Chapter 81

Book:Her Ruthless Daddy Published:2025-3-13

BONNIE
Bonnie was trying her hardest to stay awake for Rogan. He’d said he was coming back to bring her stuffie and pacifier. She didn’t realize how much she’d missed them until he mentioned it. With everything that had happened, they’d slipped her mind.
Guilt was eating her up.
How could she have forgotten her stuffie, Mosey, and her pacifier? They’d been with her for years and she’d just forgotten about them. Bonnie knew she’d had a good reason, but that didn’t make her feel any better. They were special to her.
“Hello,” Angelo said as he peeked his head into the room. “I thought you might be asleep.”
She slowly blinked as the tiredness weighed down on her. She so badly wanted to sleep but she was trying to wait for Rogan to get back.
“Awww, you are tired, aren’t you?” Angelo stepped into the room.
Bonnie immediately noticed his hands were behind his back. What was he hiding? Maybe he wasn’t hiding anything, and it was just how he stood. Though, she didn’t remember him standing or walking like that when he was down in the basement.
“I saw these in Rogan’s office and thought you might want them,” Angelo said as he brought his hands out from behind his back.
She quickly looked away. He was holding her stuffie and pacifier in his hands. Why did he have to bring those? She knew Angelo knew she was a Little, but she wasn’t expecting him to bring her precious things. She was expecting Rogan because he said he was her Daddy. Did he not want to be her Daddy?
Bonnie closed her eyes. It was too much to think about.
“It’s okay,” Angelo softly said. “I’m not going to make fun of you. I know you’re a Little. Almost everyone here is a Daddy. You don’t have to be embarrassed about having a stuffie and using a pacifier.”
Bonnie cocked her head and furrowed her brow at Angelo, processing this new information. Most of them were Daddies? How was that possible? Was it like a requirement for all of them to be a Daddy to join the Ricci Crime family?
Bonnie gripped her head as it started to pound. She really needed to remember not to move too fast or she was going to pay the consequences. Tears polled in her eyes. She saw Angelo move toward her, placing her things on the bed.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
“Y-yes,” she whispered, but even she could hear the pain in her voice.
When was her head going to stop hurting so much?
“Do you want me to look at your head?”
“No.”
She didn’t want him to shine the bright light in her eye. It was going to hurt even more if he did that.
“Okay. So, can you tell me what your stuffie’s name is?” Angelo asked as he handed Mosey to her.
She clutched Mosey in her arm and gripped her pacifier in her hand. She wished she could hide them. She wished she could go back in time and keep him from finding out she was a Little, but that wasn’t going to happen. Just like the floor swallowing her up when she was in the basement didn’t happen.
“It’s okay,” Angelo said, taking a step back. “Maybe someday,
Bonalicious.”
She glared at him. Why did he insist on calling her Bonalicious?
“Now, don’t give me that look. Bonalicious is your nickname and I’m not going to call you anything else.”
Angelo moved his hand quickly and she gasped, flinching back. Bonnie groaned as her head protested. The tears started to cascade down her face and she dropped her stuffie and pacifier on the bed.
“Let me have a look,” Angelo said, his concern evident.
He grabbed her face and slowly tilted it so she was looking up at him.
They were staring into each other’s eyes when the door opened.
“What the fuck are you doing to her?” Rogan yelled. “Get away!”
Bonnie pulled her eyes off of Angelo’s and cried out in pain. Everything was hurting so bad in her head. She just wanted all of it to stop. She couldn’t take it anymore.
“Don’t move your head too fast,” Angelo said. “You’re going to make it worse.”
“Get the fuck away from her!” Rogan yelled.
“I’m backing away slowly,” Angelo replied.
Tears were streaming down her face as she looked between the two. They were continuing to talk to each other but she drowned them out. Their yelling was hurting her head.
“I wasn’t doing anything! I was just bringing her stuff so she could be comfortable. I also wanted to check in on her and see how her head was doing. She moved really fast and hurt herself. I was just checking her pupils,” Angelo explained.
“I don’t give a fuck. Move further away from her,” Rogan replied.
She watched as Angelo walked closer to the door, and Rogan walked toward her.
“Hey, Little One,” he whispered. “You’re okay.”
Her eyes were wide as he approached. Why was he yelling at Angelo to get away from her? Angelo was a doctor and wasn’t doing anything but checking up on her.
“I went to my office to find your things and they were gone. I needed to make sure you didn’t leave the room and hurt yourself,” Rogan said. “Everything is going to be okay. Daddy is here now.”
“I’ll be back later to check on her head injury,” Angelo said, glaring at Rogan.
“I’ll contact you if she needs you.” Rogan glared back.
Bonnie looked over at Angelo who had a smirk on his face. He wiggled his eyebrows at her before leaving. What was that for?
“How’s my Little One doing?” Rogan asked. “Can I get you any pain medicine? Do you want to take a nap or have something to drink?”
He was giving her too many options and she was starting to get overwhelmed. Even more tears pooled in her eyes and flowed down her cheeks. Why couldn’t he just pick or leave her be?
“Aww, Little One. I didn’t mean to make you cry,” he gently said as he sat down on the edge of the bed. “Are you feeling overwhelmed? Did I give you too many options?”
Bonnie was confused. Why was he not reacting to her crying? He always had before and she didn’t think he could just change overnight.
Rogan wiped away the tears on her cheeks. “You know I hate crying, but I think you need this. Do you want a hug while you cry?”
She shook her head slowly, hoping the small motion wouldn’t hurt her. She didn’t want to cry because it made her head hurt worse. Everything she did made her head hurt.
“Words, Little One. We don’t want you shaking your head and making anything worse.” Rogan spoke gently. “Now, do you need anything?” “N-no,” she whispered.
Did him saying he wanted to be her Daddy, and going to be, mean he didn’t see her as a threat? Or was he just doing this to get back at her for sneaking into his car? What was her brother going to think? Ethan was no doubt was already searching for her. Or maybe he wasn’t. He’d been extremely busy the last couple of weeks and she didn’t know why. Maybe it was because it was work, but he had stuffed zebras he brought home every once in a while and slowly they would disappear.
Bonnie had no clue why he had the stuffed zebras and she didn’t dare ask. But every time a zebra would disappear, he would be a lot happier.
“What are you thinking about?” Rogan asked. “And don’t think about lying. If you do, I’ll put it down in your naughty book.”
“My brother,” she replied honestly, not wanting to get spanked later on. He’d already threatened to spank her when she was better, and Bonnie had no doubt he would follow through with it if she gave him reason.
“I want you to know, right now I don’t see you as a threat. Even though
I don’t like your brother, I can tell you aren’t anything like him.”
It was a relief to know, but at the same time it wasn’t. He didn’t like her brother and Bonnie really didn’t know why. Ethan had never talked about their rivalry and she never asked. He didn’t like to talk about business, thought it would corrupt her or something. Bonnie always figured he knew she’d be horrified if she knew the full reality of who he was and what he did.
“I know you aren’t going to trust me right away and I don’t expect you to, but I just want you to know I’m here for you,” Rogan said.
Bonnie continued to stare at him. He was saying all the right words, but he was still her brother’s biggest enemy. What if Ethan found her and she was happy with Rogan? What was going to happen? Bonnie didn’t want to lose her brother.
Though, she didn’t know if her running away was going to make Ethan hate her. He was always worried about her, and she knew her running away was bringing stress on him. It hadn’t been her intention, but she didn’t want to be in an arranged marriage. Running had been the only way for her to get out of it.
“I’m going to move you to a different house where you’ll be safe and be able to roam around a bit more. You won’t be able to leave the house though,” Rogan continued to explain. “All the doors and windows will be locked for your own good.”
How was it for her own good? He decided he wanted her and wasn’t going to let her go? Did she not have a say in it?
“Why can’t you just let me go?” she whispered.
“I can’t do that. You’re mine and you aren’t going anywhere,” Rogan replied. “I know you feel the bond between us. I think you’re just too afraid to act on it. But don’t worry, Daddy is going to help you. I’m going to show you I can be your Daddy and it’s going to be amazing. Even if it takes a little bit for you to trust me. You’ll never get hurt on my watch again.”
Bonnie blinked several times, trying to keep the tears from appearing. She didn’t want him to get angry at her.
“I know it’s a lot to take in right now. How about you take a nap and when you wake up, we’ll go to the other house. You’re going to love it there. It’s big and you’ll be able to explore,” Rogan said as he stood up from the bed.
If she could have, Bonnie would have rolled her eyes. Just because she would be able to explore didn’t mean it was going to make everything better.
“I’ll see you soon,” Rogan said as he kissed her forehead for the second time. “Sleep tight.”
He left the room and she was alone with her thoughts. Maybe she would be able to find a way out of the house. Or on the way she could escape. She was just going to have to keep her eyes open when they left.
