She looked up at him and her eyes shone with unshed tears.”H-ho.. w d-did y.. y.. you get t-this.”She stammered.
“I have my ways. I want you to wear them today you look beautiful wearing them, getting them back is nothing compared to seeing how happy you are upon seeing them. You have given me so much more, don’t cry or else you going to mess up your make up.”
She took them out of the box where they were nestling they even look brand new. She put it on with shaky hands.”I don’t have anything to give you.”
“You don’t have to. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. How can one person be so beautiful.”
“Stop saying such things you’re making me blush and shy.”
“I’m only speaking the truth, are you ready to be my wife.”
“Maybe. Alot of things will change if they haven’t already I don’t think I’m ready to live in the public eye or raise my baby with the whole world knowing.”
“I know it will be hard but as time goes on you’ll get used to it. If you like we can find a place where no one will find us easily.”
“No I don’t want us to leave your mom alone it’s okay I’ll adjust I’ve never turned away from a challenge. I’ve been meaning to ask you.”
“About what?”
“When am I going to sign a pre-nup.”
“You not going to.”He told her.”Ready?”
She nodded.”Why.”
They left and continued the conversation in the elevator.”I don’t want you to if I thought that it was necessary I could’ve let you sign one when I asked you to marry me.”
“You do know without it I can claim half of everything you own.”
“Yes. And I do know you’ll never do such a thing the woman I’ve met and come to know isn’t capable of doing something like that and what I love most about her is that she’s not money hungry.”
He gave her a long passionate kiss that made her melt and crave for more, she held onto him.”I want you.”She whispered.
“There’s no time mi amor.”He whispered back in her ear.
“When will you teach me spanish. The words you always say sounds so sweet.”
“Soon.”The elevator pinged and they got out.”We gonna be taking a rental car to avoid drawing attention to us and someone will be driving us. Everyone knows my cars and the driver I use I don’t want any unnecessary complications today.”
“Someone thought of every last detail.”
“I hate it when things don’t go according to plan that’s why I take care of every last detail.”He opened the car door for her and she climbed into the range rover, seconds later he joined her and they were on their way to go and get married.
Three hours later they were on their way back home and they were officially husband and wife. She looked at the diamond solitaire in a platinum setting it must have cost a fortune the ring was beautiful and fitted her finger perfectly as if it was made for her, when she had asked him how he knew her size he had simply shrugged and said.
“There’s nothing I don’t know about you.”She still can’t believe that he was her husband this gorgeous hunk of a man with his too much sex appeal and good looks, her future has changed and alot of things has too she’s going to spend the rest of her life with this man he is the father of her baby and also the man that she has fallen deeply for.
She felt him brush her cheek softly and she looked at him. “You look troubled.”
“Why would I be.”She gave him a reassuring smile.”I guess I still can’t believe that I’m your wife. When will I receive my list of do’s and don’t.”
He chuckled.”Sense of humor. I like that. But you don’t need one so far you’ve been excellent and you don’t need to change for no one. Just be yourself as always that’s enough for me.”
“Where to from now?”She asked.
“Leave that to me.”He winked at her.
Her cell buzzed and she answered when she saw it was Cathy.
“Where are you?”Cathy asked.
“Why.”She responded.”Is something wrong.”
“Nope. I miss you. I thought maybe we could do lunch if you can.”
She glanced at Nico and saw he was busy on his tablet.”Of course. I can come over to your place.”
“I’ll be waiting.”Cathy told her and dropped the call.
They have just gotten married and should be celebrating she wonders how he would feel if she can leave.”That was Cathy.”She told him.”Do you mind dropping me off at her place.”
“Of course not. As long as I’ll be having you to myself tonight.” He pulled her ontop of his lap.
She gave a soft gasp and look ahead at the driver.”Nicolas. The driver is here and can see us. What are you doing?”
“I’m about to kiss my beautiful wife.”Before she could protest he covered her mouth with his in a long passionate kiss that left her breathless and panting after several long minutes. She shifted slightly and placed her head in between his neck and shoulder till she caught her breath. It’s then that she felt his erection up against her thighs, her head immediately shot up and she stared at him.
“Don’t blame me that’s what you do to me… making me lose control. You make me forget everything and everyone around me.”
“I thought only I was feeling that way.”She said.
“Not only you corazon…”He admitted.”You do something unto me that I cannot explain and it scares me.”
“It’s okay to be scared.”She told him.
“Not for me. I hate not being in control of anything.”
“I’m sorry.”She said. He looked at her confused.”It’s our wedding day and I’m leaving you.”
“It’s okay. I have some things that I need to take care of at the office we will pick this up later on. Let me know what time you’ll be leaving Cathy’s then I’ll come and pick you up.”
“There’s no need.”She said.
“I know but I want to.”He insisted.”When will you let me do certain things for you without arguing with me.”
“I’m used to doing things for myself.”
“Then get used to me taking care of you.”
“I bet this is a fight I’m going to lose.”She stroked his face tenderly.
“Allow me to be there for you.”He put his hand on her abdomen.”For both of you.”His tone is gentle and soft, she had never thought that she would love him this much that’s why despite the fact that she loves him so unconditionally she has been guarding herself from him not wanting him too close but right now she’ll let down her barriers and see where it will take them and whatever they share.
“I’ll allow you to but on one condition.”
“Should I be scared.”
“I’m going to tell your mother that we got married I won’t be able to lie to her she has been so good to me.”
“You were going to do that anyway but it’s okay we’ll tell her together at dinner tonight.”She kissed him.”I can’t wait for tonight to have you all to myself.”He whispered in her ear.
