Callie raised her neck with grace, yet her expression was defiant.
He was talking about the news about her and Jamir.
She suddenly smiled, “This is my gift to you, satisfied?”
These words instantly enraged the man in front of her. He leaned closer, his lips burning hot against Callie, making her shiver. “If you have the guts to do it, you should have the guts to face the consequences.”
Callie stepped back, shocked, “Don’t forget where we are!”
“So what?” Nelson laughed. It was summer, and Callie was wearing a dress. When his large hand fell on her fair long legs, she almost collapsed, instinctively grabbing him to avoid falling.
“Nelson! I’ll call the police!” Callie gritted her teeth, trying to control her trembling.
He turned her around, a half-height potted plant concealing their intimacy. Nelson pressed her down, his breath hot on her skin. “If I marry Charlotte, will you marry him?”
Callie trembled uncontrollably, furious. “I’ll send our bed video to her!”
Nelson chuckled against her shoulder. “I didn’t know you recorded videos. Is it exciting?”
Callie’s face turned red. Afraid of being discovered, her whole body tensed, amplifying both pain and pleasure.
“Do you think Jamir would still want you if he knew?” he asked calmly.
Callie bit down on his shoulder, blood seeping through his white shirt. “You’re despicable!”
“Really want to marry him?” Nelson grabbed her neck, revealing his cruelty.
“So what if I do? We’re already divorced!”
With those words, he increased his force. “Then try it. If you dare to marry, I’ll make the Quinn family raise my child.”
Callie’s pupils contracted as she pushed him hard, but the more she pushed, the more intense he became.
His large hand fell on her waist and abdomen, gripping tightly. Nelson whispered, “Scream.”
Callie clenched her teeth, refusing to make a sound.
His fingers forced into her mouth, making her open it. “I trained you. I know your reactions better than you do. Scream!”
Callie wished she could die.
They hadn’t done this for a long time, and this sudden encounter in such a setting made her feel Nelson’s intense desire, as if he wanted to press her into his body.
Her voice broke, “You’ll regret this.”
Nelson heard her clearly and gently stroked her cheek with his thumb. “If that day comes, I’ll kneel before you.”
That meant it would never happen.
Just then, a familiar voice came from outside. “Where is Mr. Oconnor?”
It was Jaquan! He was back!
Callie’s body tensed even more.
Then came the servant’s voice. “Mr. Scott, I just saw Mr. Oconnor go to the rooftop.”
“The rooftop?” Jaquan questioned.
“He took Miss Regan’s friend.”
The atmosphere instantly fell into a brief yet eerie silence.
Jaquan said something that made the servant leave, followed by the sound of footsteps coming upstairs.
Callie couldn’t convince herself to accept such an absurd meeting. She gripped Nelson’s arm tightly, veins bulging, and whispered angrily, “Let me go!”
He tightened his grip further. “Let him see.”
Tears streamed down Callie’s face uncontrollably. “Let go!”
Nelson didn’t speak again. He grabbed her chin and kissed her fiercely. The sound of their lips and teeth clashing was minimal, but his aggression was intense, like a beast attacking without restraint.
