Alicia’s POV
“Hey, Alicia?” Amelia snapped as I was going through my Economics textbook. “Didn’t you see the new guy the principal walked into our class earlier today?” She muttered as she grinned from chin to chin.
“And what about him? What is actually so special about him?” I asked her as I raised my eyebrows. “There’s absolutely nothing so special about him, and you literally don’t expect me to throw myself on him.” I scowled as I continued perusing my textbook.
“Do you even know who he is? You have to see when he drove in. He drove into the compound in a black flashy Ford GT car. He’s a hot cake, Alicia, come on!!” She shrugged in a defensive tone as she rolled her eyes.
“Oh, spare me Amelia!!” I snapped. “I am fully aware of who he is and whose son he is and also, whose brother he is as well, Amelia.” I scowled as I continued going through my text book.
“Currently, he is every girl’s dream and yeah, including mine.” She blushed at the thought of Logan.
“Like, who wouldn’t fall in love with him. Did you see those amber eyes? And how clean and curly his sunburn, auburn hair was well arranged? And come on, Amelia, his jawline, well chiseled and his pointed nose.” She said in so much delight as she looked up like she was seeing his face in the sky.
“Are you even bothered about the test we will be having tomorrow? I hope you are also fully aware that even if Logan Bohen fails, they will all give him a good grade but as for us, Amelia, we need to study hard to get good grades.” I rolled my eyes, placing more emphasis on his name and surname.
The last person I ever wanted to talk about was the Bohen’s family. Yes, they were the strongest werewolf family in New Kingston and that made it difficult for other weaker families as the Bohen’s family were cruel and heartless people.
“Why are you even this carried away by his presence in our school?” I queried as I looked at her sternly.
She frowned as she looked at me. “Is it bad? He’s hot and sexy and not like he is anyway like his father.” She responded in a calm voice and in a defensive tone as well as she locked her eyes with mine.
“And how sure are you about that? Huh?” I snapped immediately. “How about Liam Bohen? Or even their mother, Grace? They are all the same, Amelia.” I sighed as I got up from where we sat.
“We need to get going already. I guess you also haven’t forgotten how Cassie can be when you come late in your shift?” I asked as I packed up my bag.
I had to work in order to survive and prepare for college as well. And only Cassie had given us a space at her bar, Sweet Cass and I couldn’t mess it all up.
“Damn!! I completely forgot.” She whined as she packed her bag as well.
With Amelia, we had no issues with driving down to the restaurant as she had a bicycle which we always used.
“I totally forgot. I don’t think I can keep working there, it’s just so tiring and the pay is also a small one.” She complained as she parked the bicycle at the corner of the restaurant as we walked down.
“Are you being serious right now, Amelia? We are just students and we work less than 12 hours. Where else do you expect to get a job?” I scowled as I looked at her.
“I just have to make Logan love me. Simple!!” She scoffed, chuckling as she ran away as I chased her.
“You can’t be serious, you b*tch!!” I cursed in a playful tone.
She dodged the moment I stretched my hand to catch her as I bumped into someone. I shut my eyes immediately as I felt my feet trembling.
“Not again, oh please!!” I prayed within as I knew I would definitely get scolded by Cassie the moment she knew I had bumped into one of her customers who just patronized her.
“I’m… I’m sorry!!” I said as I slowly opened my eyes again.
My eyes went wild as I saw those amber eyes again. They had this crystal glow that made it more piercing and also, gave him this devilish look.
He remained quiet as he kept looking at me without saying a single word to me.
“Darn it!” I cursed as my heartbeat raced. “I will definitely kill you, Amelia!!” I said to her using our mind link.
We did that often whenever we wanted to gossip or whenever either of us just got ourselves into trouble and right now, I just did.
“Are you okay, young master!?” A young looking man who looked a few years older asked, breaking the silence as he dusted Logan’s black coat.
“I am.” He pushed the man off as he walked inside the restaurant, wearing a straight face which made it completely hard to tell what was going on in his head at that moment.
“Such an arrogant fellow!!” I sighed as I turned back to Amelia, giving her a stern look as I shook my head. “Madam Cass is definitely going to debit our salary.” I groaned as I walked in.
“Why is he staring at you that way, Alicia?” Amelia brought to my notice as she poked me.
I turned to his direction and our eyes jammed and I felt this current that moved round my body.
“Why was he staring at me?” I panicked as I rolled my eyes away.
“Oh my God… look, that’s Logan Bohen, son of Alphonso, the CEO of Bohen’s Bureau.”
I turned as I saw how three girls were drooling over him and when I looked at him, I saw the straight face he still kept as he crossed his left leg across his right leg as he brushed down his hair.
“Darn it! Such arrogance.” I cursed.
