Harley’s POV
“Are you ready to go?” Glen asked seriously.
I looked at Molly and Paul, then sighed softly.
“So you are seriously not coming with us?” I asked calmly.
“No, I can’t and I won’t. Well, not without my mate. She chose to stay here, and that’s where I will stay,” Paul answered.
“Do you realize that Jace won’t be happy with the news?” Glen asked seriously.
“I know that; that’s why I will call him after some time,” he answered.
“So you will stay here?” Edith asked.
“No, I will stay with Luna Berta so that I can be close to Molly if she needs me,” he answered simply.
“It seems there is no convincing you,” I whispered, then walked out of the guest room and into the living room where Molly’s parents were.
They quickly stood up when they saw me.
“Are you seriously leaving?” Mr. William asked seriously.
“Yes, sir, as I said yesterday, we do have to go back. I didn’t tell my ma… husband that I would stay long; he must be worried by now,” I answered and then looked back when I picked up Glen’s scent.
He was approaching with a puzzled expression on his face.
Why was it that whenever I said something about Sky, he was right there to hear it clearly? It was like his moon goddess was taking delight in me hurting him.
“Oh, so you are married to someone else?” Mrs. William asked as I looked at her.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked softly.
“We thought Mr. Brown was your husband,” Mr. William answered, then looked apologetic when Mrs. William hit him lightly with her shoulder.
“Well, to tell the truth…”
“You are wrong,” Glen answered quickly, cutting me off as he stood next to me.
I looked at him coldly and then shifted my gaze to the floor.
What he had said was the truth, yet it felt terrible. I was disappointed in his words and somehow hurt.
“Why do I feel like this?” I asked myself.
“Because we still have feelings for him,” Jade whispered.
I looked at him seriously as he frowned.
I really did feel sad whenever he left or didn’t look my way. If feeling that way meant I had feelings for him, then so be it.
“But what if he doesn’t have any feelings for us?” I asked her.
“We can live with that, as we tried to when he didn’t want us,” she answered.
I looked at Mr. and Mrs. William and then smiled.
“Well, he is my husband as well, but we like keeping it a secret because it’s not every day you see one lady married to twin brothers,” I said seriously.
They both looked very shocked, and their gaze went to Glen as if waiting for his confirmation.
I, too, wanted to hear what he would say to them.
Was he going to reject me in front of them, or was he going to accept me?
I looked at him seriously as he looked me in the eyes.
“I did say you were wrong because, as she said, we hate it when people look at us as weird when we are happy with the three of us,” he answered, then shifted his gaze to them.
“Of course, we do understand you completely, and there is just no way we can ever judge you when there are men who marry as many wives as they can have,” Mrs. William said.
“She’s right; if men can do it, why can’t women?” Mr. William asked.
I couldn’t stop looking at Glen because my heart was beating rapidly at his words.
I was so surprised because I had expected him to say nothing or deny my lies and claims.
“You are right,” Glen answered and then looked back at me with a smile.
“So, if it’s not too much to ask, can you keep this between us? We are still not comfortable enough to let other people know,” he said and then grabbed my hands and moved them to his lips.
“Of course, we will never tell a soul,” Mrs. William answered.
“What did we miss?” Edith asked, when she walked in with Molly and Paul.
“Nothing,” I answered quickly while I pulled my hands away.
“Are you sure?” she asked.
“Of course,” I answered simply.
“Okay,” she said, and then walked to where Mr. and Mrs. William were, giving them a hug.
“I hate to leave this place because you welcomed us with open arms. Sadly, we have to go,” she said when she pulled back.
“You can always visit us, child,” Mrs. William answered happily.
“Of course we will be visiting whenever we are free. Also, if it’s not too much to ask, Mrs. William, can we use a portal to go back home?” she asked.
“Huh?” Mr. William asked.
“You know she can use magic, so traveling back isn’t that hard for her because she can use a portal,” Molly answered.
“Is that really possible?” Mrs. William asked with excitement.
“How about I demonstrate for you?” Edith asked.
“Sure, please do,” Mr. William answered.
Edith walked forward and placed her hand on the wall.
I looked at Glen, who immediately smiled back at me.
I wanted to shift my gaze, but I couldn’t help but smile back.
“There, it’s done,” Edith said, getting my attention.
“Oh my, it really is a portal. Can someone travel through it?” Mrs. William asked loudly.
“Of course, that’s what we are using to go back home,” Edith answered simply.
“Extraordinary and amazing,” Mr. William whispered, making Edith laugh.
“You will get used to it soon. Anyway, Mr. and Mrs. William, it was a pleasure meeting you both, but right now we have to go. With time, I’ll visit you soon,” she said and then walked into the portal.
“Is she gone?” Mr. William asked.
“Just like that?” Mrs. William asked.
“Yes, she’s gone, father and mother, just like that,” Molly answered.
“Shall we go then?” Glen asked as he extended his hand to me.
“Our bags?” I asked softly.
“Edith teleported them first,” he answered.
I quickly went to Molly and hugged her.
“I will miss you so much,” I whispered softly.
“I will miss you too… my sister,” she answered.
I pulled back and smiled at her.
“Whenever you want to talk, I’ll be around. You can also call me,” I said, and then looked at Paul, who nodded and then gave a low bow.
“I hope to see both of you soon,” I said, and then walked to Glen, grabbing his hand.
“Mr. and Mrs. William, live well and always stay blessed,” Glen said softly.
“Live long, my children, and always know that you have our gratitude,” Mrs. William answered.
I smiled at them and then walked into the portal with Glen.
