Before Axel could give a response, she pulled away from him and ended up with Dexter again.
“Hmm, is it just me or you got more pretty?” He asked with a smile and Nadia rolled her eyes at him. They switched partners and she ended up with Mr. Blackwell.
“Blackwell.” She called with a smile.
“What an entrance.” He said.
“I know right? You should have seen the look on your face.” She replied.
“I don’t care about whatever you are here for. Just stay away from my grandkids.”
“Or what?” She asked and pulled away from him as the song ended. She got off the dance floor and she saw Kender and Kendra walking towards her.
They were about to get to her when Axel suddenly showed up in front of them.
“We are leaving.” He said and they frowned at him.
“Why?”
“Because I said so. Let’s go.” He replied sternly.
Nadia just watched, she didn’t do anything.
“Ugh, you are so annoying.” Kender scoffed and walked towards the exit. Nadia chuckled.
“Daddy, is everything okay?” Kendra asked with a worried expression and Axel nodded.
“Yes, baby. Everything is fine, we just have to leave.” He replied and she nodded before walking out.
Axel sighed and turned to see Nadia staring, she smirked at him before walking away.

Days after the ball, a lot of things changed. Axel kept feeling so worried, he stopped his kids from going to school or going out of the house.
The kids were confused, they had no idea why everyone was acting weird. They asked multiple questions but got no response. Axel was scared, a lot would be coming and he was sure.
Lily looked so different and it terrified him, the only thing he could do at the moment was protect his kids.
“I still don’t get why we are suddenly living like a prisoner.” Kender scoffed, snapping Axel out of his thoughts as they had dinner.
“Kender.” Kendra called sternly and he rolled his eyes.
“What? Someone has to say it. Everybody has been acting weird since the night of the ball.” He said and Axel sighed. He ran his hands through his hair without giving his son a response.
“Stop it, Kender. You can see Dad looks worried.”
“Then he should tell us what is going on. We deserve to know.” Kender said and Axel looked up at him.
He sighed and ran his hands through his hair again.
“Of course. Nothing.” Kender replied with a frown and got up. He walked away from the dining room and Kendra sighed.
She got off her seat and sat next to Axel, she held his hand and creased it.
“It’s okay Daddy. Everything will be fine.” Kendra muttered and he smiled at her.

Axel’s phone suddenly rang and he slowly opened his eyes, he picked up his phone next to him and stared at the time. It was past midnight and it was Max calling.
Axel sighed and picked up the call then placed the phone on his ear.
“It is in the middle of the fucking… ”
“Our warehouses are on fire.” Max cut him off raising his voice and Axel sat up immediately.
“What?”
“Everything is on fire man. Including the main one, I got a call from our men, everything just exploded.” Max said as Axel stood up and rushed into the closet.
“Where are you?”
“I am three minutes away from your house.” Max replied and Axel ended the call.
He hurriedly got dressed and rushed out of his room, he froze when he saw Kendra in the hallway. She just walked out of her room and looked so sleepy.
“Daddy, where are you going?” She rubbed her eyes and Axel exhaled heavily. He tried his best not to lose it.
“I have to go, sweetie. You can sleep in my room if you want, I will be back soon.” He rushed his words and walked down the stairs without waiting for her response.
He rushed out of the house and saw Max’s car, he hurriedly got in and Max drove out of the mansion.
In minutes, they arrived at their main warehouse and saw it burning. They rushed out of the car and met a few of their men in front of it, watching it burn.
“How the hell did this happen?” Axel yelled at them and they all bowed in fear.
“We have no idea, sir. It just exploded while we were working, some of us didn’t even make it out.” one of them explained and Axel held his hair.
He was going crazy. He had a lot of warehouses and they were all burning. That was a huge loss. Half of his wealth is gone.
“Who the fuck did this?” Axel muttered and Max turned to him.
“Is it El Diablo? But why would he do this?” Max asked.
Axel stared at the burning building with a thousand thoughts running through his head. Who the hell did this?

Nadia leaned on her car in the middle of a street, she waited patiently for her men to show up.
She sighed as she puffed out smoke from her mouth, she was exhausted and needed to rest.
She stared at her feet and then looked up to see cars coming towards her. It was her men.
They pulled over as they got to her, they walked out of the car and bowed to her.
“If it isn’t a success then I don’t want to hear it.” She said,
“It’s a success ma’am. We got everything.”
“All of it?” She asked.
“Yes, ma’am. We blew up all his warehouses.” He replied and she nodded.
“What’s next ma’am?”
“Don’t worry about that. I would deal with the rest myself.” She replied and put out the lights of her cigarette by stepping on it.
She got into her car and ignited it. She drove into the streets and exhaled heavily as she recalled her life years ago…
