Logan’s POV.
“Are you sure you want to eat here, young master?” Othello asked as I ordered him to pull over.
“Is there anything wrong with my choice?” I sighed as I looked at him from the rearview mirror. “Is it bad eating from any restaurant?”
“We could go to the bigger ones. I doubt if this restaurant would have good customer service. And also, their dishes may be awful as well.” He condemned.
I sighed as I looked away. It was at the heart of New Kingston and the view was completely beautiful, the walls which were decorated by synthetic grass and the chairs well arranged at the front of the restaurant.
“That’s not your problem, Othello!!” I scowled as I had him pull over.
“If your dad finds out that you had your lunch here, I will definitely get into his trouble for letting you eat here.” He groaned as he parked the car over.
I stepped down and he wouldn’t stop trying to dissuade me and then, before I could even walk in, a lady had bumped into me, making my wolf to growl lightly but then, I felt him sprawling all over my mind as that familiar scent stuffed my nose.
“No way! It can’t be!!” I stood fixed to where I stood as I felt my heart race. “What is she doing here and why now?” I asked as I looked at her.
For some reason, she got prettier with her eyes closed. I felt my heartbeat spike up as I felt uneasy and happy in between. “Why is my wolf always in delight whenever I am around her?” I groaned as I tried not to mess myself up.
“I’m… I’m… sorry!!” She apologized as she pulled back a bit.
And I could hear how fast her heart raced. “Does she also feel same for me?” I smirked within whilst maintaining a straight face.
“Brush it off already Wolfie!!” I sneered at my wolf. “I am a Bohen!!” I winced.
“Are you okay, young master!?” Othello immediately rushed as he dust off my coat.
“I am!” I growled as I pushed him off.
“When do I get to have my own space? Why won’t they let me enjoy my 18th year? I’m a young adult, for crying out loud.” I groaned as I walked inside the restaurant as I sat down on the last vacant chair which was in the middle of the restaurant.
I couldn’t get my eyes off her. “What was so important about this lady?” I scowled as I looked at her. I furrowed my eyebrows as I kept observing every little thing they do.
“Amelia? Go attend to those two customers.” The aged woman who also worked at the bar said.
I felt my wolf yipping and I frowned even more as I hated the feeling. “Why am I always nervous when I set my eyes on her?”
“She’s beautiful though!!” I snapped out of the thought immediately as she looked at him.
“Am I the only one that feels like he’s different from the rest of his family?” I heard her blonde friend mutter.
“Or maybe, the weird one!!” She scowled as she looked at her friend. “Since you can’t stop talking about him, why don’t you just go and take his order?” She whined as she looked at her.
“Hell no!! I will definitely have my heart jump out of my body.” Her friend chuckled softly and then, I turned to look at her but she was still wearing a straight face.
“Are you alright, young master?” Othello asked with a smile on his face which made me furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as to why he was smiling.
He never smiled because I never smiled either, so why was he smiling right now?
“Is anything the problem?” I asked as I frowned my face more.
“No, not at all.” He responded in an apologetic tone as I adjusted his chair. “I thought I saw you smile a minute ago, so I was wondering why you were smiling.” He said in a low pitch voice as he avoided making eye contact with me.
“Smile? A few minutes ago? Hell no, impossible!!” I scoffed as my eyes went wild the next second as I remembered I was finding it funny why she was different from the other girls.
“Darn it!!” I cursed as it dawned on me that I must have smiled when I heard her call me ‘weird.’
“What’s wrong with you, Logan? Behave!!” I shrugged as I ignored the ladies who were trying their best to gain my attention.
I frowned as I saw her approach my table. She kept avoiding making eye contact which made me grin.
I could still hear her racing heart and the closer she got, the faster her heart raced. “Was this also a sign that she felt the same way I felt? Does this mean that she actually has taken notice of me and also gets nervous being around me?” I blushed as my cheeks got a bit red.
And the very moment she got closer to my table, she had tripped off as one of her small heels shifted, causing her to fall but then, I hurriedly grabbed her as our eyes met.
I felt my heart paused for a while as I got lost in her beautiful eyes. Did I fail to mention? She had multicolored eyes, that was something I never thought I would come to love in a girl.
“Who are you?”
