She could see he’s raging with anger and looked anywhere but at him. She was gonna tell him but not now and how did he find out she asked herself.”Who told you?”She asked him instead.
“That’s not relevant right now.”He took her back upstairs.
“What are you doing. Where are you taking me?”She said. He was pulling her and she barely kept up as he was dragging her up the steps. A few minutes later they were back in his bedroom, he slammed the door shut so hard that she was sure everyone must have heard it.
“Let go of my hand.”She said but instead of letting go he pulled her up against him and twisted her arm at her back.
“How dare you lie to me.”He asked her softly.”What did you think huh that I won’t find out, what game do you think you’re playing at here.”
She struggled against him.”I’m not playing at anything. Let go of me!”His grip on her tighten.
“When were you planning on telling me.”
“Why do you care… you were the one who said you didn’t want any attachments. Why do you give a damn now!”She flung at him.
“This is my child we’re talking about here.”He said in a cold voice that send chills down her spine.”Who has my blood running through their veins what right do you think you have to keep that away from me!”
“I was gonna tell you.”She finally admitted.”I was just waiting for the right time, after we spoke the last time I thought it would be a burden for you if you were gonna have a child especially with a woman you hardly know. Let’s face it Nicolas you’re way out of my league and I’m not your type.”

“I’m going along with you and from now on you’ll be using our family doctor I’ll set up the appointment for next week.”

“I hope you’re taking your vitamins and from now on what ever you need come to me and tell me.”
“There’s no need for that I can take care of myself.”She reminded him.”I don’t want anything from you I’ve managed fine without you and I’ll continue to. I wanna go home now and don’t even try to stop me.”She warned.
“I thought I made myself clear earlier on when I said you not going anywhere.”
“Would you stop trying to micro-manage me. I’m not gonna sleep with you if that is what you had in mind.”
He slowly moved towards her.”Wanna bet.”He challenged.

She didn’t even try to resist him because fighting him would be pointless she wanted him and had been craving for him the whole day. Two weeks later she was exiting the doctor’s office with Nicolas for some reason he had told her to postpone and go the following week instead. The second they were out of the building and standing outside cameras began flashing almost blinding her vision she put up her hand to cover her eyes. “I did.”He said and put the car out of gear before reversing slowly and driving off.
“What!”She gasped.”And why would you do that.”
“You’ll find out soon enough.”
“I wanna know now, I think I’ve had enough surprises for a day.”
“Patience…”Was all he said to her and she knew he isn’t gonna say anything further. The rest of the drive to the house was spend in silence. She didn’t want to get angry at him today had been a special day because for the first time she had heard the baby’s heart beat and it had been amazing. The emotion that had welled up inside of her was unexplainable. She is going to be a mother and that was priceless no one can take that away, she had even seen the emotion that had crossed Nico’s face when he had heard it too.
He’s gonna be a fantastic father she had no doubt but will they raise the baby in separate homes and argue who will have him on weekends and holidays… not to mention birthdays. They are gonna have to come up with an arrangement.
“We are gonna have to discuss how we gonna raise the baby in separate homes.”
He glanced at her for a second before looking back on the road.”That’s not going to happen. We will be raising him or her together and under the same roof.”He pulled up the driveway and switched off the engine.
“I will not be living here with you and be your play thing while we raise our child together.”He took of her elastic band from her ponytail and her whole hair fell loose around her shoulders.
“You won’t have to because you and I are getting married.” She must’ve heard him wrong she told herself. He will never marry her she’s below his status and not to mention she isn’t even his type.
She laughed at him.”You’re out of your mind. You’ve completely lost it I’m not marrying you.”She got out of the car and went inside the house leaving him behind. She heard his footsteps as he was following her.
“What choice do you have?”He asked her.”I’m not planning on raising my baby out of wedlock and I can promise you now fighting me on this will only end badly for you… Trust me.”
