Alec’s POV:
“Are you going to go in with mama to change?” Micah asked as she licked her candy.
“No,” I answered with a smile.
We were waiting for Olivia to step out of the changing room so we could see the clothes she had chosen.
“Aren’t you going to sit down next to me?” She asked.
“I will soon,” I answered.
My mind was going back to what Lee had said to me back at the pack.
“I cleared most bad memories from her, but that’s not how one should be or grow up. Bad memories are the ones that molds one into the adult they are or molds their decision to be better at something or who they are. That child’s memories means a lot, that’s why my wiping won’t be permanent. When she reaches the age of sixteen, she will remember everything and she will be able to make her own decision if she wants to ever forgive you or not. I suggest you start being a perfect father figure for her, that way she would understand what you did that for,” he said.
“Alec, is this that bad?” Olivia asked in a low tone.
I looked at her from head to toe then smiled
“I love it,” I said then looked at the customer assistance.
“We will get everything she looked at and liked,” I said as she smiled happily.
“Everything!” Olivia exclaimed.
“Yes everything, is there something else you want?” I asked.
“Alec, everything in here is beautiful but ….”
“Hey you, you know the things she looked at happily, pack all that,” I ordered.
“Right away sir,” she answered then quickly turned and walked away.
Olivia moved closer and stood in front of me looking serious.
“You don’t have to get me all that, I was okay with those few clothes I picked. You don’t have to over spend on me,” she said seriously as I chuckled.
Over spend? Did she have any idea how rich I was? Each and every pup that was born from a high up inherited what their parents had and on top of it, I was paid for my work. I was older than Damon and had no way of spending money on myself because I was usually busy with work and I felt lazy to go out. Know that I was with her my mate, I wanted to spend on her as much as I an because it made me happy.
I took a step forward closing the space between us.
“You must be mistake Olivia. I’m not buying all this to over spend or for you, I’m buying this for me. I want to be seeing you in only the finest things as a feast for my eyes,” I said as she blushed and quickly turned to face the other side.
“So, is it okay to get more?” I asked.
“I guess,” she answered in a whisper as I smirked.
She was so easy to read and convince, that was one of the things I liked about her.
“Micah, would you like to try out some clothes too?” I asked.
She quickly stood up cheerfully.
“Can I do that?”
“Can she do that?
Olivia asked quickly together with Micha when she turned to look at me.
“Of course,” I answered.
“Oh, then I’ll pick a few things for her,” she said happily.
She was more happy over picking Micah’s clothes than her own. She really deserved to be a mother.
“Let’s make her one,” Luther said mischievous as I grinned.
“I’m way ahead of you,” I answered loudly.
“You are?” She asked as I nodded.
“Cute, she thinks you are responding to her,” Luther purred.
“I know,” I answered then looked at Micah.
“You two can go and pick anything you like. Olivia, please don’t hold back no matter what. I have a lot more than you think,” I said seriously.
She nodded and quickly grabbed Micah’s hand walking with her to the shoe section to check for a pair for her.
I moved and sat down happily.
“Should we get something for us too?” I asked Luther.
“Not today,” he answered.
“Yeah, you are right,” I answered then frowned when I picked up a familiar scent.
“Alec,” a voice came from behind.
I lazily waited as she moved in front of me.
“What are you doing here?” She asked happily as I looked at her from head to toe lazily.
If not for her scent I couldn’t have remembered her. I cared less about her and wanted nothing to do with her. She was a she-wolf who loved living in human territory. She was stable with a few stores of her own and once my one night stand.
“It’s not Alec, it’s Beta to you,” I answered as she looked at me seriously then laughed softly.
“Come on, don’t be so serious on me,” she said.
I was about to respond when Olivia approached us.
I quickly got to my feet and looked around to see Micah looking at the jewelry.
“Are you done?” I asked softly.
“No,” she answered then looked at the lady seriously.
I wanted to laugh so hard but held it in. It was clear that she came to check out the pretty lady in front of me.
“Is she your one night stand, a human?” The lady asked in amusement.
“Oh no, this here isn’t. She is someone I dearly respect and care for. She’s my lover,” I answered as she glared at me.
“Hey, meet my mate and future wife Olivia. Olivia meet my one night stand who I can’t remember the name or who she is,” I introduced.
She furiously turned and walked away as glared at me.
“I’ll explain everything, so please just go to Micah, she is waiting for you,” I pointed out.
She turned and went to Micah as I quickly rushed outside following the she-wolf who instantly turned to look at me before she could get in her car.
“Beta, is there something you want to say to me?” She asked.
“Yes there is,” I answered then moved closer and touched her neck gently.
“You know those beautiful stories that happen in books, where a man finally meets the woman he is in love with then a bitch comes to sabotage them from nowhere? That’s exactly what I thought I will live in. So let’s make this clear. I fucked you liked it and I liked it in those few hours, just like how we feel when we take a shot or glass of whiskey. It feels good but then the next day it becomes a bitch because of the hangover we get after. You are just like a shot. Now you are a fucking pain in my sight. Never should we ever cross paths,” I said as I added pressure on my grip and Luther pulled through.
“If you do, I’ll break you pretty little neck,” he growled then gave me back control as I dropped my hand.
“Now then, have a good drive,” I said as she quickly bared her neck.
I walked back inside and found Olivia, the customer assistant and Micah standing with a lot of bags in front of them.
“Hey, have something take them in my car,” I ordered then walked to the cashier to pay.
Once everything was paid I went back to Olivia who was kneeling talking to Micah.
“Is everything alright?” I asked in concern.
“Yes,” she answered.
“No, I want ice cream,” Micah said loudly.
“No Micah,” Olivia argued.
I happily moved and lifted Micah on my shoulders in a sitting position.
“Let’s go and eat and have a lot of fun,” I said playfully then walked outside as Olivia followed.
“We are in trouble,” Luther said.
“I know,” I answered silently.
I had no idea that Olivia was the jealous type. She still looked unhappy, but I was confident by the end of the day she would be happy.
