Rex’s POV
I sat down at the edge of the restaurant as I watched the two love birds. And from the other end, I could clearly hear the voices of the girls that were drooling over the young teenage boy who just walked into the restaurant.
“Oh my God… Logan Bohen is the true definition of beauty!!” I heard one of them blushed as she looked at him.
“Bohen?” I whispered in shock as I turned to look at the young teenage boy. “How could I have easily forgotten?” I cursed as I shook my head in disbelief.
“But then… why was he… he really looks different from the others.” I couldn’t control the thoughts that came in.
“But… but was is he doing here?” I scowled as I found it hard to understand why a young teenage boy from a powerful and not just a powerful werewolf family but a highly wealthy family would drive all the way down here to have his lunch.”
“Oh, yeah!!” I rolled my eyes as I remembered how I saw the waitress bump into him and the way he stood still looking at her.
“He never flared up. I could see how unsettling he was. I could tell from the way he looked at her and how he quickly provoked the moment his personal guard had stepped forward to dust off his suit
I smiled as I could feel my cheeks twitch. All I could think about at that point in time was Elena and I wished I could have her again all to myself.
Seeing how they were drawn to each other only brought back memories of how I and Elena met and how beautiful it was back then. I smiled as I sipped the cold soda.
And just before I could ignore them once and for all, I heard a low pitch scream and followed by a super fast speed to save the girl from falling.
“Okay, enough!!” I sighed as I dropped a hundred dollar note under the can drink as I wore my jacket.
Before I left, I looked at Logan Bohen again. There was something more about him that piqued my interest but then, I just couldn’t get what exactly it was.
He turned to look at me as he sat down back on the chair and I forced a smile before walking away.
“Can you get me everything about Logan Bohen?” I whined as I looked at Clark. “He actually looks different and yeah, he’s the kind of guy to fall under the ‘every ladies’ dream man.” I chuckled softly as I sat down next to Clark as I watched him closely.
“Logan Bohen, 18 years old. There’s nothing much about him.” He replied as he turned to look at me.
“And? You can’t just say there is nothing about him. For crying out loud, he is a Bohen, so there’s absolutely no way that he has nothing else aside from his name and age.” I scowled as I looked at him.
“Ohhh! Newly updated.” Clark snapped as he furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at his screen closely. “How possible is this?” He chuckled as he relapsed on the chair.
“What? What is it?” I looked at the laptop and I couldn’t get why Alphonso Bohen would freely send his son, Logan to a public school.
“And what about Liam? Did he also attend a public school?” I asked curiously as I furrowed my eyebrows
“Ermm… no. Logan is the first.” Clark responded and now I could also see the shock on his face.
“But on a second note, he doesn’t look like someone who could kill anyone.” Clark scoffed as he got up. “We should be more concerned about how you can get your phone from ummm… your lady.” He sneered.
I stoned him with the marker that was on the desk but then, he was fast enough to dodge it. “And you know what? Tonight, I think we will be having our lunch in The Eleven again.” I said with a smile on my face.
“I see someone is now falling head over heels again for Elena.” He scoffed as he smirked, teasing me as he hid closely behind one of the pillars.
I rolled my eyes as I ignored him. Clark was the wrong person telling your secret to, most especially when it’s relating to your love life.
“You know, I keep wondering why exactly you are single and right now, I think I really know why.” I scowled as I got up from the chair.
“Heyy, come on, Rex!!? You know I am actually a lovable person and I just don’t want to get distracted in my duties and service to you as my Alpha, Rex. At least, I promised myself that and also, your mother also made me promise her that I won’t ever leave you no matter what.” He snapped as he smiled now.
I sighed at how unbelievable he could be. “You can be so annoying.” I scowled as I walked past him.
“But… Do you really think Elena would come along with us back to the pack? Don’t you think it will take a little more time than expected?” He asked, making me pause as I turned around as I looked at him without saying a word.
“What was there to say?” I groaned as I turned away as I locked myself in my room. “what if I was also taking things so fast?” “No, what if she ends up in the arms of another man? What if??” I cursed as I covered myself with a thick blanket as I slept off.
I heard the loud multiple and repeated bangs at my door that made me jolt up immediately as my head banged.
“Don’t tell me you are still sleeping? Now it is almost 9p. m, and you know we will be having dinner at The Eleven. So, come on, hurry those lazy ass of yours.” He sighed as he retreated.
