The ten Super Warriors stood tall, each gripping steel blades, their eyes gleaming with a bloodthirsty light.
Two of them charged at Chris, their steel blades slicing through the air with terrifying speed. The blades narrowly missed him, cutting down beside him with deadly precision.
Chris’s face darkened. Had he not reacted in time, those strikes might have killed him outright.
With a cold snort, Chris gripped the Dragon Slayer and swung it toward the two Super Warriors.
Boom!
A deafening clash rang out. Chris felt the impact reverberating through his hands, as though his sword had struck an iron wall.
Despite his strength, Chris couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his mouth. The two Super Warriors wore armor so impenetrable that it seemed impervious to blades or bullets.
Though he couldn’t kill them outright, Chris managed to send them flying back. He knew, however, that even injured, these Super Warriors wouldn’t feel pain. The only way to stop them was to kill them.
One of the Super Warriors lunged forward, blade gleaming as it slashed down at Chris with incredible speed.
Chris frowned, his reaction almost instinctive. But as he got a closer look at the face of his opponent, his expression froze in shock.
“Judge?”
The Super Warrior before him wasn’t just anyone-it was Judge, one of the three legendary international assassins.
Chris’s mind raced back to the past. Judge had once been hired by Daniel Williams to hunt him down, forcing Chris off a cliff. Later, Chris had led his army to the Hall of Death headquarters to exact revenge.
During the battle at the Hall of Death, Chris and Judge had clashed in a fierce duel. Judge’s life had ended then, shot dead by Stephen Rivers. At the time, Chris had been puzzled-why had Stephen killed Judge?
Now it was clear. Stephen had killed Judge to turn him into a Super Warrior.
The Judge standing before Chris now was no longer a man but a soulless killing machine. His eyes were void of life, filled only with a murderous frenzy. A chilling aura of death radiated from him, proof that he was already among the dead.
Judge’s body, once powerful in life, had been the perfect vessel for creating a Super Warrior.
Chris couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy. In life, Judge had been the world’s top assassin. After joining Daniel Williams, he had risen to a high rank within the Hall of Death. Yet, even then, he had been nothing more than a pawn.
Now, in death, Judge had been reduced to a grotesque monstrosity, neither human nor ghost.
Chris sighed as he looked at Judge, who now resembled a walking corpse.
In life, they had been adversaries. To think their battle would continue even after Judge’s death.
Chris glanced over at Lord Valerian, worry flickering in his eyes.
Though Chris knew that Lord Valerian, a warrior of the previous generation, possessed formidable strength, his decade-long imprisonment in the Obsidian Citadel left his current abilities uncertain.
Facing the onslaught of two Super Warriors, Lord Valerian was clearly under pressure but still holding his ground.
Seeing that Lord Valerian was safe for now, Chris exhaled in relief.
Suddenly, another Super Warrior charged at him.
Chris tightened his grip on the Dragon Slayer and swung it down with immense force.
Over time, Chris’s strength had grown immensely. His trial at Camp Monster had significantly enhanced his abilities, and his study of the Dragon Emblem fragments had deepened his understanding of the Lord Dragon scriptures.
Yet, even with this progress, killing these Super Warriors proved a daunting task.
While Chris and Lord Valerian each faced two Super Warriors, the remaining six were engaged by tens of thousands of Death Guards.
These Super Warriors weren’t just fast-they were nearly indestructible.
One Super Warrior alone wouldn’t have concerned Chris, but dealing with two at once forced him onto the defensive.
Chris attacked and dodged in quick succession, the Dragon Slayer slashing relentlessly.
The Dragon Slayer was a massive weapon, weighing well over a hundred pounds. Combined with Chris’s raw strength, each strike carried tens of thousands of pounds of force.
Even the Super Warriors’ impenetrable armor began to buckle under the relentless blows.
One strike.
Another.
And another.
With each swing, Chris chipped away at their defenses. Gradually, pieces of their armor started to fall.
Chris couldn’t deny that the Dragon Slayer, passed down by his master, truly lived up to its reputation. The blade could slice through iron like butter.
Moreover, it seemed the Dragon Slayer held secrets yet to be uncovered.
Seizing an opportunity, Chris delivered a devastating blow, sending one of the Super Warriors hurtling into a massive boulder.
Boom!
The impact shattered the boulder into fragments.
Without hesitation, Chris closed the distance and swung the Dragon Slayer once more, severing the Super Warrior’s head in a single strike.
With one enemy down, only Judge remained.
Chris raised his head, his gaze locking onto Judge.
“Judge,” he said coldly, “though I wasn’t the one who killed you, and though you’ve been turned into a Super Warrior, whether dead or alive, I will kill you. No one can stop me.”
With that declaration, Chris charged at Judge, gripping the Dragon Slayer with both hands and swinging it with all his might.
Judge raised his steel blade to block the attack.
Clang!
The sound of metal shattering echoed as Judge’s blade broke into two under the force of Chris’s strike.
The Dragon Slayer continued its path, striking Judge’s body with a resounding crash.
“Roar!”
Judge let out a beast-like growl, swiping at Chris with claws as sharp as daggers.
Chris responded with relentless ferocity, striking again and again.
Each blow was heavier than the last, fueled by sheer determination.
Though Judge’s neck was protected by armor, the relentless onslaught finally began to strip it away.
The Dragon Slayer screamed through the air, slicing so fiercely it seemed to tear the atmosphere itself.
Boom!
With a thunderous strike, the Dragon Slayer finally cleaved through Judge’s neck, shattering his armor and severing his head.
Breathing heavily, Chris stood over Judge’s lifeless body.
Chris’s strength was unmatched by most, so long as he didn’t face an Aetherbinding cultivator. Yet even he hadn’t anticipated how formidable Judge’s defenses would be. It had taken countless strikes to claim victory.
Drained but victorious, Chris turned to look at Lord Valerian.
At that moment, Lord Valerian delivered a decisive blow, slaying one of the Super Warriors with his sword.
Though victorious, Lord Valerian was battered and bloodied, his body bearing the marks of the battle. Yet, rather than faltering, he fought with even greater ferocity.
