Logan’s POV.
“Logan, are you being serious here?” Alphonso snapped as he looked at Logan. “Why New Kingston College? What about other prestigious schools in New Kingston? What will people say when they see you in a public school?” He scowled in disapproval as he relapsed on his swivel chair.
“That is what I want, father.” I sighed as I rolled my eyes. “This is about me, dad. I can cope and I clearly remember that I just turned 18 and can make decisions for myself too, dad.” I said, rolling my eyes again. “I can take care of myself. I can control my wolf too, just let me be dad, please!?” I groaned this time around as he wasn’t ready to grant me my wish.
“I can’t, Logan. I have to keep you safe at all costs. How do you expect me to protect you from my enemies? Cancel your plans of schooling at the New Kingston College, Logan.” He shrugged as he looked at me.
“I am not going to cancel it out. You let Liam do as he pleases and when it comes to me, I don’t get to have a say. I am not a kid anymore, dad.” I scowled.
He shook his head in disbelief of my quick judgment. “Are you being serious right now, Logan?” He queried as he looked at me.
“You promised me that you will grant whatever wish I made when I turned 18, dad and I am not causing any trouble too!!” I muttered as I locked my eyes with his.
“Okay! Okay, fine. If that is what you want, then fine. But I will have Othello watch you.” He sighed in relief.
“No way, dad. I’m not some kid. I am 18 years old, dad.” I snapped, gritting my teeth.
“Okay fine!! But promise me that you will stay out of trouble. Promise me, Logan.” He said as he walked down to where I stood.
“I will stay out of trouble, dad.” I promised as I zoomed off immediately.
I am Logan Bohen, the second son of Alphonso Bohen, the most powerful Alpha in New Kingston and from a multimillion bureau.
And it was my dream to someday become Alpha but then, how possible was it when I had an elder brother, who happens to be the heir to the throne?
I wasn’t completely interested in taking over the Bureau if I eventually became Alpha but then, that was the only way to become Alpha and that was the reason I spent extra time knowing more about the Bureau.
It was my first day in New Kingston college and Othello had driven me down.
“You don’t dare?” I said in a light growl as I glared at him and my claws, sprouting out already. “I am not a kid anymore, you can leave and when I mean leave, I mean now!!” I growled as he quaked in fear.
“Oh… my… goodness!! Who is that devilish looking, sexy guy?”
I heard a girl referring to me. I still had some difficulty in controlling the voices I heard in my head.
“O… M… G!! Isn’t that Logan Bohen? Son of Alphonso Bohen?” A manly voice echoed this time around.
“He is definitely going to be mine!!” A feminine voice echoed next.
He brushed down his curly sunburned auburn hair as he arranged his tie before turning round and it felt like his world completely paused for a while.
“Why were they looking at me this way?” I gasped as I rolled my eyes.
I walked up the stairs as I tried ignoring everyone.
“Hello handsome?”
“Hey dude, mind joining my basketball team?”
“Hii?”
I ignored everyone as I walked to the principal’s office. He was already expecting me and the moment I got to the front of his door, he smiled broadly as he rushed out.
“Oh! Logan Bohen, your dad informed me about your coming today.” He said as he smiled at me before leading me to my locker.
“Whatever thing you need, you can bring it to my notice.” He muttered as he handed over the keys to my locker to me.
I forced a smile as I was already tired of him trying to be nice to me.
“Your next class is Economics. And it’s…”
Before he could even complete his statement, the bell rang and the announcer or whoever was in charge announced the classes to be held by 10a. m. He chuckled softly as he looked at me, “It’s already time for your economics class.” He muttered as he walked me down to the class.
“Good morning, everyone!”
The class immediately responded to his greeting and once again, I had to deal with their constant remarks of how good looking I was. I rolled my eyes as I arranged my hair properly.
“I wish I could be in his arms already.” I heard a blonde lady talk as her friends chuckled softly.
I smirked as I looked away.
“Meet Logan Bohen, the son of Alphonso Bohen.” He quickly pointed out as he grinned. “From today, he is your new classmate and I expect each and everyone of you to treat him nicely. No bullying, no hate speech! Am I clear?” He growled lightly and they gave a chorused answer.
He walked out immediately after his little introduction speech and the teacher directed me to a vacant chair.
But then, something caught my attention a few steps to the vacant chair. My eyes met with those hazel eyes. They were tender and she was different. She didn’t even look at me throughout the principal’s little introduction.
And the moment our eyes met for the first time, I felt like my heart just dropped down my stomach and I felt my cheeks fluster as well.
“Who is she? And why do I feel nervous all of a sudden?” I queried, cursing within as I sat down on the vacant chair. And one thing I still couldn’t understand was, ‘how her face quickly got stuck in my head.’
