They all walked towards the cars waiting for them while the guards dragged their bags behind them.
As they got closer, Lily had different thoughts going on in her head, not negative thoughts though.
She wondered how Axel was able to arrange everything so fast, it took him just hours to get all these done.
She knew Axel was rich, she knew she was married to a billionaire but at the same time, she felt it was just too much.
They got to the cars and Axel and Lily got into one. Max and Nora got into another one, while the guards got into the last one.
The chauffeurs ignited the cars and they drove.
Lily stared out the window and enjoyed the view, the city was beautiful at night. She was amazed by everything they came across that she hadn’t seen before, Lily hadn’t seen a lot of things before.
Axel found her interesting to watch and he decided to stare, he couldn’t get tired anyway, he never could. Lily is different, different from every other person he has come across. Her innocence amazes him every time, her way of doing things too included.
He watched as she gasped a little when she saw different buildings, Axel found them all as normal things but they amazed his wife so much.
At first, he thought it was a conning act of commoners, he thought every commoner was like Lily but then, he has people working for him that are commoners, and no one has ever acted like Lily.
He heard her giggle as a car sped by them, he looked through the rear mirror and saw what type of car it was.
“Axel.” He heard her call and he looked at her, she moved closer to him with a wide smile on her face. Anyone who saw the expression on her face wouldn’t believe she just woke up from a nap and was acting sluggish a few minutes back.
“Yes?” Axel replied as he got close to him, she locked her arms with his and stared at him closely.
“That car is so beautiful.” She said with a smile.
“You mean the one that sped past us?” Axel asked and she nodded.
“Yes. It’s pretty. But it’s white, I think it would look more beautiful in black.”
“So you like that car?” He asked.
“Yes, I do. It is funny and surprising because that is the first car I would ever like.” She said and Axel decided to trouble her mind a little.
“Really? So you never liked any of my cars?” He asked and her lips parted slightly as she thought of what to say. She wasn’t expecting Axel’s question.
“Wh… what? I… I didn’t say that.”
“That isn’t the answer to my question.” Axel replied. He could tell she was already bothered and confused judging from her facial expressions.
“I like all your cars. I don’t hate them.” She said and Axel smirked, he ruffled her hair and she giggled.
“I know.” He replied and she sighed in relief.
“What are your plans for us here?” Lily asked him as she used her free head to straighten her hair.
“I haven’t thought about it yet but we have enough time to think of what to do.” Axel responded and Lily smiled. Axel knew she was about to say something exciting, he knew Lily so well already.
“Oh, Nora and I have a list of… ” She trailed off as she realized she wasn’t supposed to be telling him.
“What?” Axel asked and she shook her head like a child.
“What list do you and Nora have?” He asked and she shook her head again.
“I am not supposed to tell you, it’s a secret.” She said and Axel chuckled. He decided to drop the question before he got her bothered again.
Sooner or later, he was going to know. Lily is the last person to keep a secret with. He was very sure the reason why everyone didn’t know about their contracted marriage yet was because of how they met.
Through a one night stand, she is probably embarrassed about it.
He could still remember that night so well, she was so scared and trembled at his touch.
He could still recall the way she cried while he had sex with her, he could recall when she passed out and he had to stop. He couldn’t keep having sex with an unconscious person.
He hurt her that night, he knew he did. He was her first, he was so sure he was her first in everything. His little pretty Lilyana.
“Axel.” She called and shook his arm which made him snap out of his thought.
“Hmm?” Axel responded.
“Did you know that Nora travelled out of New York weeks ago?” Lily asked.
“Really? No.”
“Well, she did. She went to Las Vegas just to have fun. She said Las Vegas is the party house of America. She also said it is a nice place to visit, is that true?” She asked curiously and Axel nodded.
“Yes, it is.”
“Have you been to Las Vegas before?” She asked further.
“Yes. I spent a few years there when I was a teenager.” He replied and she bit her lip.
“Can I go to Las Vegas with Nora?”
“No.” Axel replied and she frowned, after a few seconds, she let out a sigh. She was just going to let it go like that, she didn’t argue with him.
He was expecting that. Lily would do anything she was asked to do.
“Can I… ” Lily was cut short and Axel held her face with his free hand and brushed his lips against hers, a gentle whisper of a kiss that sent shivers down her spine.
He pulled away a little and stared at her face, her eyes were closed. She slowly opened them and held his gaze. They both looked into each other’s eyes like they were searching for something.
After a few seconds of silence, their lips met again but this time in a sweet sensual dance, a kiss that spoke volumes of their passion.
