“A million dollars.”
“You gave him a million dollars just for hitting him?” Tilda jumped up so quickly that she accidentally banged her head on the wardrobe. She clutched her head and let out a yelp.
Johnny got anxious, asking, “What’s wrong? Do you think it’s too little?”
“No.” Tilda grimaced as she looked in the mirror to see how bad the bump was, then sighed, “Johnny, why don’t you hit me every day from now on?”

Johnny waited downstairs at Tilda’s apartment. Before long, he saw her coming down in a pink dress with a jacket draped over her arm.
Because Tilda had fair skin, the pink dress made her look like a high school student.
Johnny looked at her and raised his eyebrows.
Although she looked pretty and lively, why did the pink dress seem so annoying?
Tilda walked over and instinctively glanced at the back seat of his car, which was empty.
He came empty-handed?
Johnny, however, seemed to have a clever idea. He curved his thin lips into a smile and directly wrapped his arm around Tilda’s waist. “What are you looking at?”
“Nothing.” Her face turned red. “Can you stop being so handsy?”
“I’m your boyfriend now. Isn’t it normal to be affectionate with you?” Johnny deliberately leaned down, whispering in her ear with a low and playful voice, “Disappointed there’s no bouquet of roses in the back seat?”
Feeling embarrassed that her thoughts were exposed, Tilda didn’t know what to say.
Johnny chuckled softly and took a car key out of his pocket, placing it in her hand. “I don’t need to use tricks that your blind date used! He gives flowers. I give cars!”
Tilda looked down at the car key, which was shining brightly.
“You’re giving me… a Maserati?!”
“That’s right! A limited edition. One for each of us.” Johnny raised an eyebrow, smiling proudly, “Once we drive them out, everyone in Northville City will know you’re mine.”
After all, there were only two of them in Northville City!
Tilda was stunned but handed the car key back. “I don’t want it.”
“Why not?”
“Johnny, you’re putting too much pressure on me.” Tilda felt like she wasn’t dating but being kept.
Who gave a limited edition sports car on the first date?
“Pressure?” Johnny looked innocent. “As long as you agree, all my assets are yours. A car is nothing!”
Tilda sighed, “I don’t really want it.”
She had mentioned it just to test his sincerity and also to dissuade him.
She never expected he would take it seriously and even involve their parents!
As her words fell, Johnny’s expression changed from excitement to something more serious.
“Are you regretting it?”
“No, I just think we should follow a normal process and start by dating. Don’t jump straight to marriage. I… I’m not ready yet.”
Johnny frowned and forcefully pried open her hand to stuff the car key into it.
“The gift I give you must be accepted! You accepted that guy’s roses, so why not mine?”
“How much do roses cost compared to this sports car?”
It was not the same!
“How much money does Howard have compared to me?”
