His hands were wrapped around my waist, as I stirred on the bed and turned around to stare at him. After the intense kissing, and various kissing sessions lasting more than a minute, I could say my lips were already tired. Tristan had slept in my room, while we had cuddled after our moment.
“He’s so gorgeous,” I whispered, as my hands played with his brows, brushing it a bit so he didn’t wake up. I smiled staring at him come hands touched my lips while I stared at his, and touched it lightly, recalling how it felt having him kiss me.
“Hmm,” I said and kissed his forehead, turning around with the intention to get back to sleep when I heard his voice.
“You know you can kiss me anytime you want right?” He said and I gasped.
“Pervert,” I mouthed and squeezed my face embarrassed.
“Only for you, only for your muffin,” he breathed out raspy as he immediately locked his lips on mine, without any warning.
“Tristan,” I managed to say, trying to push him away, but my lips seemed to be enjoying the kiss as I continued to reciprocate while pushing him.
“What muffin?” he didn’t look happy, but finally pulled away.
“My lips are swollen already,” I said truthfully, but instead he smiled proudly. I had noticed it last night and immediately requested for an ice pack. It wasn’t so serious, but I wouldn’t want to make it look worse.
“Plus, we haven’t brushed our teeth,” I raised my brows at him. He groaned immediately like a child, upon hearing that.
“Seriously,” he says and sucks back into the bed, barely caring about the complaint I made.
“Go brush your teeth, Mr. Tristan,” I said seriously, but he tried to make a sad face instead.
“Can’t we just stay this way, all day” His hands were around me, pulling me closer to himself.
“No,” I disapprove immediately. “You have a company to run, and I have a job to get to,” I rushed my words.
“You’re such a mood kill,” I laughed at what he said. “Fine. How about ten more minutes, before you chase me out,” He pleaded.
“Tristan,” I called out frustrated, because I was about to give in to him.
“Please,” he said the magic word.
“Fine. Just ten minutes,” I gave into him, enjoying his warmth as he immediately pulled me to himself. It felt great being wrapped around him like this, so I didn’t protest but instead enjoyed the moment.
A few minutes later after the initial fixed time, I had pulled away. I opened my eyes and stared at him, he looked so peaceful the way he lay that I didn’t want to wake him up, but we both had to get to work.
“Ten minutes up. Go get ready for work,” I whispered and he squeezed his face giving me a laugh.
“Fine, I’ll go,” He breathed out and took his time getting off the bed. I was already on my feet, while I stared at him.
“Dress up nice for me,” He walked up to me, kissed my cheeks, and immediately left my room, leaving me there completely stunned.
“I’m not doing that,” I said even though I knew he wouldn’t hear me.
An hour later, I was done creaming my body and stretching my hair. I stood in front of the full-length mirror while I placed clothes on my body, trying to see which one looked better on me, as I had let Tristan’s words get into my head. I started to overthink what to wear, leaving me frustrated…
“Muffin,” He knocked and called out my name, while I said come in and the door opened revealing him, as he woke into my room fully dressed while I was clad in my towel.
“What’s going on here? Are you okay muffin?” He rushed towards me, looking genuinely worried as he asked. I lifted my gaze at him and didn’t say anything but sat on the floor with piles of my clothes scattered everywhere.
“Why aren’t you dressed?” He asked staring at my room confused.
“It’s your fault,” I half yelled, while he looked taken aback by my words.
“What?”
“If you hadn’t said that this morning, I would have been dressed by now, but you did and now I’m confused about what to wear,” I sounded like a baby as I broke down to him.
“I’m sorry,” he laughed, and started to pick up my clothes from the floor, put them in their respective hangers, and took them back to the closet, keeping them neatly.
“You would look great in anything you wore,” Sincerity laced through his words, and that made me feel a whole lot better.
“But you can try this,” He handed over a dress to me. I looked at him in shock, while he sat on the bed with a smile on my face. I was a pants and blazer girl. I barely wore a gown or dressed in this outfit to work. I collected it from him and walked to the closet putting it on..
I walked out of the room and stood in the mirror staring at myself in the double-breasted pleated hem blazer dress. It was white and I got it from the shopping Tristan did for me. I wore it with white heels, brought out a white medium leather tote bag from my closet, and packed all my stuffs inside while he just sat on the bed and watched me.
“You look beautiful as always,” he breathed out, staring at me so divinely that I almost lost my breath.
“Thank you,” I blushed, and took a step further closer to him.
“Let’s go have breakfast,” he said smiling, while I followed him as we left my room.
We ate breakfast, and right now we were at the office. Tristan had gone into his office and started to work on his laptop. While I turned on my laptop and got to work.
I sighed and thought of the girls, and at that moment, my phone beeped and I received a message from our group chat. I smiled reading all the warm greetings and check up from them before asking for their present for lunch at a small diner close to work. I had a lot to catch up with them, and I also needed to thank them for their advice.
At lunch break, I arrived at the restaurant and there they were already seated waiting for me.
“Hey,” I waved and quickly approached them.
“How are you guys doing?” I added excited as I pulled out a chair and sat on it.
“Work has been busy, so I guess we’ve been good,” Ava responded.
“How’s your baby?” My question was directed to Amelia as I asked about her son.
“He’s with my parents, and he’s fine,” She smiled while I nodded my head.
“So, how have you been?” Amelia asked me.
“Been good actually,” I smiled brightly while Ava gazed at me suspiciously.
“And how is he?” She added and I knew exactly who she was talking about.
“He’s fine,” I blushed while responding to her, while Ava coughed immediately.
“What happened? That smile, the pink cheeks,” Ava pointed out, I immediately covered my face embarrassed.
“We talked, we are talking,” they smiled immediately.
“Oh my gosh! Are you for real?” They exclaimed happily while I nodded my head, excited like they were.
“I want to thank you guys, you helped me in making this a reality, and I’m grateful,” I told them truthfully, while they fanned their faces proudly.
“I’m so happy for you babes,” Ava said truthfully.
“So when do we get to be introduced,” Amelia furrowed her brows at me, and my mouth formed an “oh”.
“Right, how about this weekend? You guys can come over,” I told them with a smile on my face.
“Yes,” Ava raised her hands in the air while I rolled my eyes.
“But first, I’ll have to run it over with my husband,” I smiled.
“Owww, definitely run it by your husband,” Amelia mimicked me horribly and we all ended up laughing.
