“I know. I love her innocence.”He kissed her again but on her cheek this time.
“Good that you are here I was just asking your future wife when is the wedding. I was thinking why don’t you two get married with Bella and Santiago.”
“Yes brother I was thinking the same.”Bella said emerging from the closet.
“No.”Nicolas told them both.”It’s your day sis and no one should spoil it. All the attention should be focused on you.”
“Your brother is right Bella it’s your day and all eyes should be on you and no one else. We will have our day don’t worry.”
“The matter is closed now.”Nicolas said.”Now can I take my beautiful fiancee if you all are done here.”
“Of course.”His mother said.”We’ll see you at dinner.”
He put his arm around her shoulder and they left.”Thank you.”
“For what?”He asked.
“Your mom wanted to know when the wedding will be and I had no idea what to say I didn’t want to lie to her she’s been so good to me.”
“My caring sweet one. Concern about others feelings you’re a good person.”
“And you’re a good man my stallion.”
“Stallion!”He laughed.
“Yes. You’re strong, brave, handsome and not to mention sweet.”
He let her enter his room first.”I didn’t know I was all those things.”He put his arms around her.
“For me you are and more.”
He kissed her.”How lucky am I.”He quickly let her go and fetched something on his lounger infront of the bed.”This is for you, when I saw it I thought of you.”He handed her a red rose.
“You shouldn’t have.”
“Can I not spoil you.”
“It’s beautiful.”She inhaled the rosy scent of it.
“It reminds me of you, your sweet rosy scent that’s stuck with me and something that I’ll never forget.”
She kissed him.”For someone who isn’t the romantic type you’ve certainly done alot of things these past few days that proves otherwise.”
“You’re unique and special and deserve nothing but the best I may not be able to give you my heart but I can at least show you that you do mean alot to me.”
She felt a small stab of pain on her heart when he said that, she had known from the beginning where things stood with them so she can’t blame him if he doesn’t love her or if she has fallen inlove with him it wasn’t his fault only hers.
“I’m glad to know that.”She said instead.”You’re home early. Did something happen?”
“Can I not miss you. Are you the only one allowed to.”
“That’s a first you saying that you missed me. Now I definitely know something’s up. Come on talk.”
He wanted to tell her about Anastasia and their past relationship, he wanted to tell her about his past he wanted her to know everything but didn’t have the courage to tell her so instead he embraced her more tightly and took comfort in her softness and in her warmth.”Promise me that you’ll never leave?”His tone is full of emotion and she tried to look at him but he kept her head still.”Promise me.”
“I promise. Are you sure everything is okay?”
He only nodded.”Let’s get ready before dinner starts I wanna be alone with you for a while.”
“Sure.”She said and left for her room but he pulled her back and said.
“Get ready here I’ll get clothes for you.”
“You not planning on having your wicked way with me. Now are you?”
“What if I want to.”
“Then I’ll be waiting.”She headed for the bathroom and undressed as she went giving him a glimpse of what will be waiting for him, he wasted no time instead of going and fetching her clothes he pulled her back and swept her up and carried her to bed. There had been something different about his love making today Reina thought as she put on her earrings.
She can see there was something on his mind but he refuses to talk about it she pulled her hair up ontop of her head she can only hope that nothing will go wrong. He came and stood behind her.
“Ready?”She nodded and stood up.”There are so many things I wanna share with you.”He told her and held her face in both his hands.
“I’m here when ever you gonna need to talk.”
“You’re so darn good and patient. I don’t deserve you.”
“Me too.”
“We need to talk and soon I promise I’ll tell you all about me and the woman I had before you.”
She knew in the past he had been a busy man but that wasn’t any of her concern because they weren’t together at the time, everyone has their own secrets and past life.”I don’t have to hear about…-”
“I know.”He cut her off.”You’re one of the most important people in my life.”
“You know I looked you up online and found out everything I need to know and that was enough for me.”
“You are going to be the mother of my child I owe you at least that and don’t deny me.”He placed his hand on her stomach. “We’re gonna be a family so there shouldn’t be any secrets between us.”He gently stroked her face and she leaned into it.
“You so responsive when I touch you and you make it hard for me to control myself.”
She snapped her eyes open.”Dinner.”She breathed in a husky voice. They made their way downstairs and found his mother was already waiting for them Bella and Santiago weren’t there. He pulled her chair out for her and she sat down, he did the same.
“Aren’t Bella and Santiago joining us?”Nico wanted to know.
“No. Santiago had a late meeting and asked Bella to join him for dinner. Why you asking?”
“I needed to talk to her about something important.”
“Such as.”His mother waited for him to elaborate.
“I wanna give her my fifty percent shares in Berninia.”
“That’s good news.”Reina said smiling.”Does she know.”
“Not yet. I haven’t gotten a chance to talk to her.”
“Why don’t you give it to her as a wedding gift.”She suggested.
“That hasn’t crossed my mind but it’s actually a good thought.”
“What did you have in mind?”She asked.
“Paying for their honeymoon all expenses paid or buying them a house.”
“Don’t you think that maybe Santiago would wanna do that for his wife instead of her brother.”
“She’s my sister. I only want what’s best for her.”
“No one is disputing that. But how do you think Santiago will feel, he’ll think you’re trying to undermine him or make it look like he can’t take care of Bella. Is that what you want?”
