Isabella
It was the weekend already, and I was pretty damn excited to have my friends over. It’s been a while since I hosted literally anyone, and this time I was pretty excited. I had made sure the backyard was organized for us, the pool was cleaned already and there was dessert, food, and wine all set for us. I had run it by Tristan, about them coming over, he didn’t have any problems with it, but he seemed not to believe that I truly had friends.
“You sure they are your friends,” he had said to me, that night as we were having dinner.
“Are you being for real?” I glared at him, but it seemed he was having more fun getting on my nerves.
“You look so cute whenever you’re mad,” He responded instead.
“I’m not mad,” I glared even more.
“That’s it, you look cute,” He said instead and smiled.
“Tristan,” I hit the table lightly.
“Fine, of course, they can come over,” He said while I smiled.
“You look so excited to have your friends rather than spending the day with me,” He stated behind me, and hugged me from behind, resting his jaw on my shoulders.
“That’s not true,” I turned around immediately, and he pulled me by the waist and kissed me.
“Hmm, you don’t get tired do you,” I caught my breath and said to him, while he chuckled.
“Of kissing you?”
“Of course not, your lips taste amazing,” He gave me a quick kiss and pulled away, while I slapped his chest in shock.
“There are people here,” I said referring to the maids who were organizing for me.
“Yeah, but you’re blushing. Meaning you enjoyed it,” He smirked and I rolled my eyes at him.
“Just leave now,” I said in a whisper, but he only kept staring at me.
“You know I can’t do that, I want to be around you and snuggle you at all times,” He said with a smile, while I glared immediately.
“Tristan,” I half yelled but he was laughing, before pulling away.
“Fine, I’ll back off a bit, but I’ll be back,” He kissed my cheeks and left while I smiled at him.
It was noon already and Amelia had texted that they were on their way. I quickly went to the room to dress up. I walked into my closet and picked out a flare long knit maxi dress. I had it in white and beige color but later picked the beige color. I put on black slippers, grabbed my phone, organized my hair, and went right back to the living room when I heard the doorbell ring.
“They are here,” I squealed and rushed to the door and opened it up to welcome them.
“You guys are here,” I smiled, and they walked inside pulling me in a right hug.
“Here,” I handed over the flip-flops to them as they took off their shoes. I had specially bought them because they were coming over.
“Girl your house is huge,” Ava said and stared around while I smiled and directed them to the living room.
“Thank you for this,” I took the flowers and handed them over to Rose who greeted the guest and left with the bouquet.
“Do you guys need anything?” I joined them, while I stared at them nervously.
“Nah, we are good,” Amelia said.
“But your home is so beautiful,” she added.
“Thank you. It’s Tristan’s home,” I smiled.
“And you’re his wife, so?” Ava gave me a look, which made me smile.
“Alright girls, I have organized a little sip and paints for us outside, let’s go?” I said excitedly and their eyes gleamed in joy.
“Okay, love it,” Ava sounded happy.
“And when do we get to see your hot husband,” Amelia added as we walked to the backyard making me chuckle.
“I’m sure he would be down soon,” I told her, as we made our way to the backyard.
We were having the best of time in the backyard. The girls were relaxed, and we chatted while painting and having wine. Which was completely wholesome and amazing too.
“Omg,” Ava had whispered, while Amelia and I turned to look at the direction she was staring at. And there he was, looking so good, as he made his way to me.
“Hey,” His hands on my shoulder, while he bent to place a kiss on my face.
“Hi, ladies,” he waved at them with a smile on his face and I was grateful to him. Ava on the other hand was completely star struck.
“It’s nice to finally meet you,” Amelia said to him, smiling.
“You must be Amelia,” he pointed not sure.
“Oh. He knows my name,” She looked at me with wide eyes impressed while I rolled my eyes at her.
“And she’s Ava,” He smiled at her.
“What the fuck? He’s hot,” Ava had whispered to me, her mouth moved so that I could make out what her words were.
“It’s nice to meet you, ladies,” He gave me a light squeeze on my shoulder, while I lifted my head to stare at him.
“Likewise. We have heard only wonderful things about you,” Ava said and Amelia tried to hold her laugh.
“I hope you guys are having an amazing time,” He asked.
“We are, thanks for having us,” Amelia responded.
“I’m glad to hear that,” He smiled and turned around to leave.
“Make sure to treat Isabella nicely, or we are going to destroy that good-looking face of yours,” Ava said, I didn’t know where that came from but she said it.
“Ava?” I gasped…
“What? Someone needed to say it,” She shrugged, while I sighed.
“It’s alright. I’ll treat her right, I promise you,” He smiled and bent below to whisper to me.
“You guys can have fun, and treat your friends too,” He handed over his card to me, before kissing me on my lips and leaving us.
“Hmmm, what was that?” Amelia nudged me, while I just blushed.
“You actually fuck that man, “Ava said and I almost spilled paint on my dress.
“Jesus Ava, maybe keep your thoughts to yourself,” Amelia scolded her immediately.
“What? I’m sure you thought of it too, but I’m the only one saying it out loud,” Ava didn’t seem to mind, while I just fanned myself with my hands, even though the place was chill.
“God. Forgive her Isabella, she’s gone crazy,” Amelia said to me, and eyed Ava.
“Yeah, whatever? So what was the whispering about with him,” She looked so curious, and I couldn’t help but laugh at Ava’s behavior. She was the youngest in our group and Amelia was the eldest…
“You have no idea what boundaries mean, do you?” Amelia turned to her.
“What? Isabel isn’t complaining,” she defended.
“It’s okay. Tristan asked me to treat you guys,” I said.
“What do you mean?” Amelia was confused.
“We are going shopping girls, and with this,” I brought out the card he gave to me, while Ava shrieked.
“No way! No fuc*ing way,” Ava gasped.
“Are you being for real?” Amelia covered her mouth in shock.
“I’m being serious,” I nodded my head, laughing at the faces they made.
“Why the heck are we still here? Let’s go, ladies, we’ve got money to spend,” Ava added and immediately we all stood up to go shopping.

The house was now empty, at least that was what it felt to Tristan as the ladies left, and the chatter and small noises they made that kept the place vibrant had disappeared.
He sat down in the living room, entertaining himself with a movie and a glass of wine when the doorbell rang.
“Are they back so quickly?” He thought confused, as he stood up to open the door.
He pulled the door open and behold his friends were there, with a bottle of champagne, standing at the door.
“Dylan?” He called out shock, staring at each of them confusedly.
“What are you guys doing here?” He looked surprised.
“Are you going to stand there and interrogate us, or let us in,” Jared asked him.
“Oh sorry, come in guys,” He said and they all walked in while he followed behind them still confused.
“Are you watching a movie?” They already made themselves comfortable in his living room. Jared sat close to Jake while Dylan took a whole sofa for himself.
“What’s going on? Why are you guys here?” He asked them, but they barely paid attention to him.
“Where’s Isabel?” Dylan asked
“What’s that smell?” Jake was headed to the kitchen.
“Whoa, guys come here,” He yelled, and instantly Tristan groaned and followed them to the kitchen. Those were the snacks and food Isabel had organized for her friends.
“This is a lot of food, did you know we were coming?” Dylan looked pleased.
“Don’t you dare touch anything?” He yelled at them, and Jake lifted his hands.
“Those are for Isabella and her friends,” He stated.
“Friends? Like girls?” Dylan asked, his eyes gleaming, and Tristan almost had a headache from his words.
“Leave my kitchen now?” He widened his eyes and yelled stopping Dylan from having the pastry he held.
“Fine, don’t be aggressive,” Dylan said and Jake and Jared laughed at the sad expression he made.
“Now why are you all in my house?” Tristan asked as they sat in the living room.
“Just checking in, with hopes of meeting Isabel,” Jared said truthfully, while Tristan smiled.
“And let me guess it was Dylan’s idea,” Tristan added.
“What? No,” Dylan refused immediately.
“I told you he would know,” Jake laughed.
“Of course, Dylan would be the only insane one to show up at your house without texting,” Tristan said and everyone burst into laughter.
“That’s not true,” Dylan laughed too.
The boys played video games, then chatted until it was evening time and the girls arrived.
“Tristan,” Isabel called out, while Rose carried her shopping bags into her room.
“The girls are leaving,” she walked with the girls to the living room, they had dropped their items in the boot. They got to the living room and were shocked to see the boys very keen on the screen as they played video games.
“Isabel,” Tristan dropped the pad and rushed to engulf her in a hug.
“Had fun?” He asked her sweetly.
“I did. I thought you would be missing me, but apparently, you’re having a blast too,” She smiled at him.
“What! With this guy no way. I missed you,” He said and kissed her so passionately, that some of their friends made a puking face, while the others just turned their faces away.
“Get a room, please,” Jared said and everyone laughed while they finally pulled away, and Isabella hid her face in his chest, feeling shy.
“You can’t possibly be shy, a free smooching him boldly in our faces,” Amelia was so adorable and Tristan laughed, rubbing her hair, while she still hid.
“I’ll introduce you to my friends, sweetheart,” he said and she pulled her head out staring at him in shock.
“What did you just say?” She whispered staring at him.
“I want to introduce my friends to you,” He said, and she gave him a sad smile.
“This is Jared, Dylan, and Jake,” She pointed out, and she waved at them.
“Nice to meet you all, and these are my friends, Amelia and Ava,” She smiled at them, while her friends started to chat with them.
“Please make yourself comfortable, there are pastries in the kitchen, and I’ll set the dinner table soon,” She said and walked away to join Rose and set the table.
“Take notes from your wife, Tristan,” Dylan said to him, and immediately carried a tray of pastries giving it out to everyone while Tristan just laughed.
Isabella and Tristan’s home was filled with laughter and chatter that evening. Everyone was getting to know each other and were just simply having fun. Amelia had joined the boys to play video games and had beat Dylan in a round. They finally sat at the table, eating and laughing as it got darker.
Eventually, it was time to say goodbye to everyone. Their friends were grateful for the wholesome tome they had at their house, while Isabella and Tristan were happy to have hosted them and to have enjoyed that beautiful evening with them. It was blissful they thought, and waved at them.
