Nadia pulled over in Axel’s mansion and got out of her car, she rushed into the house and met Axel in the living room.
He was on a phone call, he ended it as he noticed her presence.
“Tell me it’s a joke and they are not actually missing.” She said,
“Does it look like I am joking?” Axel asked with a stern look.
“What the hell? How are they missing?” Nadia raised her voice.
“They never got to school, when I showed up to pick them up, Kender’s friend told me they never got to school.”
“What? I thought you always drop them off.”
“I had something urgent to attend to so the chauffeur took them.”
“What? You were supposed to drop them off no matter what!” Nadia yelled at him.
“Don’t you fucking yell at me. I didn’t know something was going to happen, it’s their regular chauffeur.” Axel yelled back at her.
“And where is he?”
“He is missing too.” Axel replied and Nadia groaned loudly
The door opened and Max rushed in with Nora.
Nora looked at Nadia and looked away immediately as she was about to turn to her. She was a little scared to look at her, she had heard a lot about her.
Axel’s phone rang and he looked at it.
“Who is it?” Max asked but he didn’t answer and picked up the call.
“Did you get anything?” Axel asked.
“No sir but we will keep looking.” He replied and Axel ended the call.
“It was one of our men.” Axel replied and Nadia scoffed.
“Don’t tell dad yet. I don’t want him turning the city upside down.” Axel said to Nora.
“Actually, I kind of told him already and he called the cops too.” Nora replied.
“Of course, the bitch has a big mouth.” Nadia scoffed and Nora turned to her.
“What? Excuse me?” Nora asked.
“Oh, you didn’t hear me the first time? I said the bitch has a big mouth.” She said again and Nora glared at her.
“Says a mother who is thirsty for revenge instead of focusing on her kids.” Nora said back and Nadia chuckled and took a step closer to her.
“You know, I can break every bone in your body right now and… ”
“Woah, woah.” Max called and stood in front of Nora.
“Take it easy, Lily.” He said to her and she scoffed.
“I get that we are all mad and worried here so let’s just stay calm.” Max said and Nora scoffed.
“Worried? Did you just say we are all worried? Look at her, does she look worried to you? Who knows maybe she has them? She is so desperate to get back at us, she can do anything dumb!” Nora yelled.
Nadia suddenly moved Max out of the way and grabbed Nora’s arm roughly, she pinned her face to the wall and pulled her arm behind her.
“You know, I can show you how desperate I am by making sure your arm never works again.” She replied as she pinned her face harder to the wall and Nora groaned in pain.
“That’s enough.” Axel ordered and Nadia scoffed before letting go of her.
“Whoever took them wants something from me and they would eventually call.” Axel said and Nadia scoffed.
“So we would just wait?” Nadia asked.
“Who said anything about waiting?” Axel asked back as he grabbed his car keys.
“We all know El Diablo did it right?” Max asked.
“Who is El Diablo?” Nora asked.
“Ugh, fucking keep up bitch.” Nadia replied but Nora didn’t say anything back. She was scared too.
“El Diablo isn’t someone you can just find, only people who work for him know where to find him.” Nadia said.
“And that is why I am paying Dexter Robbin a visit.” Axel replied and walked out of the house.
Nadia was about to rush after him but paused and looked at Max.
“You guys have connections with the cops right?” Nadia asked.
“Yes.”
“Get a cop and go to every place that has security cameras before reaching their school or check the streets. Something will pop up.” She said before rushing out of the house after Axel.
Nora scoffed immediately she got out and ran her hand through her hair.
“So she is suddenly powerful now.” She scoffed.
“She made a difference in ten years and you did nothing but fuck around.” Max replied and Nora chuckled.
“What? Are you still pained I dumped you?” She asked and Max ignored her and then walked out of the house.
Nadia glanced at Axel as he drove, he kept a stern look and drove fast.
“What are you going to do?” Nadia asked but he didn’t give her a response. She could tell he was mad, so mad.
“You know, you could have driven like this days ago when we were about to get killed.” She said,
“Not now, Lily.” He replied sternly and took a rough turn.
They arrived at Dexter’s warehouse and Axel walked out of the car. Nadia hurriedly got out and ran after him.
“Axel, wait!” She yelled. He was mad and she knew him so well, he would do anything at that moment.
He walked into the warehouse and met Dexter and a few of his men.
“Wow, look who is here. Blackwell… ” Dexter trailed off as Axel pulled out his gun and shot his leg. He yelled in pain and his men pulled out the gun and pointed it at him and Nadia.
Axel ignored them and grabbed Dexter as he groaned in pain, he grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him roughly out of the warehouse.
His men rushed after them and Nadia also did.
Axel placed the gun on his forehead and Dexter trembled.
“Tell your fucking men to lower their guns or I will blow your head off.”
“Drop the guns.” Dexter yelled and they did immediately.
“Great. Now, I want you to respond immediately when I speak.” Axel said but Dexter didn’t respond, he stepped on the leg he shot and Dexter screamed in pain.
“Okay, okay.” He yelled.
“Where are my kids?” He asked but Dexter was too confused to respond, Axel hit his face with the gun and he groaned in pain.
“Where is El Diablo hiding my kids?”
“I… I don’t know what you are talking about… ” Dexter trailed off as Axel hit him again and his lips turned bloody.
“Don’t tell me that bullshit. Where are my kids? And where the fuck is El Diablo?” He yelled.
“I am telling the truth. I don’t know. I don’t think El Diablo knows too because he didn’t give any order to take your kids.” Dexter replied.
Axel nodded and hit him again, he passed out immediately and Axel stood up. Dexter’s men rushed to him.
Nadia stood next to Axel and stared at him.
She slowly patted his shoulder and smiled at him.
“Good to have you back.”
