Lily had a smile on her face as Gavin drove, she was so excited. She couldn’t wait to see what Gavin had in store for her.
He took a turn leading to the airport and Lily furrowed her brows before turning to him.
“Why are we going to the airport?” She asked and he glanced at her with a smile but he didn’t respond. Lily chuckled and shook her head.
After a few minutes, they arrived at the airport but Gavin drove to a private parking lot.
Lily recalled something but she shrugged it off immediately, she didn’t want to think about it. Seeing the place brought up memories.
“We are here.” Gavin said as he pulled over, they both walked out of the car and he held her hand.
Some men dressed in suits walked to them and bowed.
“Mr. Gavin.” The men called and bowed. Lily was a little confused, Gavin never had guards around.
“Is it ready?” Gavin asked and they responded.
“Please come with us.” One of the men said and walked ahead of them.
“What is going on?” Lily asked as Gavin pulled her gently.
“Well, part of the things we are doing today is checking out Florida. You have never actually seen the city since you have been here, you are always indoors so today, we will be exploring.” He said and Lily smiled happily.
They got to the hangar and there was a helicopter there. A private one.
“Gavin isn’t this too… ”
“It’s mine, Lily.” He cut her off and she stared at him surprised. She knew Gavin was rich but she had no idea he was so rich.
“Wow.” She gasped and he chuckled.
“Come on.” He muttered and pulled her.
In minutes, they were settled in. Two of his men got in with him. After a few minutes, they were in the air.
“Wow.” Lily gasped seeing how beautiful the view looked. Gavin stared at her and felt so happy seeing her smile.
“Actually, I lied.” He suddenly said and Lily turned to him confused.
“Huh?”
“We are not just going on a tour.”
“So where are we going?” She asked.
“You’ll see.” He replied with a smile and she giggled again.
After some minutes, they were a little bit out of Florida. Ahead of them was like an island and Lily chuckled.
“That’s where we are going?” She asked and Gavin nodded.
“I own that too.” He replied and Lily giggled.
She never knew he was so rich.
The helicopter landed on the island and they all walked out.
“We will be spending the day here.” He said. Lily looked around and smiled, there was a house there too.
“What about the kids… ”
“Oh, Lily please.” Gavin cut her off and wrapped his arms around her waist.
“Can you stop worrying for once and let us have fun? They are safe, I promise.” He assured her.
“Okay, let’s have fun.” She replied and he lifted her and then spun her around. Lily laughed happily as he did.

The day went like a flash and it was almost dusk so they headed back. Lily had the best time with Gavin, he made sure she was comfortable and happy.
She loved the Island so much and he promised her they would be back. He assured her he would bring her anytime she wanted.
They arrived at the airport and they both walked out of the helicopter, Lily was a little exhausted.
Gavin held her hand and they headed towards his car with his men.
They were about to get to the car when Lily paused and hugged Gavin tightly with tears in her eyes.
Axel and Max walked out of his private jet together, they had a long flight. They both headed towards their car waiting for them with some men with them.
Max looked around and he saw some other men escorting some people but he couldn’t see them. Curiously, he kept staring. He couldn’t look away.
He suddenly paused when he saw a familiar person and Axel turned to him.
“Dude, dude, dude.” He called repeatedly and poked Axel repeatedly too.
“What? What? Stop poking me.” Axel replied and took his finger off him.
“Dude, that’s Lily. That is Lily.” Max said and Axel furrowed his brows.
“Wh… what?” He stuttered and turned. His eyes widened as he saw her hugging a man tightly.
“It’s Lily.” He said.
Without thinking twice, Axel ran towards them.
He was about to get to them but Lily pulled away from Gavin and they got into the car.
“No, no, no.” Axel said as the car moved.
He rushed back to Max and Max wondered what he was about to do.
“What… ”
“We are following them.” He cut him off and rushed towards their car waiting.
“Oh God, this won’t end well.” Max groaned.
Gavin and Lily kept talking about the kids as they headed home, Lily missed them and couldn’t wait to see them.
Although she couldn’t deny the fact that she was comfortable being away from them for a while, she felt a little okay. Not that she doesn’t love her kids or love being around them, she just enjoyed her time alone with Gavin so much.
They arrived at Gavin’s mansion and they both got out of the car, the men who escorted them home also left.
Gavin isn’t a fan of having guards around or maids, he does things himself and Lily loves that about him.
They both walked into the house holding hands and they paused when they saw Gavin’s personal assistant asleep on the couch. Kender was on her, playing with her face while Kendra was crawling and giggling around the house.
“I don’t blame her.” Gavin said and Lily chuckled. Kendra crawled to Lily and she carried her with a smile.
“Hey, baby.” Lily called happily and kissed her cheeks. Gavin walked to the couch and carried Kender off his assistant. Kender giggled as Gavin carried him.
“Wake up Elizabeth.” Gavin said and tapped her. She opened her eyes and sat up immediately.
“Sir, you are back.” She said and stood up.
“Yeah.”
“I am so sorry I fell asleep. I was watching them and… ”
“It’s fine. Thank you, Elizabeth.” Lily cut her off and she bowed with a smile.
She said her goodbyes to them before she left the house.
“You guys stressed her out a lot, didn’t you?” Gavin asked Kender and he clapped his hands happily which made Lily laugh.
Lily was about to say something when they heard the doorbell ring.
“Did Elizabeth forget something?” Gavin asked as he walked to the door. He opened it and was surprised to see two men. One of them looked familiar but he couldn’t recall where he had seen him.
“Who are you? Are you at the wrong address?” Gavin asked and the men stared at Kender before looking at him.
Axel was about to talk but Max stopped him.
“Let me speak before you ruin things.” Max said and he rolled his eyes at him.
“Hi.” Max said and Gavin nodded.
“Gavin, who is… ” Lily trailed off as she showed up at the door and saw them.
“Hi, Lily.”
