“We’ll see.”Then he was gone leaving her to stare after him a few seconds passed before she turned and went to the studio. Bella’s dress is half way done she has been pushing for these past two weeks so that she can be done in time before the wedding date. She has also done alot of thinking and has tried hard to avoid Nico because everytime when he is near her she can’t think or do anything properly. She has been thinking of going away for a few weeks when her job is done here just to clear her mind and get clarity on a few things. Slowly but surely she’s falling for the one man that’s forbidden a man that could make and break her, that’s why she’s avoiding him but he seems to know her every move when she turns he is there.
She hasn’t even been home since he had found out about her pregnancy he had insisted she stay at their house where he could keep an eye on her and now she is occupying their guest bedroom. It really is hard saying no to him especially when he gives her that sexy wicked smile of his… in three weeks time Bella will be walking down the aisle with her prince charming and she hopes she’ll be able to see her in her dress. Her cell rang and she saw it was Cathy.
“What’s this about you getting married and not telling me?”
“Hello to you too Cath… and I’m not getting married if I was don’t you think I would’ve informed you.”There was a long pause.
“I guess you right but it’s all over the news, you and that sexy god of a man of yours. Just to be sure will you marry him if he asked?”
“I don’t know Cath.”
“What do you mean, you don’t know. You having his baby aren’t you and I thought you liked him.”
“After what happen between you and Logan I thought you would understand.”
“Reina you’re about to have a child with the man are you sure you wanna go through that alone, raising a child is hard work for two parents just imagine what those other single parents are going through it’s tough and are you ready for that.”
She kept quiet for a while before answering.”Thanks for the concern Cath but I’ll deal with this in my own way. I love you friend and never stop standing by me.”
“Reina…. you not planning on doing anything crazy right.”
“No I won’t and besides how can I when I have you to tell me not to.”
“Just making sure. When can we meet up for lunch it’s been a while since I’ve seen you.”
“Soon I’ll call you. I have to go now we’ll chat soon.”
“Okay take care. Bye.”Immediately after Cathy’s call she received a call from the bank.
“I know I’m still behind in some of the payments but I promise I’ll make a plan just give me more time.”She said to the bank manager.
“That’s not the reason why I’m calling Miss Cruise.”He told her.
“It isn’t.”She asked astounded.”Th… then why are you calling.”
“We’d like to say thank you for repaying the outstanding amount including the interest rates. We apologise if we’ve caused you any inconvenience but I was just doing my job.”
Payments? She didn’t pay anything they must be mistaken.”I haven’t done any payments. Are you sure your information is correct.”
“A hundred percent ma’am. Have a good day and once again my apologies if we’ve caused you any inconvenience.”
The line went dead after that.”Nicolas…”She whispered to herself. She tried calling him but his cell is off. She went to his mother and asked her if she knew where he was.
“No my child. Do you need anything?”
“No I just needed to talk to him that’s all.”
“Are you sure? Is there something wrong with the baby.”
“No, no the baby is fine.”She quickly reassured her.
“I’ve been meaning to ask you are you sure that you want to marry my son. What I mean is. He’s not forcing you or anything right.”
“No ma’am. Yes I agree that Nicolas can be stubborn and persistent but I know he’ll never force me to do anything I don’t want to.”
“You have a good heart child. Lord knows what my son has done to deserve you I’ll be honoured if you’ll become my daughter-in-law. Every mother wishes for her son to find a good woman who’ll support him and stand by him I’m happy to say that my son has found that woman in you. May both of you lead a happy married life.”
Reina was at a loss of words so instead she gave her a hug. “Thank you Mrs Garcia for everything.”
“No thank you my child I know you’ll take good care of my son and grandchild.”Reina is close to tears and forced them down. Nicolas’s mother is under the impression that all is well and that she has already said yes and that couldn’t be further from the truth but she also doesn’t have the heart to disappoint her Reina can see the happiness in her eyes and didn’t want to take that away from her. They pulled apart.
“You know you’re the first woman that my son has ever brought to our home and the only one that he has introduce to the family.”
“Well I wasn’t aware of that… what I mean was..-”
“I know exactly what you mean dear. I know how he used to lead his life before he met you I’m his mother after all. But I also knew that one day he’ll find that special woman whom he will bring home even though he kept on denying it.”
“I don’t think men like Nicolas will ever be controlled by a woman or be held back thank you for believing in me.”
“Don’t thank me.”Maria came and said that there was a call.”Take care dear.”Nicolas is very smart Reina thought as she made her way to her room upstairs he played this whole thing out to make it look like she had already said yes when he had ambushed her this morning with the news, she quietly closed the door behind her and sat down on the bed. She sighed and dragged her hand through her hair maybe a nice warm bath will calm her down she thought as she walked in her en-suite bath. She filled the bath with water and undressed while she waited for it to get full. She fasten up her hair ontop of her head so that it won’t get wet. Along with staying here Nicolas has also bought her a whole new wardrobe along with shoes jewelries and accessories she had argued with him for almost an hour because she had refused to take anything from him. She had gone to her apartment to get her clothes but when she had gone through her cupboards it had been empty. Now here she is staying in his house wearing clothes that he had bought for her what does that make her, she slid into the water and took comfort in the way it soothed her body and calmed her down. She might as well be his mistress since she’s staying here like one…. and it’s been two days since they’ve made love and she was aching with need but won’t give him that satisfaction of knowing, she sank a bit further down the water so that it reached her neck…. Mmmmm she thought this is nice and closed her eyes. “Ah!”She yelped and quickly sat upright when she felt someone enter her water. She’s face to face with Nico and he’s completely naked. “What are you doing in here?”
“Shush.”He told her and started kissing her neck.”You smell so good.”He whispered in her ear.”And I love it.”She murmured as he made his way down to her breast and played with her nipples his mouth enclosed over one while the other kept it’s rhythm.
