desk. What was he going to do? He didn’t want people to know he was interested in Raynar and Bonnie just yet. Bonnie’s situation was unique and he was still trying to figure out everything with her brother.
“No one is going to stand in my way with either of them. I’m going to figure something out with her brother and I’m going to talk to Raynar soon,” Rogan announced. “Then I’ll broach the subject with Bonnie once I have a solution.”
“You might want to tell her before you figure everything out with her brother,” Angelo said.
“Yeah, what if you tell her and she wants nothing to do with the two of you? What if she wants to go back to Ethan?” Lucius asked.
He sighed once again. Fair point. And one he didn’t like at all. “I don’t think I’m going to let her go, ever.”
“Good luck on both fronts. Especially her brother,” Lucius said.
“Are you actually going to be okay with this? With her?” Angelo asked, suspiciously.
“Why? What do you mean?” Rogan met Angelo’s suspicion with a healthy dose of his own. Was Angelo just hoping Rogan would change his mind so he could swoop in and have Bonnie all for himself?
“With her crying and all. You don’t like crying women. How are you going to deal with her?”
“It’s not my favorite. I’m just going to slowly show her she shouldn’t cry so much.”
Unease filled both his friends’ faces.
“I would think carefully about what you just said,” Lucius said. “You don’t want her changing and bottling everything up, hiding her feelings from you, just because you can’t deal with a few tears.”
“Yeah, and think about punishments. Littles always cry during those, and it’s needed. Crying can be good for some people, and I think Bonalicious is one of those people,” Angelo commented.
“Sure, I know that, but I’m talking about when she’s scared, nervous, or angry,” Rogan replied.
Angelo shook his head. “Some people cope that way and it’s not good to take her outlet from her. Help her learn she can lean on you and cry. Maybe she’ll cry less often if she knows you’ll take away her worry and stress.”
“I’ll think about it,” he said. What Angelo said was good and he was going to try and do it for her. Even if that didn’t work, he wasn’t going to give her up. He would just have to learn how to cope with the tears.
“That’s his way of saying he’s going to do what you suggested.” Lucius laughed.
“Get out!” Rogan raised his voice. “I don’t need you two right now.”
Angelo and Lucius nodded their heads and left his office. Rogan took the time to take several deep breaths and try to come up with a game plan. He needed to talk to Raynar and then mention it to Bonnie all while trying to figure out something with Ethan. Were they going to see eye to eye?
Probably not.
So, how was Rogan going to fix this between them? He probably wasn’t going to. Maybe he would have to hide Bonnie for the rest of her life. She definitely wouldn’t like it.
“Is this a bad time?” Raynar asked.
“No,” Rogan replied. “I was just about to call you and see if we could talk.”
“I need to say something first. I want to apologize for what I said about you needing the girl and me.”
Rogan stood up. “No.”
“No?”
“No, I don’t want you to apologize. I’ve been thinking about what you said. If it can work, I want to make it happen. I have feelings for both of you and I don’t want to lose either one of you.”
