She Heard Us

POV: Victoria
“Keep this up, my daughters, and maybe, just maybe, you might walk out of here alive in a couple of years,” she told us excitedly, as if living in this place for the next few years is normal.
“I was hoping to bring in two more daughters to be my daughters. How would you love to have more sisters?” She asked in that same excitement as she strolled out of the room. I did not say a word or even attempt to turn my neck until I heard the lock of the door clinking twice to indicate that the door had been locked from the other side.
“Are you insane, do you want to die so soon?!” I asked Claire in anger, trying so hard to stop myself from yelling at her.
“How are you turning your neck and pretending to be stiff at the same time?” she asked in surprise as I turned to face her.
“I don’t know if they got my dosage wrong, but I could feel my toes and fingers from the moment we were thrown into the car. I focus deeply on the part of my body I want to move and it happens, albeit slowly.
You can try it too if you really want to leave here alive. I guess it’s my desire to leave this hellhole that’s making me push my body to recover quickly. But you haven’t tried it because you don’t seem to care about your life anymore, you are not even trying to pretend or hide your anger like we agreed to. How do you even intend to leave this place alive when you keep infuriating her every damn minute!” I yelled at her, trying to remind her that we have to try to pretend and play along with Eloise if we ever want to leave here alive.
“You think she bought all those lies that you told her?” she scoffed.
“I don’t care if she bought it or not, as long as it stalls her until we get help!” I scolded her again, trying so hard to keep my voice down because she was infuriating me as we spoke.
“If I were you, I would make up my mind to die the moment the new babies get here. Eloise is going to kill us after she replaces us. You didn’t actually think that she would let us leave, did you?” she asked me, laughing at me as if I was stupid.
“The only reason we are alive is because she is going to be bored and lonely without us. You can see her treating us like babies, don’t you?
It’s as if she never wanted us to grow up. And now that we no longer consider her a good mother, she thinks we are bad eggs, and she would not hesitate to get rid of us before we can correct her two new daughters that won’t give her any issues in the future.” She told me firmly.
“Oh no!
Do you think she would get rid of their parents too, do you think she would be nice to them like she was to us?” she asks me, her voice breaking at the end. I thought about it and it occurred to me that if my mom doesn’t get the sentence she deserves, she may likely end up getting more babies like she plans to.
And as it stands now, with the way we just treated her after many years of calling her mom and loving her, I don’t think she would treat any child the way that she treated us. Any child that falls into her hands this time will suffer for all our mistakes. I can never let her get away with that, no child deserves to suffer in the hands of this crazy woman. I must do everything I can to stop her.
“Just play along and don’t let her get in your head. Help will come soon, I know it. Raphael will come for me, and my brother will help him find us, too.” I told her calmly.
“Be strong for me, Clair; I need you. I cannot live without my sister, you are the only friend I have.” I told her, my eyes tearing up. I hadn’t finished saying that when the door pushed open, and Eloise stood by the open door smirking at us evilly.
“I knew you were faking it, you idiot. You thought I left you alone, didn’t you?” she smirked, looking fixedly at me.
“They aren’t coming to save you, sweetheart. And if they dare try to save you, I will have them killed and buried on this island and nobody would dare to question me. I have enough guards in this house to go to war with a state and come back victorious. Anyone who dares me will not make it back home alive. That is a promise.” She lets out excitedly, her face looking so evil.
“You can move your hands and legs for all I care. But trust me, there are motion sensors in this house and I have a few boobytraps scattered around the house. It would be so much fun to watch you get blown into pieces when you try to escape. You deserve a horrible death for all the pain you caused me.
Don’t worry your pretty head, Victoria. I won’t increase your dosage anytime soon. You won’t get far anyways, you won’t even make it to the exit before you for.” She told me excitedly. I knew she hated me for destroying her perfect family, but I didn’t know she hated me to the point of wishing me such a horrible death.
She sat by my side, playing with my hair and looking into my eyes. I shivered in fear because I had no idea what was going on in her mind. What if she kills me right here and now? What if I never get to meet my family? What if I never get to experience true love with Raphael?
My heart kept beating faster and I prayed in my heart that she should not hurt me or my sister. She frowned deeply for some minutes, and then she smiled brightly at me as if she never heard anything I said while she was away.
“It’s time for your bath, sweetheart. Get her ready for her bath!” she instructed her assistant, Allen. I didn’t even know that he was standing there until she instructed him to get me ready for my bath. She loves asking her guards to help her change our outfits and bathe us.
There is this one guy named Sly who enjoys these moments because he loves touching us inappropriately. Allen lets him have his fun with us because he is also doing the same thing with us a f he loves watching as they humiliate us and treat us like whores.
“Did your mom ever tell you about me, do you know that we are going to be married very soon?” Allen asked me as he grabbed my boobs and brought his mouth to my nipples, sucking hard. I felt disgusted but I couldn’t move more parts of my body so I don’t expose myself.
I know she said she doesn’t care if I run away, but that’s just her anger talking. If Mom finds out that I can move some more parts of my body, she will have me drugged again, and this time, it will be worse than the first time.
“I’m never letting you go, I would rather die than let them take you away from me.” She always tells us, whispering it to herself and us. The fact that she is still pretending to care after eavesdropping on our conversation and hearing us say horrible things about her is enough reason for us to be smart and act fast before she slits our throats in our sleep.
