I watched him sitting like he was shooting a magazine cover photos, I sat down in another sofa in the office, I looked at him as he did me, suddenly we started laughing together,
“Why are you laughing?”
“You too why?”
“I don’t know your face looks funny”
We laughed more,
“So how was it, did he slipped anything?”
“No, he didn’t, he was saying something about their company trying to get into contract with you”
“Him? I wouldn’t do that”
“Not him, his father, Collins has no hope of getting that company as an inheritance, it’s his sister’s, I think this is a ditch effort to get into his father’s good books but I know the man wouldn’t blink an eye at him”
“Okay then better ”
“So can I ask you to please give it to them, his father and sister are good people, they are complete opposites of him”
“….. Fine, I will look into their proposal when I arrive at the company tomorrow, if it’s good enough, I will give it to them okay?”
“Yes, thank you, I mean it ”
“No problem, so how is the company been since a month?”
“It’s good, these two started their vacation today, and increase in salary too, they were si happy, they both chose the same place to go to”

“For now, I will postpone my vacation, the company is owing me one, I will use it sometime later”

I brought out a lunchbox packed with food, I was supposed eat but I left because I ate outside, he took it and smiled, soon he was out of here.
“Hello Jess, come take these to the editing department ”
“We have a new scoop?”

XAVIER’S POV
I opened the lunch she gave me to view the contents, it was very good looking and salivating, I ate with relish, Jessica is one of the very best cooks I have ever met, her food is so good as always.
I heard a ping in my phone and checked the content, it is the news I told her to get online, she doesn’t waste time at all, she is very prompt in her dealings, all that is left fore to deal with is that Collins guy, I just need to be patient.
“Hello, get me the proposal files of D&S company”
“Okay sir”
“Knock, knock knock ”
“Come in”
“Here is the files sir”
“Okay, you can go, thank you ”
She nodded and left, I opened the files and read through it, it was a very good proposal about the construction our company is handling, I marked it and called the secretary again.
“Come up”
“Knock, knock knock ”
“What the… Come in”
“Sir….”
“What’s up with all the knocking when I sent for you myself ”
“Am sorry sir Xavier ”
“Forget it, arrange a meeting with this company as soon as possible ”
“Okay, sir”
I waved her off, am all done with everything, if am not wrong, Marcus should have something to do with these, it’s obvious but he has been quite these days, no scandal or crime yet, he is definitely planning something and I won’t let him up me on this one again.
MARCUS’S POV
“Babe, how is the country treating you?”
“It’s good, am so popular here and am getting another country’s contract too, I have accepted so I will be going to Paris soon, I will make it to the Broadway soon”

We hanged up and I was all smiles, she is one sexy talented bitch, I think that scandal helped her a lot, I stared at my female secretary as she stood in her lingerie in front of me, she is beautiful, sexy and charming, if my grandfather insists on a wife, am marrying her
