They all walked out of the house and headed towards the cars ready for them. As Nora was about to go into the car with Lily, Axel walked to them and pulled Lily from her.
“You can ride with Max in the other car. I and Lily will go in this one.” Axel said and pulled Lily away from her before she could give a response.
Axel opened the car door for Lily and she got in and he also did.
The chauffeur ignited the car and drove out of the mansion.
Lily played with her fingers and glanced at Axel frequently as his eyes were fixed on his phone, since he wasn’t saying a word to her, Lily felt like he was mad at her.
She knew the reason, her suggesting Nora and Max to come with them was out of the blue.
“What are you doing?” She asked. She was trying her best to bring up a conversation to get his response.
“Getting a room for Max and Nora.” He replied without looking at her.
“Oh.” Lily muttered and stared down at her fingers. Her phone beeped and she stared at it.
Axel also turned to her and stared at her.
It was a text from Nora asking if Axel was mad at her. Lily decided to ask Axel.
She looked at him and realized he was staring at her.
“Are you mad at me?” She asked.
“What do you think?” He asked back.
“I think you are mad at me.” She muttered.
“I am not. I am just wondering how easy you are to be tricked.” He said and she frowned a little.
“Tricked?”
“Yes, Lily. You can be easily tricked and Nora took advantage of that.”
“No, she did not and I cannot be easily tricked.” Lily replied sternly.
“Oh, really?”
“Yes.” She said and folded her arms, she turned away from him and Axel shook his head at her childish behaviour.
“Are you mad right now?” He asked and she nodded in response without looking at him, Axel chuckled and pulled her to himself.
Still, her arms were folded and she didn’t turn to him.
“Lilyana.” He called softly and Lily smiled immediately and turned to him.
“I am not mad anymore.” She giggled and Axel shook his head. He has a child as a wife.
They arrived at the airport after a while, Lily and Axel got to the airport earlier than Max and Nora. They had to stop for a few minutes to get Max’s things.
When they all arrived, they all walked into the plane together. They got in and as Lily was about to sit next to Axel, Nora hurriedly pulled her and walked away from Axel.
Max laughed and Axel glared at him.
“What? You are stuck with me.” Max said and took a seat next to him. Axel stared at Nora and Lily who were seated a seat from them.
“Is Axel mad at you?” Nora asked Lily and she shook her head in response.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. He is not mad.” She replied with a smile.
“Great. I have got a list of things we will do together when we get there.” Nora said and brought out a list, Lily chuckled due to how long the list was.
“Do you know the best part about this vacation?” Nora asked Lily and she shook her head in response.
“No, what is the best part?”
“We don’t get to spend a penny.” She replied and Lily chuckled.
An hour passed and they were still on the plane, Lily had already fallen asleep, and Nora was going through her phone. Max was watching a movie while Axel’s eyes were fixed on where Lily and Nora were.
He couldn’t resist the urge anymore, he badly wanted to sit next to his wife.
He stood up and walked to them, he got to their seat and saw Lily was asleep already, he worried she wasn’t comfortable in her position.
“What are you doing here?” Nora asked.
“Go take my seat.” He ordered.
“No, I want to sit with Lily.” She replied and rolled her eyes.
“Go take my seat.” He ordered again but this time, with a stern look.
Nora rolled her eyes again and scoffed, she stood up and walked past him. She got to his seat and sat next to Max.
“Hey.” Max called with a smile and she smiled back at him.
Axel sat in Nora’s seat and stared at his wife dearly.
He slowly put his arm under her neck and let her lean on him. She let out a moan in her sleep and Axel stroked her hair with his free hand.
He made sure she was comfortable and still sleeping. He wasn’t ready to disturb her nap.
He continued staring at her as she slept peacefully.
Max stared at Axel and smirked.
“He is getting obsessed.” He said as he still watched him. Nora looked up at Max then looked at Lily and Axel.
“Yes, they look good together.” Nora replied and Max nodded.
“Yeah. While he was here, he kept staring. He couldn’t take his eyes off her.”
“Do you think he loves her?” Nora asked and Max shrugged.
“Maybe, I am not sure but one thing I am sure of is that he would do anything for Lily. Anything at all.” Max replied.
“Do you have any idea how they met?” Nora asked and Max looked at her before shrugging his shoulders.
Nora rolled her eyes at him.
“I know that’s a lie but I will drop it. I will just ask Lily. She will tell me.” Nora said proudly and paid attention to her phone again.
Another hour passed and they finally arrived in Atlanta, it was midnight already. Max and Nora walked out of the plane leaving Axel and Lily behind.
Axel placed his hand on Lily’s cheek and creased it.
“Lily.” He called softly but she didn’t wake up.
“Lily.” He called again and she slowly opened her eyes.
“Hmm.” She moaned in response.
“We are here.” He said and she raised her head and sat up.
She still felt sleepy and Axel noticed it, he stood up and pulled her up gently.
He held her hand and walked out of the plane carefully with her. They got out of the plane and the wind welcomed Lily which made her open her eyes fully.
She stared around and took in a deep breath.
She wondered how Atlanta would be for them during their stay.
