Lexi’s POV :
I was woken up by a very loud knock.
As I blinked to clear my vision, I looked to the side of my bed and noticed how empty it was.
I stood up in disappointment wrapping a sheet around my naked body then slowly walked to the door with wobbly legs.
It was true what Ryan had said, he was really different from Evan yet I loved both of them and how they held me.
For the first time I felt whole and very happy. I was finally embraced by them
I moved my hand to Ryan’s mark which was on the other side of my neck for a second then opened the door.
Whitney was looking at me coldly.
“Take a bath, dress up and meet me in the dining hall for breakfast.” She ordered, then turned and walked away without waiting for an answer.
I went to the bathroom and got into the shower, turning it on.
Once I was relaxed, I cleaned myself while thinking about how angry she looked.
“She couldn’t even greet me.” I muttered to myself in a whisper.
Once I was done, I turned off the water and stepped out.
I wasted no time brushing my hair and dressing up to avoid getting her more annoyed.
When I was about to come out, the door opened and Ryan looked down at me seriously.
“Morning.” I whispered huskily.
My throat was slightly hurting as well as my pussy.
He went all out on me, taking me into different positions I had never seen or heard before.
He smiled then leaned in and kissed where his mark was, sending a shiver throughout my body.
When he pulled back he brushed his hand through my wet hair.
“You should always dry your hair before stepping out.” He said as I shyly lowered my gaze to the ground for a second, then looked back at him.
“I was going to the dining room to have breakfast with Whitney, would you like to come with me?” I asked.
He linked his hand to mine then nodded.
“That’s the reason why I’m here. Whitney wants to see us all, in the dining room.” He answered, as my heart picked up.
“Thank you for coming to pick me up,” I said while we walked to the dinning.
“You are my queen, so I ought to spoil you rotten.” He answered as I blushed and walked in with him.
I was scared and very worried. Whitney rarely called the both of us for breakfast, unless she had something important to tell us.
“Were we loud last night?” That thought was slowly growing on me.
Leomord sat next to Whitney on the left side while on the right side sat August and Evan. I moved and sat next to Evan while Ryan took a chair next to me.
“Morning everyone.” I greeted, then looked at Evan who was looking at me happily.
“Morning.” I whispered through our mind link.
“Morning.” He responded and leaned in to kiss my cheek.
I happily moved my hand to cover my mouth when Whiteny cleared her throat causing me to quickly drop it and looked at her.
“I’m glad that you are all here because I have something to tell you.” She said then moved her hand and pressed it on Leomord’s on the table.
“Leo and I have decided to go into human territory tomorrow.” She announced it, surprising me.
“What?” I asked loudly.
“I believe the question is why?” August said.
She raised her free hand showing off the diamond ring on her finger.
“We are going there to tie the knot.” She answered as I stood up happily.
“Oh my goodness, that’s amazing! congratulations. When are we leaving?” I asked cheerfully.
They looked at each other then at me seriously.
“That’s the issue honey, we will just go the two of us.” Leo answered.
“Why father?” I asked sadly.
“We want it to be very private. Moreover, the Alpha queen and Alpha Ian have already agreed to be our witnesses. It wouldn’t seem fair if we leave Felix, Lee and Jeannie behind just to get you.” He answered.
I sadly sat down feeling bad. I understood them very well but I still felt left out. If they were going to leave their whole family then I too was included.
“Cheer up, they obviously thought through their decision and figured it was for the best to just go with the two of them.” Evan said softly then linked his hand with mine under the table.
“Congratulations.” Ryan and August said together.
“Thank you.” Whitney answered with a smile then took in a deep breath and released it.
“But that wasn’t all we wanted to say.” She said.
“Yes, since Ian will be joining us we have decided that it would be a good chance for August to learn a few things in his pack. We know how uncomfortable you are around him, but now is your chance. You will go there and learn a few things under Neo for two weeks then you will return.” Leomord said seriously.
“What?’ August asked loudly.
“And to make sure you don’t feel lonely on that side, you will go with Sharon.” Whitney cheerfully said.
“Who the hell is Sharon?” He asked loudly.
“Me.” A female voice answered then she entered.
I instantly recognized her because she was the one who had helped me dress up on my birthday. Because of her my birthday went smoothly.
I smiled at her and pointed at an empty chair for her.
“Are you offering her to me to do as I please?” August asked sarcastically once she had taken her seat.
“No, we want you to go with her so she could help you out in any way she can, just not sexually. She will also keep you company.” Whitney answered.
“Well that’s comforting.” Ryan said then leaned against his chair.
“You can always refuse if you aren’t comfortable.” Leomord told him.
August stood up and looked at Sharon for a few seconds before shifting his gaze at me.
“Why not give me Lexi.” He asked as Ryan stood up with a loud growl.
“Do you want to die?” Ryan asked seriously.
“No, I’m just asking. Lexi is very strong and way capable of helping me out that side. She also gives good company.” He answered.
“The twins will be the ones left in charge here so they will need her more than you to keep everyone in check and everything running smoothly.” Leomord answered.
“Also, although Sharon is an omega, she is a very good herbalist. She can single handedly take care of the sick the whole hospital. Besides that she knows when to speak and when to give respect. She won’t pose a threat in any way and she will be a good helper. If you don’t want to follow my orders you can easily tell me now.” Whitney said seriously.
August frowned angrily then closed his eyes and opened them.
“I will go with her.” He answered after a low sigh of defeat.
“Now then let’s all have breakfast.” Leomord said happily.
“I’m not hungry.” August answered then walked out without another word.
“Why is he that upset?” I asked.
“Who knows, he’s been having an attitude lately so don’t mind him. Let’s all eat.” Evan answered.
Ryan slowly sat down and faced me with a smile encouraging me not to worry.
