AT NIGHT
RUSSIA
“Hmm, the air in Russia feels nice.” Nora said as they walked out of the plane. Lily chuckled and shook her head.
They walked towards the cars waiting and Nora paused as they were about to get to them.
“Don’t tell me those are Axel’s men.” Nora said, seeing how scary they looked.
“No, they are my men.” Lily replied.
“You really got yourself involved in a lot of shit.” Nora chuckled.
“I thought you couldn’t get through to any of your men.” Max said to Lily and she nodded in response.
“Yeah, but I was able to get to just them. They work just for me.”
“So, we will be staying at your house here?” Nora asked.
“No. We will be staying at a hotel, Axel made reservations already. It’s not safe at my place.”
“Can anyone tell me what we are dealing with here?” Nora asked.
“No one asked you to come.” Max said and walked away, Axel walked after him.
“What was that about?” Lily asked and moved closer to Nora.
“He is mad at me because I am here.” She sighed and Lily smiled.
“Don’t be sad. We are going to enjoy the few weeks we are going to spend here. I have a lot of crazy places to show you.”
“Oh, I love you so much.” Nora groaned and Lily chuckled.
“Easy though. There are limits to things you can do now, you are married, remember?”
“Yeah, I know.” She rolled her eyes and they both laughed.
They got to the hotel and settled in, Max and Nora shared a suite while Lily and Axel shared one.
Nora was in her suite with Max, she watched him as he unpacked his bag. She was sitting on the bed. She had tried talking to him but he wasn’t responding.
She slowly stood up and walked behind him, she wrapped her arms around his waist and placed her head on his back.
Max sighed and stood upright.
“I’m sorry.” She muttered.
Max slowly turned to her and pulled her into a hug.
“I know you needed a distraction too but this isn’t the best one. It is dangerous here Nora, I don’t want you getting hurt.” Max said softly as he creased her hair.
“I know but I will be fine. I have you here to protect me.” She replied.
He pulled away from the hug and cupped her cheeks.
“So, am I your baby again?” Nora asked with a wide smile and he kissed her lips.
“Always.”

Lily stared at herself in the mirror, she was in the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her chest. She was done taking a shower and she had a lot to think about.
She just hoped nothing would go wrong. She needed to find out what was going on first before she could know what to do.
She felt arms wrapped around her waist and she flinched.
“It’s just me. It’s me.” Axel whispered and kissed her neck. She smiled and closed her eyes.
“You look so hot.” He whispered and Lily giggled.
“Really?” She teased and turned to him.
“Hmm, my wife is so beautiful.” Axel muttered as he kissed her all over her face. Lily giggled happily.
Axel suddenly carried her in a bridal style and she screamed a little, he carried her into the room and placed her on the bed.
Before she could speak, he crashed his lips on hers and kissed her roughly. Lily tried to touch him but he held both her hands and pinned them to the bed.
Lily felt uncomfortable but she tried to ignore it.
She tried reciprocating but couldn’t, Axel was in control.
She forcefully pulled away from the kiss and gasped heavily.
“Axel.” She called as he kissed her neck, he groaned in response.
“Axel.” She called again with tears welling up in her eyes.
“Axel, please let go of me.” She raised her voice and he hurriedly let go of her, he looked at her and noticed she had tears in her eyes.
“Lily.” He called but she hurriedly stood up and ran into the bathroom. She leaned on it and slowly sank to the floor as she breathed heavily and memories came flooding in again.

MONTHS AGO
Nadia groaned in her sleep as she felt pains all over her body, she slowly opened her eyes and noticed she was in a room. She looked around and tried to get up but she groaned in pain immediately.
Her hands were tied to each edge of the bed she was on, same as her legs too. She looked down at her injured leg and noticed a cloth wrapped around it to stop the bleeding.
“Fuck.” She muttered and looked at her cuffed hands.
She recalled the person she saw before passing out and she scoffed.
“No fucking way it is him.” She mumbled and rolled her eyes.
The door to the room suddenly opened and she turned to it. She saw the same person she saw before passing out and she raised her brows.
She thought Axel was the most good-looking man she had ever seen. The man in her presence is as good looking at Axel.
He was in ripped jeans and had just a shirt on but the buttons were loose, she could see his perfect chest and abs. His hair, he had almost the same hair as Axel.
Nadia was lost staring at him as he walked fully into the room, he took a seat on the couch close to the bed and stared at her. He had a cigarette in his hand, he slowly took a drag and exhaled as he puffed out smoke. He wasn’t looking at her, she could see his side view perfectly, the dragon tattoo on his neck too.
“I believe you have heard of me.” He said huskily and Nadia gulped as she felt chills all over her body.
“El… El Diablo?” She stuttered and he looked at that.
“Well, look at that. I am quite famous.” He said. He had this cold expression on, she couldn’t read him.
“What?” Nadia muttered. She was surprised, he wasn’t what she was expecting.
She was expecting a middle-aged person, like Anastasia. No doubt this man was older than Axel but it was obvious it was just a few years. This man looked like he was in his early thirties but at the same time, one could say he was in his twenties.
“I know. I get this reaction a lot.” He sighed. He suddenly moved closer to Nadia and she flinched a little.
“Easy kitten. You are mine, now.”
