“When Johnny left, he said Ulric asked him to attend the meeting on his behalf. He should be in the middle of a meeting now. I’ll contact him later and ask.”
Tilda had to leave before Johnny returned. Otherwise, once he was back, she wouldn’t be able to leave!
“Alright, Mr. Chow, Mrs. Chow, you can talk to Johnny to understand the situation better. I’ll head back first.”
“What’s the rush? You haven’t had breakfast! I specifically had someone make you breakfast,” Mrs. Chow said with a warm smile, not changing her attitude because of Tilda’s words. “After breakfast, whether you and Johnny are dating or not, I must have him go to the hospital to apologize to your friend! Our family will provide the necessary compensation, and we won’t let you be caught in the middle!”
“It’s fine. I’ll explain it to my friend myself. He will understand.”
Tilda was mainly afraid that if Johnny saw Howard, he might beat him up again instead of apologizing!
With his temperament, anything was possible.
Forcing himself on her, smashing her phone, hitting people-none of these were things a normal person would do.
“Tilda, if Johnny makes a mistake, he needs to take responsibility! Don’t worry. With his father and me here, he won’t dare not to listen to us.” Mrs. Chow was sincere, without any airs of a wealthy lady.
For a moment, Tilda thought how nice it would be if Ulric’s parents were like this.
Then Rosalind and Ulric would surely be living happily together now.
…
Back in Easthaven Bay, Rosalind slept very well.
It seemed that having Ulric by her side greatly improved her sleep quality!
If it weren’t for the noise of the two kids playing, she didn’t know how long she would have slept.
Getting out of bed and quickly freshening up, Rosalind walked out in her robe and saw Ulric making breakfast in the kitchen.
Jake and Floyd were playing catch with each other, laughing cheerfully.
When she looked down…
The expensive carpet was a mess.
Rosalind hurried over to tidy up, putting the toys back in place.
“Mommy, I still want to play!” Floyd ran over with a pout. “Daddy said we can play as much as we want!”
She adapted quickly! She called Ulric “dad” so naturally.
Rosalind sighed and called Jake over.
“Mommy wants to tell you both that your daddy has severe OCD. He doesn’t like the house being messy. You two need to keep things clean and tidy.”
“But Daddy said it’s okay!” Floyd learned to use Ulric as a shield.
“That’s because your daddy loves you. But you need to love him too! Don’t you want him to be happy?”
Floyd blinked and said sincerely. “I do.”
“Then be good and help Mommy clean up, okay?”
Floyd nodded while Jake scoffed from the side. “Mommy, you’re really good at brainwashing!”
Rosalind shook her head, sighing.
“Breakfast is ready,” Ulric announced as he brought the food to the table. He looked up and saw all three of them tidying up toys.
No need to guess. It was definitely Rosalind’s idea.
“Stop cleaning up. I’ll handle it later. Floyd, Jake, come and eat.”
“Hooray! Breakfast!” Floyd cheered and ran off immediately!
Rosalind looked up helplessly at Ulric.
He smiled gently and walked over to hug her from behind. “We’re family. I don’t mind at all, really.”
“No more OCD?”
“I don’t dare have it.”
