Book:Married To The Ceo I Hate Published:2025-2-8

Tristan
“Lily,” I looked at her in shock. She had a suitcase with her, and she smiled at me while flipping her blonde hair
“What are you doing here?” My face had turned into a glare already.
How dare she show herself to me, how dare she knock on my door, and come to my house smiling like something we were buddies or friends?
“Who is she?” I turned around to find Isabella standing beside me, while she asked about Lily.
“You don’t recognize her?” I asked her.
“No, but she feels,” I sighed already aware of what she was going to say.
“Familiar,” I completed the sentence to her. She didn’t recognize me, I didn’t feel familiar to her either. My friends barely recognized me, but they felt familiar to her. The same thing goes for my family too. It was as if her mind was playing tricks with me, and each time I thought I was one step closer, or taking a step forward, I somehow found myself back to a hundred steps backward.
“I’m his wife, “Lily responded before I could speak.
“What?” Isabella looked at me confused.
“Are you crazy?” I looked at Lily in anger.
“You’re his wife?” She pointed at me, staring at Lily with a shocked and confused expression.
“She’s not my wife,” I immediately said, I didn’t want Isabella drawing up ideas or theories in her head.
“But I am,” Lily smiled.
“Get off my front porch Lily,” I yelled at her, but instead she giggled.
“Why are you chasing me, Tristan? It’s not like I’m lying, she kidnapped me to get married to you,” Lily said, her eyes watered but I wasn’t buying it.
“I kidnapped you,” Isabella touched her chest, looking at Lily as she tried to grasp what she just said.
“I kidnapped you,” She whispered and closed her eyes, exhaling.
“You didn’t tell her?” Isabella eurs moved in my direction. She looked at me, staring at me like she wanted an explanation.
“Do not believe whatever she says?” I said and called on the security to take her away.
“Don’t you want to know why you did it? Don’t you want to hear the truth, Isabella?” She yelled as the boys dragged her and her suitcase away.
“Do not listen to her Isabella, everything she says is a lie,” I retorted at her.
“Hear me out,” Lily yelled at the top of her voice.
“Let’s go muffin,” I said trying to hold her hands, but she yanked It away from me.
“Stop,” She said and immediately they stopped dragging her, and just held her.
“What are you doing muffin?” I asked her scared. I hoped she wasn’t going to listen to Lily, cause all she’s going to do is poison her mind.
“I said I hate that name,” She glared at me, furiously and I couldn’t utter a word.
“Let her go,” She instructed, and the security men looked at me confused, but I tilted my head at them and they did as she instructed.
“Thank you,” Lily eyed them, and walked toward our direction, rubbing her wrist like she was in any pain.
“Tell me everything,” Isabella said.
“What? You can’t be serious,” I looked at Isabella, my heart was troubled. Lily was only going to make things worse.
“Or do you want to tell me?” Isabella folded her hands, and asked me, leaving me utterly speechless. I couldn’t speak, I didn’t know what time to say or how to put everything in words that would make her see that we were cool and not in that hate relationship.
“I,” I opened my mouth to speak but the words didn’t come out.
“I thought so too,” She turned to Lily with a smile.
“I want to hear everything,” she said to Lily Allen.
“Firstly, can I come in?” Lily stared at me with a smirk on her face.
“Of course, come in,” She said, and opened the door wider, and Lily walked in with her suitcase, smiling like she had won a trophy.
“Thank you, even though it seems like someone doesn’t want me here,” She said referring to myself, but I didn’t glance at her. My gaze was on Isabella, as I was worried about her.
“Speak freely,” Isabella gestured her to the living room and we all got seated.
“Can I get a glass of water?” Lily said as if trying to taunt me.
“Of course,” Isabella said and called out Rose.
“You better speak,” I glared at her before the glass of water arrived, but Isabella was glaring at me.
“Thank you,” She said and had a sip slowly, while Isabella looked at her with so much curiosity.
“Now speak,” I said and glared at her.
“Why did I kidnap you?” Her voice was low when she asked Lily.
“To get married to Tristan,” Lily responded sharply.
“What? That doesn’t make sense, why would I do that to marry him?” Isabella’s gaze moved from mime to Lily.
“Well you came into my dressing room, and took me away stripping me of my wedding dress, and when I asked you why, you said you hated him, that you were going to make him pay, make his life miserable by marrying him,” She lied, not completely but she did.
“You had people beat me up, tie me, and take me away, I cried and begged you to forgive me, that he was the love of my life, I gave myself up to surrender for his sins, but you looked so me with hatred that you can’t let him be happy after the bad things he did to you,” She cried out, game tears I could detect, but it wasn’t the same for Isabella because she seemed to be buying her whole drama.
“I did that,” Isabella asked, as I watched her pinched her skin, trying to hurt herself.
“That’s not true,” I said and walked to where she was sitting, but she moved away from me.
“Now why would I lie?” Lily said and smiled at me, one that Isabella didn’t see.
“Don’t believe her,” I said calmly to Isabella, she was silent as if in deep thought and I was worried about the thought that ran through her mind at that moment.
“This doesn’t make sense, but why would I marry someone who I hated already?” She looked at Lily, and I was glad that she was being reasonable.
“Beats me too,” Lily said.
“It didn’t make any sense to me until I heard about your situation,” Ste added immediately.
“What are you talking about?” Isabella looked at her.
“I heard you couldn’t recognize him, you remembered everyone else or felt like they were familiar, but you didn’t remember anything about him, neither did he seem familiar to you,” Lily said, and God I really wished I could punch her mouth, but I couldn’t.
“I think your mind and body are trying to protect you from him, I don’t know what you did, but I think you are trying to tell yourself to stay away from him,” She added.
“You’ve got time to be fucking kidding me. Lily you had better shut up, or I’ll kill you right here and make it look like you murdered yourself,” I told her with every seriousness, and immediately I saw Isabella flinched.
“You have to believe me, when I managed to escape I only thought of one thing, and that was asking that you forgive him and let us be together, please Isabella,” She was down on her knees, weeping in front of Isabella, she held her legs crying profusely while Isabella stares at her confused.
“I’m sorry, I can’t do this,” Isabella muttered and ran up the stairs.
“Isabella, please. Forgive him,” Lily kept up with the act, yelling at the top of her voice.
“Enough with the act, Lily,” I said and she slowly stood on her feet giggling.
“Was it good? I think I did great,” she smiled at me.
“Oh God, I’m going to kill you I swear,” My hands folded in a fist, but instead she walked towards me.
“After Isabella leaves you, or before she does,” She clicked her tongue at me and moved her head sideways pleased with my frustration.
“You won’t get away with this, I promise you,” I pointed my finger at her.
“We would see about that love,” She said and grabbed my fingers, putting them in her mouth, as she suck on them.
“You’re crazy,” I yanked my fingers away from her mouth, but she laughed instead.
“Maybe,” She said still laughing, while I looked at her with a mix of disgust and shock.
“Isabella,” I called out walking away as I climbed the stairs.
“Muffin,” I called out again…
